Bottom line up front: Jaime is my new plumber! I've had a guy I liked a lot for about four years, but Jaime is taking me away. Why? I'm a landlord and today my tenant said the hot water heater was not working. I called All American Team, had to leave a message and I sent a text. Five minutes later, he calls back, quoted me a very good price for a new water heater, installation, haul away the old one, everything. I said do it, and he was on site within an hour with a new appropriate water heater. He and his two guys installed it, and within 3 hours of my call to him, the job was done! Tenant and I are happy. PLUS! He said he would come back once a year on the anniversary of the installation to drain the heater so that sediment is flushed out and it continues to run properly. I requested for a warranty service appointment for my new Navien water heater on March 18 2024 with Jaime Fernandez from ALL AMERICAN TEAM PLUMBING, had several follow up calls but he always had many excuses like he got into traffic, his truck got broken that he cannot come anymore to our agreed appt, he has bad phone connection when talking to me and that he will call me back but never did, and keeps on cancelling the appt. My water heater is still within his labor warranty until April 14, 2024. He finally came to my house on April 6, 2024 after multiple failed scheduled appts. Upon assessment, he said that he needs to order 2 parts for replacement from Navien company: the front panel and VID sensor. My Navien water heater was brand new, barely less than one year old. He said 2 parts have to be replaced. Navien delivered the 2 parts to his home address on April 9, but he said he did not receive it. Navien told me a certain Ivona signed and received it on his home address. Anyways, cut the long story short, he never came back to me to fix my water heater. He even left my water heater cover opened for more than 2 months!!! Up to this day, more than 2 months now, it hasn't been fixed yet. I am in constant communication with the Navien company and told me to ask my contractor to just call them to fix the issue, but he never did. As I said, has so many excuses and promised to give them a call. He was RUDE and dismissive the entire time whenever I call him, refused to address my concerns or fix the problem. He had asked for my information a couple of times for my name and address which I always gave and texted him. Still he has other excuses and alibis. I just recently checked his license on the business card that he gave me before and his license is under a certain company Trueline contracting 941727 where he was already dissociated with since 07/14/2021 based on the CA Contractor licensing website. I wonder if he is truly licensed. That was the license he gave me before during my water heater installation last year. I need to recheck if he is really licensed. For this, I don't think it's worth of recommending him to other people. He is probably good with long experience as he claims about himself but NO ETHICS AT ALL and a LIAR!!! read more

I called Friday afternoon to set up an appointment for leak detection. I was surprised when I was told that they could come by the next morning! Before I hung up I asked how much it would cost to come out to look at our situation - I was told no charge. I figured there would be some up sell when he got there, but we really needed to find the leak. They were about 20 minutes late on the appointed time, but we live in a fairly remote area, so not too big of a deal. Loved that they showed up in a mask, so important right now! When they arrived I described what our situation was and they got right to work on checking toilets, then the water heater and then the water softener. When my wife mentioned a noise she frequently heard at the clothes washer, he immediately found the problem was the water softener was continually passing water thru and down the drain. He solved it by hitting the bypass. Problem solved in less than 15 minutes! I figured now I was going to find what 'no charge' meant in reality. I found out he meant what he said - NO CHARGE! He walked me through what to do to make sure water was shut off. He and his team were at my home in no time. I was so worried about how bad it was going to be. Turns out a pipe had broken under my tub - there was water everywhere. They had to cut several holes in the wall, lift carpet and reroute the line - this was a lot of repair work and all of it was done in just a few days! Again - amazing. These guys get it they know how to run a successful Plumbing business. Water heater went today and I went down to our local big box store and bought a W/H left in will call. The referred Plumber shows up in four hours tells me I have all of this water damage which he claims was extensive, (little water on the ground occurred while I was draining the W/H) Told me I need a restoration company to come out and rebuild my platform because of mold and I should use my homeowner insurance because if the high cost. Told me he could do a temp. hook up for 1175.00 and after restoration company finishes their work he could come back for 500.00 and hook it up. The restoration work would be 1000s and day's of work. I looked these guys up was impressed with their ratings and comments. I called at 4 PM he was here at 5 gone at 6 PM charged me 265.00 hauled my old W/H away and rolled up my hose. Before I hired these guys I called up a Plumber who has ripped me off before, he quoted me 775.00 if the water heater was on site. Just labor. These guys are awesome. My husband and I are in the process of selling our house, and the buyer is requesting a bunch of repairs before the sale goes through. I called All American Team, Inc on Wednesday 8/5 to see if someone could drop by and give an estimate for 3-4 projects, and the man on the phone said he was actually going to be in the area so he would drop by that evening around 7pm. My husband made sure to get home before that and called around 8 to make sure we were still getting an estimate. Jaime told my husband that he did not say "today" he said Victor would be there "Friday". Friday came and went and nobody showed, and Victor did not answer his phone, or return our messages. We could have spent Wed, Thurs and Friday getting in touch with plumbers that would actually show up, but all of the good reviews here on Yelp made us think the guys at All American Team, Inc weren't the types to stand us up like that. Jaime is exceptionally prompt, reliable, excellent at troubleshooting, helpful advise, and goes beyond expectations. Called him on at 8 PM at night because my water pressure at the house was very low, and ofcourse as luck would have it he was working at that hour. Promised me an appointment later that week, he texted me twice to reconfirm and showed up earlier than expected. He instantly diagnosed the issue within 10 mintues, told me that it was my water softener (unfortunately I had to replace the resin tank) and he doesn't work on softeners. Even