You may think this is the company you want to go with but I strongly advise against it.
It all began with the best job bid and being a local company. We thought we're were getting a great price and contributing to a small business. In the end we ended up with an additional bill over a thousand dollars that the original quote. In addition to the bill the job was left undone and paid!
Before we signed the job we asked them to come over to clarify the job detail and received a quote the next day. We asked for two quotes, one for the interior of our condo building and one for the interior ceilings and baseboards and door frames for our condo.
After the first or second day of painting we were notified that the walls were dingy that black marks were still showing through the paint ( they stated it was 2 coats but did not appear to be) so I asked them to put on another coat to make it three coats. I asked how many gallons it took to paint this and they said 7. Yet they wanted to use another 7 gallons for a third coat?? I stated it should only take 3.5 gallons for a third coat. They said fine. The next day I requested the door frames be painted because they were very dingy also. They said it would take more paint. So they said they just needed the paint. I said that's ok buy the paint ( what's 123$ for 5 more gallons ya know).
keep In mind we didn't receive the final bill yet.
We were charged 75$ for 10 door frames when we were never told a price outside of the price of the paint , and the lines on the baseboards on the interior of the building look as though it was a paint job down by a regular joe!
After completing the interior of the building they started the condo interior the next week. All went well but on the third day I ask about the ceilings and when they would be complete, and they said they were done. Well they weren't!
We also have baseboards that are not complete and they painted window frames we didn't ask to be painted that we are billed for.
The quote stated the ceilings would be painted. NOT PART of the ceiling, all of it. So the only ceilings that were painted was living and dining.
During the job we asked for the window frames to be painted and they painted two additional window frames that didn't need to be painted.
As a good gesture we paid the original quote knowing they needed to pay workers, but our last bill, as I said was for over a thousand dollars more than the original amount. We contested the bill and told them we weren't paying all of it because we were not given the additional prices, and the job wasn't done. All they could say was we got what we asked for. They told us that no one would paint all of our ceiling for that price. And we didn't ask how much the door frames cost to paint. All the blame was put on us as the consumer and they took no responsibility for their lack of communication. In addition to this mess they said that were stating at 9 as to not disturb the residents in the building and consistently showed up around 10 almost every day.
So if your looking for an honest, reasonable, prompt company that is willing to be upfront and honest with you, one that will communicate clearly and transparently, one that is prompt, and one that has integrity, this is not the one.
My suggestion is to find someone else. AND I wouldn't choose a new company! read more
