    Mango Bingsu Shaved Ice Cream
    Smith N.

This was basically place side of house. The bubble tea and ice cream has 2 different lines but it actually the same building. It has very chill vibes and decor, reminds me of boardwalk in the sunnier cities like LA or Honolulu. The service was fast and the staff was friendly. We got the Mango Bingsu Shaved Ice, which was a decent price and had lots of toppings as well. Overall, would I go back? More than likely!

Stopped to get bingsu after dinner on Alki! The bingsu itself was okay and a bit on the pricier side ($14 for one) but split it between two people. Got the matcha one and maybe since it was towards the end of the day, the red beans were too mushy for my taste. Loved how close this place is to the water and the inside. I liked how they sold old time candy. It's a fun place to stop if you're in the area for a sweet treat.

This place is beyond tasty! Upon approaching the building there is a line out of the door, customers seem happy to be patronizing the shop. There are over ten unique flavors to chose from among a wide assortment of bubble teas and flavorful juices. There aren't many places to sit but a slight hop across the street will land you on a beach front facing the pugent sound. The customer service immediately greeted me and offered me samples of as many flavors I could stuff my face with. Overall, I highly recommend trying the ice cream! Next time, I ll try the bubble tea.

My partner and I decided to have a little dessert before we left Alki. The service was great, so was the location and ambiance of the shop! One thing we wanted to mention was that the teas/ice creams were more on the pricey-er side. Tea only will cost you about $8 and a double scoop of ice cream will also fall around that too. In total, for a cup of tea (no toppings,) and some ice cream it came out to 16 (no tax included.) We forgot to take picture of our food before we ate, so here's a during picture! :)

Why is 90% of the drink ice. Istg I finished it before I walked outside the restaurant.

Bingsu is so delicious. It's a light and fluffy shave ice, perfect for summer. Daughter begs to go back daily.

We sampled several flavors and ended up ordering Seattle Fog, Ube Coconut, Lemon Poppy Seed, and Matcha. Every flavor was distinct and delicious. * Seattle Fog was my favorite--smooth, aromatic, and subtly infused with Earl Grey tea, making it unique without being overly sweet. * Ube Coconut had a beautiful natural purple color and a creamy tropical flavor that wasn't overpowering. * Lemon Poppy Seed was bright, refreshing, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of citrus. * Matcha had a rich, earthy flavor that wasn't bitter and paired beautifully with the tangy yogurt base.

The frozen Greek yogurt was good, but it didn't quite live up to the buzz for me. The texture was creamy but the tartness of yogurt overpowers the actual flavors of the ice cream, but overall it felt more like a solid dessert than a must-visit destination. That said, the location is great if you're already walking around Pike Place and looking for something refreshing. Just be prepared for a line, especially during peak tourist hours. Overall, I'm glad I tried it once, but with so many great dessert options in the area, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to return.

About a minute after getting my drink, I took a sip and was surprised that it was cold--not even lukewarm, but actually cold. I didn't go back to ask for a remake because there were several people in line behind me and I didn't want to wait. Instead, I ended up microwaving it when I got back to my Airbnb. The latte itself was decent and had a strong espresso flavor, but the mocha syrup was way too sweet for my taste. I think it would have been much better if it had been about half as sweet. The price was also pretty high for a 12 oz latte. The customer service was disappointing. The young woman who helped me came across as rude and seemed like she didn't want to be there. That's especially unfortunate for a business located in the middle of a major tourist area. As for the drink, I'm not sure how a hot latte ends up being served cold, but it definitely shouldn't happen. I also sampled the tiramisu gelato, which was overly sweet and didn't taste very authentic. Overall, I regret spending the time, money, and calories here. There are too many great coffee shops in Seattle to settle for an experience like this.

So funny. The staff is kind and is more than happy to let you sample to your heart's desire. There is seating both inside and out. I am sure on summer evenings this place is insanely busy, but on a Monday at approximately 2PM, I didn't wait in a line at all. They had fun summer flavors such as apricot crisp, blueberry cheesecake, cherry chunk, and strawberry sorbet. I tried two different flavors, and both were delicious. Both flavors were extremely creamy, even the fruity flavored ones. I started with the strawberry sorbet. It was refreshing. The strawberry really shined through and was extremely fresh tasting. I feel like strawberry flavoring can sometimes come off as artificial, but I did not have that experience with this ice cream. The second flavor I sample, and my favorite one of the day was the honey lavender. It felt like you were walking through an organic lavender field. As always, cities have expensive ice cream, but I am just a girl, so I will get a sweet treat.