showed me a few tricks of the trade on how to unclog a nagging sink in one of my bathrooms. Best part about his visit = NO CHARGE. We initially called Jamie at the end of last year to fix a flange in our toilet. He and his team came in very polite and professional and knocked it out same day. Toilet was good to go in 45 minutes, it was impressive. It was also comforting talking with Jamie. After they left we felt like , wow I wish all contractors were like that. We just got a good vibe. Leading to our next chapter of our relationship. About 4 months later I took a shower and , yup a huge leak creating a water fall in our kitchen. Luckily, so we thought we have our home warranty. Not only ruined our kitchen ceilings(BY KNOCKING HOLES ALL OVER OUR KITCHEN CEILING, but cut a hole in our second story sub floor along with our tiled closet. Yes there was a hole in our upstairs closet. I kicked him out at that point and calmed down(VERY STRESSFUL). Then we called back Jamie out of our own pocket because Royal Service offers us 400 bucks. Wow, not even close. Anyways, Jamie and his crew had not only fixed all the unecessary damage caused by Royal Service but also identified the original leak. Took him 5 minutes to figure it out UN like Royal Service. Jamie and his crew treated our home as if it was his own. We had plastic all over the place to ensure the least amount of dust and debree stayed contained instead of all over the house. It was so appreciated. There work was quick and we honestly couldn't even tell there was any damage caused from that other place. These guys are not only good tradesman but good people too. Finally, a good contractor! Jaime came out to look a leaky toilet. Instead of taking me for a ride and charging an arm and a leg to fix the toilet, he told me how to fix it myself and what parts I needed to fix the problem. He even went to Home Depot and bought the right parts for me and only charged the actual price of the parts! I also had him look at my hot water heater that was leaking from the pressure valve. He diagnosed the problem, went to Home Depot to buy the parts and fixed the issue in under an hour. He also installed a coupling so I could change out the valve myself next time and showed me how. He said his company is more about building relationships with their customers than taking them for a ride. I have recommended Jaime and his team to my neighbors and co-workers! After waiting over five days for my "home warranty" plumber to come replace my water heater I called Jaime at All American Plumbing and he came the same day as i called. He replaced the water heater, installed a new pressure regulator, new shut off valve, etc. (and while he was here he fixed a gasket in my kitchen sink). He did all of the above for less cost than it was going to cost me out of pocket with the Home Warranty replacing the water heater alone. Two things: 1. I will never purchase home warranty insurance on my property again. 2. I received a quote from Jaime for installing two brand new toilets purchased by me and removal the old once. The quote was reasonable and the job was done by him and his team within 20 min. Jaime left the promises before the job was finished and told me that I would pay the guy who was just finishing the job. When I was ready to write a check I was told it was $120.00 more on the $160.00 job. I was so shocked that I wrote the check for $280.00. I called Jaime with a question and was told that there was an additional part needed. My problem is that he did not inform me about that price increase when he was leaving, just told me " you pay the other guy" Afterwards I still wanted him to do other plumbing repair which he again gave me a reasonable quote. This time I thought I will only pay him the amount he quoted so at least I won't be taken for a ride on one of the jobs. I had called him a couple of times - ones he responded via text that he would call me later - never did, after waiting a couple of days I called again and was told that he was busy and would call me within a day or so - never did. I am hoping that future customers will read not only the best reviews but all reviews. Had Jaime come out and give me an estimate for some plumbing work on my kitchen that I had gutted and was remodeling. I could have done the work myself, but felt that Jamie would get it done quicker. We set up the project date. He never showed or called. I finally called him 6 hours after he was supposed to show. He said he was on his way. Over an hour later he showed up for 15 minutes and just laid the gas line in the ditch. He said he would be back first thing tomorrow to finish up. The next day he never showed. I left several messages asking where he was. The final message I left was informing him that I would be hiring another plumber. He finally called back and said he would be at my house at 9 am sharp. He arrived at 9:20. I asked him what happened, why didn't he show up? He told me that he had taken on another project to help out a friend of a friend. Things went bad and he was ducking all his phone calls. Mind you, he never called to inform me that he was rescheduling my project. He did the plumbing work. It was/is acceptable. He did hack out huge sections of wall studs that I ended up having to repair. He then had me write him a check to him personally and not to his company and it was $50.00 more then he had bid it for. The ended up throwing some plumbing parts and a old, leaking abs glue container into my hillside. I found it on one of my guava trees. We are an organic farm. I don't wont toxins leaking on to my fruit trees. Not sure why they did these considering that they had garbage bags that they had filled with other debris. I am very disappointed in how I, a repeat customer and previous 5 star yelp reviewer, was treated. I will be finding another plumber for any of my next plumbing needs. read more

Jaime Fernandez and his team were excellent! I called him the day right after I found out my water heater malfunctioned. He walked me through the whole process and asked me what the symptoms were, took pictures, and figured out right away what the problem was. He then made time out of his busy day to try and remedy the issue. After we found out that the leak was cause due to old age and sediments had build up over time clogging the tank. We decided the best option was to replace it. I wanted to go out with the old and in with the new. So I told Jaime let's go with the best tankless water heater because I wanted to have quality over quantity. We went over the options and my budget. Ultimately Navien NPE A-series was my best option. Don't get me wrong, it's not cheap. I told him I wanted my hot water up and running as soon as possible. He made the order and set up an appointment the next day 6:30am on a holiday weekend. After 3:30 hrs of installation it was well worth the money and time. I love my new tankless water heater. And the space it takes up it nothing compared to that ugly tank we had before.
