I do believe some steps of the process of both mani and pedi were skipped for some reason- usually they clip the skin around the nails or file them perfectly straight... again- attention to detail was lacking. For the amount of time I spent there, I expected some great work. They have a points program but you have to earn over 400 points to get it, and each point is a dollar. Seems far fetched. I'm not sure if it is due to overbooking or just allowing too many walk-ins, but I have definitely had to wait over 20 minutes for an appointment I made in advanced which is unacceptable. Charming nail is one of the only salons in the area which offers dazzle dry, but the consistency of the service is all over the place. Some technicians follow the dazzle dry procedures perfectly which results in a long lasting manicure, but others don't and my nails chip less than 24 hours after being done. This is frustrating when I'm spending $30 plus tip for something that doesn't last. Especially when I'm getting nails done for a special event. Overall the vibe of the salon is good and the people are nice, but I do hope this lapse in recent service rectifies itself so that I can feel confident in going back.

She took her apron off, grabbed her purse and was running out the door, which again made me feel a little uncomfortable as a customer you never want your customers to feel that they're an inconvenience. I usually make my appointments with Jennifer or Molyka. They are both very personable and constantly do a great job. I trust them to take good care of my nails and I can always relax while they get my nails into better shape. Metro Nails has a wide rainbow of colors and brands to choose from. I prefer OPI, but there are also colors from DND and Essie. Like some other businesses, there is an extra charge for paying with credit cards. I use Venmo to tip my nail technicians, but some others also have cash app. Parking around Wickenden Street can be a little tricky sometimes, but you'll definitely find a spot.
