I called at 7am, and asked for two dozen donuts to be ready for my kids' school around 8:30. The guy - who I could barely understand - said "ok no prollem". So I loaded up my kids, drove 20 minutes across town, and went in to pick up the donuts I had ordered. They had a total of 4 donuts when I got there. They sold out of donuts. They didn't prepare my order, even with 1.5 hours notice. I had to call the school and ask them to postpone breakfast so that I could drive to Dunkin Donuts - another 20 minutes away. Just remember, without Dives, Guy Fieri wouldn't have a show. This place certainly has a cobbled together feel for a restaurant, but don't let that stop you. The food is made to order and the staff is sweet and happy to see you. I wouldn't drive across town just to come and visit here, but if I was in the area for breakfast or lunch I would come back without hesitation. they have lots of walk in traffic so the (non-yelping) locals must like the place. I had the Triple Stack breakfast sandwich which was huge and appropriately filling, the better half had a breakfast burrito which she reportedly enjoyed. The food, overall, was quite good (easily 4-star). The hashbrowns were fried crisp on the outside, tender and buttery on the inside, just the way I like them! Their breakfast burrito was big and stuffed full. My omelet was a hearty portion and they were not stingy with the ingredients. The 2-star biscuit (which cost extra to substitute from toast) was a disappointment. It was warmed on the burger grill and the resulting beefy taste was offputting. They didn't butter it before the attempt to toast so it really doesn't give you the grilled effect. No butter or margarine is offered at the condiment station either; you have to know to ask for it. The prices are too high considering that you place your order at the register and pay first before seating yourself; then your food is eaten from disposable "dishes" and plastic forks. If they stick with counter-service-only, paper plates and Styrofoam, I would probably only come back if prices were about 20% less. My preference would be table service and tableware, which could earn them a 5-star rating. The employees (who I'm guessing are the owners) were very friendly and hospitable. Found this little gem on Yelp! after a long morning walk. It wasn't far from where I was staying, so I hopped in the car. Glad I did! It's cute in here (there is a clown/circus theme- so heads up if you're creeped out by clowns like I am ) BUT: the corned beef hash was amazing. I added jalapeños because I put that sh*t on everything. I inhaled it. I looked up and forgot where I was for a second. Glad I sat in the window seat to give passersby a solid look at a ravenous woman who just got her morning coffee. There are tables outside to sit at when it's nice outside, and it seems like a solid spot to just enjoy a good meal. This place is SEVERELY dirty. My boyfriend and I usually order delivery from here, but We were in the area and decided to dine in. We went in around 9 am. We ordered and went to find a seat. We immediately moved a booth over. This booth had crumbled up trash, dirt between the cracks of the wooden seats and crumbs on the floor. It looked like it hadn't been swept in a while. So we get the food. Looked great. Taste great. Decided it needed a little bit of seasoning. The salt and paper shakers were STICKY. Like from build-up of peoples hands using it. I wrap it with a napkin and tried to push through again. A worker came in and sat down. She wipped down a table for a booth after a women had left with her to go order. Just a quick hit, one wipe situation. As we were eating, a fly started to fly by us and our food. We finished our meals. The meals come served on a tray, so it's a lunch style set up, where you take care of your tray. So, I decided to take care of them. Immediately, I was met with the familiar touch of STICKINESS. I hurried up and went to the trash can. The front the trash can had a collection of old dripped food on it, from people just shoving and dumping the trash off their trays. We left out the door which was covered from top to bottom with handprints and went to our car. We had to take care of some spilled water in our car, so we we're outside the store front for a bit cleaning. And I see the same worker come up to our booth, with a rag and spray. One of the best places to eat in the boro that you don't know about! If you see a clown on old fort parkway, follow him to this restaurant and you will not be disappointed! They serve a full menu all day every day, and have some very affordable and delicious combos! Donuts, Dippin' Dots, Burgers, Hotdogs, they have it all and cook it when you order. Stopped in to All American Cafe on my way from Nashville to Atlanta. What a wonderful find. The food is excellent! They are friendly and kind. I had the triple stack breakfast stack. It came with a drink and hash browns. All was fresh and cooked perfectly. I talked to another local couple sitting next to me who had customized hamburger meals. They also were talking about how good their food was. This is a traditional cafe setting, but has a very upbeat feel (might be the Christian rock station playing in the background). I also had to pay extra to get Fries/hash browns because the "combo" comes with a doughnut and a drink. I discovered this place early this year for breakfast. That week we came back 3 times because work was in the area. The food is always consistent. My favorite so far has been the Louis' Lover with the shredded beef over the hashbrowns. Add a couple sunny side up eggs and you're in for a great meal! The food tastes very much homemade and the crisp on the hashbrowns is great! Also they get fresh doughnuts delivered daily! The weakness here would be the coffee which is important enough for one star but, I'm willing to sacrifice that because I do enjoy their breakfast recipes that much. The location is clean, bathrooms included. The owners are nice but like anyone when they are busy they're focused. I saw that they wear gloves which indicates they are sanitary. Much more than most places. I have heard the lunch is great but I have not had it yet however, if I know I will be in the area early, I will make this my breakfast stop. Seeing that they added tables is a great sign that their product has made many happy. read more

Stopped in the All American Cafe for lunch on Sat Mar 6. It was our first visit. They were a little busy and we had to wait for a table to be wiped and then we sat down. No one told us to order at the counter! And there was no signage. But we finally figured it out! Ha Once we ordered, it took a while to get our food but they cook everything fresh.
