Drove to Scranton for a day tour of all famous places featured in The Office and our first stop was Alfredo's Pizza Cafe. True to what they say in the show, this is great pizza. We got the Bruschetta pizza and it was bursting with flavours. Mozzarella sticks were good too and Diet Coke was bottomless (yay) The service here was outstanding, the person who brought our food was funny, cheerful and made great conversation. I'll remember this lunch for many reasons but mainly because of that man. The restaurant also has their own version of mugs, tees and caps featuring the show incase you wanna purchase something to keep.

If you're an Office fan or just want a really delicious cheese calzone, head on over to Alfredo's. The resturant is in a shopping center with ample parking. It's clean and spacious and typically crowded. I've been here a number of times so when I tell you to allot a lot of time to dine here, I mean it. The service is friendly but incredibly slow. I mean very slow. Not that you are rushed when eating , but from sitting to getting your food you are going to have a wait time. I will also say that at times the portions aren't always consistent. The food is delicious, but the size varies. The cheese calzone, which is amazing with cheese, sauce and perfect flavor, often seems different sizes to me. But, it doesn't stop me from coming here when I'm the area- because it's absolutely delicious!

Food was delicious and staff was very friendly and responsive. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. The pasta and chicken parm was very good and the wings were great. Our only critique is the crust of the pizza could be thinner and crispier but it was still delicious! A must try for any "The Office" fans out there or anyone looking for some "fine food". :)

I am not afraid to say that I came here because of The Office! The food is not the best in the world, but the fun of the connection made it definitely worth it. They certainly are capitalizing on The Office connection. If you love the Office, definitely go! If not, and you just need a quick bite, why not stop by? The service is great. Sit outside and enjoy the patio

I ordered the southwest wrap for lunch. When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. I walked in and was greeted. The food was ready, and I paid and left. When I dug in, the wrap was good. It was also very filling! Had a good experience!

Have been getting the chopped Italian salad for so long and have always loved it. Last time I ordered there was barely any meat or lettuce for that matter in the salad which I figured was a fluke. Ordered again to find the exact same issue. Tried for the third time today and there is barely anything in the container. If the salad wasn't $18.00 maybe I wouldn't be as mad but the salad is $18.00. Last time ordering.

I don't understand the appeal of this place Pros: the pizza is very cost efficient (8 dollars for half a pie) and the service was attentive and informative. Absolutely A plus for these things, which helps my rating. But the pizza is just gross. It's like that skating party pizza from the 90s without any of the nostalgia. The American cheese sticks to your teeth. It's just weird. If this kind of pizza (which I've heard is a regional thing) appeals to you then go. Otherwise major pass

Alfredo's IS the GOOD PIZZA!! We were just blown away! Our server recommended their famous thick crust and it was incredible. The cheese was gooey and just melts in your mouth. We ordered a half pan for 2 and it was plenty- we even had to take some home. The pizza was a short wait. The restaurant is very cute traditional decor.

5 stars for the pizza alone, I've never gotten anything else on the menu. I've been getting pizza from here for years on and off since high school and I've never been disappointed. You can't beat a square tray with onions! For this visit I'm writing about, we ordered carryout - a tray, an order of Onion Rings, and French Onion Soup (I don't know why it was an "onion night" it just was) Everything was delicious. I'll always order carry-out from here.

So we went to Alfredo's mainly because of The Office. But they had a great lovely outdoor seating and accommodated our dog. I got a chicken dish which was lovely. My boyfriend got a half rack of pizza. This isn't New York pizza but true PA style. Although it's not what we typically enjoy, it was very tasty. Great atmosphere. Very cosy. Service was 5/5.

    Delicious pizza!

We came on our self guided Office tour. It was very windy out but we still enjoyed sitting out side. The service was great! There were 6 of us and we split a 12 slice as we were getting dinner later. It was piping hot, great cheese and sauce. Our favorite part was the crust! So crunchy like a toasted roll. So great!

Ordered two slices of pepperoni and sausage and mozzarella sticks. Food was good. Tasted like a good episode of 30 Rock or Community.

The service was OK, with there not being a lot of servers, but that's how places are these days. The ambiance was great though, with nice decor but a huge TV right in front of me, which was OK. I do recommend going though as it has a nice big menu for all.

Our waitress and the hostess were very friendly and explained options to me, even confirming one item I accidentally ordered... not realizing it was missing the GF identifier on the menu, so I wouldn't be able to eat it. My meal was the salmon bowl with edamame succotash and it was absolutely delicious. The rest of our group had a caprese chicken panini with sweet potato tots, a burger with bacon and blue cheese with regular tots, and the last had a side salad and tomato soup in a bread bowl. The soup/bread bowl was the only item without rave reviews. It was easy to have a conversation at our table, and there were TVs with college football on so we could enjoy the ending to a few games. Nice place, parking was easy (across the street), and service was fantastic. Will definitely visit again when we are in the area.

Great ambiance (love me some R&B). I live in LA, California where everything is pricey and sometimes the food is not as flavorful for the price you pay. On a layover in Scranton I was walking around hungry, but was unsure of where to go to fix that. So I do what I always do, walk aimlessly. Just a few steps away from the University of Scranton, Chef Von & Mom sits. I entered and was immediately greeted with warm smiles, and beautiful faces. Mom was present, and gave me a brief history lesson. She informed me her family actually established the first black owned restaurant in Scranton. At that point I had heard enough, the smells coming from the kitchen had already decided for me. I asked Mom whats a popular dish I would enjoy, she suggested the BBQ sandwich with the fries. The order came out very quickly and piping hot. The BBQ was juicy, and the fries were seasoned to perfection. I loved the toasted bun, it held the moisture of the coleslaw well without getting soggy. The BBQ sauce was a nice compliment to the overall sandwich, nothing else was needed, this was indeed a hit. I appreciate the incredible customer service, but I love that this family has continued an incredible tradition of bringing Scranton quality food with no exceptions. Pro tip: After I left I looked this place up, the owners Chef Von & Mom were on "Next Level Chef" with Gordon Ramsey. Check out their episode, it originally aired on FOX.
