My family has hired ProLevel for two jobs so far. We'll definitely be hiring them for other projects on our "punch list." One was replacing a door with a difficult framing situation, and Miguel took his time to do it right and stayed within the quote he'd provided up front. Another job was fixing some closet doors that kept coming off the track and were hard to open and close. This was a smaller job, but once again it involved working in an old house with some wonky dimensions and conditions. He came up with some creative solutions and didn't leave till we were satisfied -- and stuck to the quote he gave up-front. No last-minute surprises! read more

Miguel was great to work with! Communication was timely, and he was able to schedule the project within my preferred time window. On the day of service, Miguel and his helper did a great job protecting the floors, mirrors, and other surfaces to keep everything clean throughout the project. The drywall repair and painting took most of the day, but the work was completed to my satisfaction. You couldn't even tell where the patch had been! read more

Miguel provided an estimate that was very competitive and understood the work that we were requesting (an attic access door update and drop ceiling tile replacement). Miguel and his coworker arrived on time as scheduled and completed all the work within the time estimated. They ensured to cover the entire work area with plastic wrap and drop cloths. The overall workmanship was excellent and the cleanup was excellent too! read more

I hired Pro Level to clean my windows and they did an outstanding job. Inside and out they look like new. Ten windows overall. Great job and thanks! read more

Did a good job on installing a pull-down stairs. I wish they have finished the job though, since they left a roughly patched drywall citing no materials available to finish the drywall repair. read more

I hired Miguel to help with several outdoor projects, and I couldn't be happier with the results. He assembled a large kids swing set with an attached clubhouse, installed two retractable screen doors, converted my propane grill to natural gas, and put up a temporary cedar fence. Everything was done extremely well. Miguel has great attention to detail, and you can tell he takes the time to do things properly. He was also very polite and respectful throughout the whole process. He showed up on time, worked hard every day, and never rushed through anything. It's clear he takes pride in his work. I was very satisfied and will definitely call him again for future projects. Highly recommend! read more

Miguel came highly recommended and did not disappoint. The back door of our 5-unit condo building was on its last leg. Miguel came out to give us a quote and less than a week later, a new door was installed. He did excellent work. I would highly recommend him. read more

This so called Pro level is a one man company of a guy with a truck. I hired him because of good reviews, but it was a terrible experience after which he left my house with giant holes in walls everywhere in the middle of winter and causing damage to my HVAC . Miguel came with an affordable quote initially. After I paid a $2500 deposit, I learned that a lot of basic things were not included into his estimate. The job included demolition of several walls to replace old insulation and then putting new drywall, attic access doors and trim. He then charged me extra 300 to put access door back. He also converted my other bedroom into a dumpster for debris and said that debris removal was not included. After he put new drywall, he would not remove any leftover drywall debris saying that they belong to me because I ordered drywall materials. He behaved unprofessional threatening to quit. His extra fees were disproportionately high compared to similar services that he quotes initially. He apparently hires another worker on a day by day basis. When the project took him longer than expected he asked me to cover what he pays his worker for extra days. When putting insulation he didn't care less if it would not just drop shortly after . He just wanted to be over with it asap so he doesn't pay his worker for extra days. I had to beg him not to cover poorly installed insulation with drywall and to fix defects first. I kept offering him more money to fix things . He installed vapor barrier with the edges not even sealed flapping in the air and didn't care less that this vapor barrier is performing as it should. I specifically asked him to tape moisture barrier around the perimeter and he still left it unsealed in most areas like around windows . He made several giant holes in the walls to see what's behind the walls. What kind of Pro destroys a wall like this? He should have made a cut instead so it can be easily fixed. Now, about the "Pro Level": I was seriously worried that he or his worker would be injured on my property. Neither of them used glasses when they did demolition. He didn't provide his worker with gloves when installing fiberglass insulation. I literally brought glasses and gloves for them myself. If Miguel offers you a quote "materials not included", be advised that he means it. He wanted me to literally order screws, staples for staple guns, sanding blocks for them in addition to various plaster, sealant, etc. It was very stressful for me ordering all these things for him every day because he wanted everything immediately so he could keep his worker as busy as possible. Otherwise he would either "Tell his worker to take a day off or pay for extra day". Eta: Wow. The "Pro" keeps talking about some mythical 19.5 wide batt insulation . It, does not exist, Pro! Not in batts not in any other shape. It only comes in 15 or 24 inches according to modern standard for stud distance. And my house was built in 1930. And you saw studs in the attic before you gave estimate. Very dishonest person: I sent videos with insulation install instructions on Jan 29, estimate from him came on Feb 3 stating "hi Natalia 1. yes we do install the insulation the same way i see in the video and also i cn send you pictures at the process of the work" read more

