This relates to what comes across as current communication issues. And if I come to Yelp and highlight the good, it is only fair to also highlight when an experience with a company... is not good. I do not have a problem with a business being busy. That is a good problem for a business to have. My issue comes, when instead of saying you are busy, the business continually makes appts or followups they do not keep. At that point you do something I have a problem with, you waste the one thing none of us can afford to waste, you waste time. In this case you waste my time and that, especially when you do it repeatedly, I find annoying and unprofessional. If you can't do a job, say that, I am happy to give business to others. I had to listen to one particular drip so long that it gave me nightmares. I even had a basement flood that cost me $15,000 because of the gutters being messed up. But every single person I hired insisted they were correctly cleaned and aligned and that I was asking for too much. For $150 The Gutter Guys ACTUALLY cleaned and aligned the gutters PROPERLY. They threw in new screws to hold the downspouts together and re-secured them to the exterior walls. I have been telling everyone to hire these guys. I didn't even have to be home when they did their thing. I just left a check taped to my front door. They cleaned up after themselves and left my front porch looking better than before they showed up. From now on it's them and only them.

Working with One Day Roofing for a new 1300 sq ft roof with gutter covers done to my house in…read moreArnold, MD was the most amazing and efficient experience and saved us thousands of dollars for the top quality of products! The sales rep clearly knew the entire roofing business and their competition, and offered an insightful demonstration of all products to be used during the entire roof replacement process. It was clear this was the highest technology in materials under the shingles, superior shingles, and a ridge vent system that will not leak over time like aluminium ones through the nails. The roof is guaranteed under a full coverage warranty (including our solar panels!) for 50 years! And will probably last longer than that. The final price was unbelievable from ODR compared to other top league material and installation roof companies. Installation day for our roof happened entirely start to finish in 6 hours with no mess at all, fully swept afterwards over the yard with a metal detector. I spoke with the project manager almost every minute of the entire project, checking all materials unloaded, going up in the attic for inspection, talking about the process, all treated very professionally and very informative. Gutter covers were installed a few days later in a matter of minutes and work fantastically (full hard metal covering with holes). ABOVE AND BEYOND! Our shed out back had some leak that we could not identify. The SALES REP was incredibly nice and inspected the shed and determine that the ridge vent was at fault, and it's replacement was added into the contract. On the day of installation, extra of the same ridge vent used on my roof replaced the aluminium on the shed top. A solar vent fan was also added into the contract to promote air flow through the attic, ALSO, during the installation, I went onto my deck with a hammer to repair some loose nails and boards on the railings. Seeing me struggle, one of the workers walked onto the deck with me with a handful of nails and began to fix that warped board, just straight from his heart! I heard him say to his manager a bit later "I did it because it's what I'm good at, I wanted to help". So...yes, I'm a real person. I had the most amazing experience with this company. This is my first house ever purchased (1971) and had an original roof in dire need of replacement.
