My house is 120 years old. Some of the walls still have the original plaster. Before hiring Angel, I had not painted since I bought the place 12 years ago. The walls had peeling paint and cracked plaster and holes and deep scratches where people had hung things in the past or furniture had repeatedly banged the walls. Plus 12 years of fingerprints from grandchildren and dirt and smudges . In 3 days Angels crew converted the house to a place with smooth walls and a fresh clean look and feel . They meticulously moved and covered furniture and floors and rugs to protect them and throughly cleaned up when they were finished They are very professional I'm pleased with the way my home looks now . I would highly recommend them read more

He had to have his crew come back a second time painting my kitchen. They missed 4 Spots that were not painted. They did a good job placing the drywall, but the paint job was not professional. There was paint on my kitchen cabinets that was not there before. I had a very hard time removing it and have to live with it. For what I paid, I expected a professional job. read more

Angel was quick to communicate, offered next day service, and his team got the exterior painting job done within 3 hours at a reasonable price. I plan to hire him again in the future. read more

Angel and his crew were overall very good to work with. We had a big job for them; we needed considerable drywall done in addition to painting and Angel's prices were incredibly reasonable. They started the job a few days before he initially said they'd be able to, and completed it within 14 days. We added on several items, including adding baseboards and painting doors and trim, and the major component of installing flooring in almost the full first floor (originally the job had been solely drywall and paint). He picked up the flooring at the store, which was a great help to me. Angel's got my business for as long as I'm in Chicago and I'll recommend him to anyone. He was very communicative and his crew made the place look so fantastic that I already thinking I want more painting done so that the rest do my place looks as good; the last time it was painted was about a decade ago. Just a tip, though: When you get your invoice, don't use the PayPal link! Talk to Angel about the best way to arrange payment. read more

Great communication. Gave me a quote instantly based of pictures. Showed up on time and provided great quality work. Would recommend!

Angel and his guys were great. Super easy to schedule, work was done efficiently, and the guys were very respectful of our place making sure everything was cleaned up upon completion. Angel gave us perfectly fair price for the amount of drywall and paint work needed, and we will definitely be hiring him and his team again for our future projects. Thank you Angel! read more

I was not able to use Angel because I had to cancel, but he was very responsive and I appreciate his follow up.

I am happy with the work Angel and his crew did. I had a lot of holes throughout my house due to hvac work that I had done and I was dreading having to do the drywall work. Angel gave one of the most competitive quotes of the several I gathered and was available within the timeframe I needed, his crew came a week earlier than he originally said which was even better. They did a pretty good job trying to protect everything from the dust drywall creates and the end result looks like the walls and ceiling were never tore up in the first place. One thing that they could have done better is cleaning up afterwards, there was some drywall plaster that was on my glass door and a few paint spots that probably transferred from a wet spot on their clothes while they were walking around removing the drop cloth and floor protectors. I would hire them again read more

I sent a request out via the Yelp app in the afternoon. Angel responded later that day. We were able to set up an appt the next day.Angel took notes of the repairs I require and sent an estimate within 48 hours. We agree on the estimate . His start date was 2 weeks from the initial estimate. Angel,Omar and other crew members came out did the majority of the work in 2 days. Day 3 was sanding, cleanup and final inspection by Angel They did a great job replacing drywall, patching , and installing new ceiling in the upstairs bedroom. read more

This is the second time in five years I've worked with Angel and his amazing crew. They've painted outdoor shutters, windows, pediments and awnings on our house and indoors they prepped and painted bathrooms, bedrooms and hallways. Angel is highly professional. He not only wants to deploy his crew (there were 5-6 people working on our smallish-medium sized job) effectively, but he wants to ensure the disruption to customers' time and space is minimal. Angel came every day, sometimes twice to check on the progress and make sure everything was being completed to our satisfaction, leaving the fabulous Omar in charge the 9 plus hours they were there every day. Communication over the phone or text was always prompt. Each day, the job site was tidied up, and, after the job was complete, our bedroom and bathroom was cleaner than it had been in a long time. Pricing is extremely fair as well. Even though five years had gone by since we last hired Angel, the quality of work was just as good. It says a lot that Angel has been able to grow and strengthen his business over the last half decade, continuing to inspire loyalty and commitment in his employees and customers. read more