Miguel and pro level did an amazing job! They arrived every day promptly at 8:30 and worked the entire day. Despite taking longer than expected, they did not try to add to the original estimate, which was extremely affordable. They put in drywall and primed a 11x12 bedroom, walls and ceiling. When I put on trim a few weeks later the corners were nice and square, which made my job easier. I would absolutely hire again and recommend to anyone! read more

100% would recommend, great communicator and hard worker. I had my bathroom door replaced and my door is a very old door do it took a lot of TLC. Miguel went above and beyond to sand down the door and made sure the door was functioning before leaving. Very clean and respectful and his pricing is reasonable. Love the quality of work and the person overall. Thank you Miguel! read more

The best and most reasonably priced handyman I've ever dealt with... Completely professional and couldn't be happier!!

This review is to make my strongest recommendation for Pro Level. Being a GC, sometimes we required additional help. I had so much trouble find someone including here in Yelp, no one showing up or not answering my request. I reached out to Pro Level and Miguel answered on my first try, we set up an appointment the same day, gave me a fair estimate and we schedule the project that same week. As soon as I saw him starting the project, I knew I had hired the correct Sub contractor. He was very detailed about protecting all the working areas and always kept the job site very neat. The job was very challenging, due to structural issues, but he handled every step of the way with high quality and professionalism. He did demolition, new frame, drywall, new electrical and paint for a wine cellar. Each one of them with good quality. Here is are some pics of the final results. I will continue working with Pro Level for all of my future projects. I highly recommend Miguel. read more

Miguel and his team's work was superb. We had a water leak in the unit above, requiring 1/2 the ceiling to to be removed and reinstalled. The ceiling was wood lath, plaster, and drywall (a mess). They installed plastic around the entire room and used heavy duty floor protection. They removed roughly half the ceiling, sprayed to prevent mold, and installed /taped / and painted the ceiling. They were neat, respectful, responsive, and really installed quality work. I recommend for all drywall / taping needs. read more

Miguel is fantastic and very dedicated to what he does, communicative, receptive, you are getting great quality for a great value. He completed a few door replacements for me and some other small things that needed to be fixed. He went above and beyond what I'd expect and was very communicative and upfront with the costs. A lot of others I contacted wanted more for less and were not as communicative. If you're looking for a great contractor, then go to Pro Level. If there's anything that I need, I can rest easy knowing I will first call Pro Level. read more

They were very responsive, punctual, friendly, reasonably priced, and did great work. I highly recommend Pro Level. read more

I had three problematic interior and exterior doors that I finally decided to address. I submitted a quote request through the Yelp estimates feature and Miguel was one of several who responded. He stood out because of his thoughtful communication and he also actually stopped by the next day to look at my doors. Since he was already here, I asked for additional quotes consisting of exterior storm door replacement, fix issue below a different exterior door sill, dry wall replacement and paint job, and a couple of door casing replacements with paint jobs. His quote for the initial request to fix three doors was similar to the other quotes I received. Miguel seems like a thoughtful human, and we were super astonished by his quality work and craftsmanship. Like above and beyond my expectations. He and his helper were very courteous and amazingly clean. Our floor actually looked cleaner after they cleaned up. Miguel was punctual both days, and had great communication skills updating and consulting with me regularly. I made the right decision with Miguel and will reach out to him again if I have any other projects in the future. read more