This is the third time I used Angel's service in the last five years. Angel and his crew always delivered. I hired his company to paint and repair my rental apartment a week ago. They painted the kitchen cabinet doors to white. They painted the whole apartment and fixed the cracked ceiling. They installed new light bar in the bathroom and changed all the face plates of the outlets. In other words, he fixed everything that looked wrong in the apartment and got everything done on time. In the end, the apartment looks pristine. I will continue use his services in the future. read more

My husband and I have been extremely pleased with the reasonable estimates and quality work that Angel's team has provided at our 3 BR, 2.5 BATH condo and our 5BR, 5 BATH single family home (both in the city). The drywall repair (major) at the home was done fastidiously and quickly. The painting of the entire condo (including doors and trim) was done precisely and within the timeframe Angel promised. The laying of the waterproof vinyl plank flooring on an entire floor (multiple closets and small spaces included) was neatly done. We have future work scheduled with Angel's team and are so pleased to have found them. Also, Angel checks in frequently to ask about details, even small ones, that he wishes to clarify. His team has been very polite and friendly. read more

I reached out to Angel, after I fired my former contractor after 2 weeks of no progress and just being unreliable. Angel came over the same day and had 2 of his guys to begin work on my rental property. After that first visit, each day of the week (4 weeks), Angel and crew worked onsite and completed rehab work on schedule as planned. Angel provides good quality craftsmanship, very reliable, answers/ responds to text/calls anytime. I also appreciate, Angel honesty, with letting you know, if you need to replace something or just keep as is with a little sanding, patching, painting to look new. So, he's always looking for ways to keep the owner cost low. What i learned in this process, don't cut corners to save some dollars, when selecting a contractor. Don't make the mistake I made, by hiring someone unreliable and not having a crew. Just hire Angel Painters, even if you are paying a bit more. At least you could rest at night, knowing the work is getting done for a great value. read more

Be sure you check on the pricing beforehand. If you are doing drywall patching, he may charge per hole. Instead of for the whole job.

10 STARS out of 10. Angel runs a great crew of tradesmen. I hired Angel to prep, sand, fill, and then lay down a weatherproof stain on my 2 story porch with a roof overhang. Angel was easy to make arrangements with, he returned texts quickly, and picked up the phone when I called. His quotes are fair and competitive. He sent over a crew of 5, not 2 or 3 ... and they finished the project on budget and on time. Put it this way, I'm already passing Angel's phone number and contact info on to my friends that need the services he offers. Truly 10 STARS! read more

Great service and quality. We'll definitely have them back for more painting jobs. Thank you!

Very poor quality. Angel's Painting was hired to paint newly-built wood stairs, railing and entry porch last Fall 2023. Job was for primer and two coats of paint. The painter applied a single coat of paint, applied with a small thin roller (no brush). After a mild winter, the white paint has chipped off on the stairs, landing and bannister. The painter received his instructions from Angel, spoke no English, and left after one coat of paint. read more

I highly recommend Angel for his painting services. He said he has over 10 years in the painting business, and it shows in the quality of work he did. He was right on time for the inspection and the day of painting. I had him and his team paint a 20 foot wall that has large windows. In addition to painting, I made a request for him to clean the windows as well. He was more than happy to oblige. His quote was competitive and will use him for future projects!. read more

We needed our hard to access third floor exterior window frame painted and caulked. Angel and his team were very professional, on time, thoroughly cleaned up after the job and thanked us for the business. The job required some additIonal woodworking repairs that were completed for a nominal fee. I am very happy with Angel's recent work on my condo! I had three bedrooms and a ceiling in need of some painting on a tight timeline (a week before I moved in to my new home). Angel was incredibly responsive and got back to me right away with a quote. His pricing was competitive, and his quick follow up made it a no-brainer to hire he and his team. He showed up promptly--as others have noted--for a consult, and his online quote was spot on. He was available the following day, so I just had to get the paint colors to him. What really impressed me is how on the ball and hard-working he is. I was delayed getting the paint colors I wanted to him, but he managed to purchase the paint first thing the next morning and still made it to my condo on time. Further, it took me about an hour after he finished to get back to the condo and pay him. He was patient, courteous and very understanding--Angel has an incredible knack for customer service. Above all, Angel and his team did incredible work! They are neat, detail-oriented, professional and on-the-ball! They started the work at 8:00 and finished around 3. They protected the floors, and the space was left in pristine condition. I will absolutely be using Angel's services in the future. He is dependable, honest, hard-working, priced fairly and does superb work. read more
