So the snow/ice storm caused my gutter to buckle and a part of my down sprout fell off. Ive used Aerotech in the past, with excellent results, so I decided to give them a call for a free quote. Booking was easy, since you can pay your deposit and final amount online. Appointments are made online as well. You dont have to be home when they do the job either. When the tech came out to view and provide the quote, he recommended I get snow guards and to help in the event we get another ice storm so thats whay I did. I never do reviews but I have to for this. my kids bought me an hour of flight time. I showed up and everyone was nice and informative. My instructor was Jack. he was exceptional. we went into his office and went over the plan for the flight. he went over the cockpit instrumentation and control details. Jack walked me through the pre flight check answering all of my questions. I have some experience and Jack made me fill comfortable with his confidence and direction. The flight was amazing. Jack allowed me to perform maneuvers based on my comfort level and talked me through all of my questions with extreme professionalism. I must take this time to express my extreme displeasure with the "service" received today. I have never received notice that anyone was coming by at any point in my contract. From install to cleaning. It's disruptive and confusing when strangers show up to your house, and I addressed that with more than one employee since my contract in September 2021. Most importantly, the two boys who arrived at 4:19 pm cursed the entire time, did not use a ladder but hoisted each other up onto my roof by hand, stared into the camera, and were disgustingly rude. Literally on their phones cursing and laughing and stomping on my roof. I'm outraged that they would employ people like this, and I am truly furious that my children heard them on the camera. I could not be more upset. Terrible employees. Would never recommend. Wish I read more reviews rather than take one person's suggestion. Every time they clean my gutters they make an ungodly mess. They basically throw everything from the gutters onto the decks, walkways, garden beds, plants and driveway. Every time. Regardless of the fact that the property was mulched the week before, AEROTECH will destroy it. They are very apologetic. Then they do it again. And again. Come winter, pray the gutters aren't frozen since they will toss large chunks of frozen leaves and ice down on the shrubs, plants, , and irrigation system. Like every other service provider, they have never taken responsibility for their damage yet. Go elsewhere if you like your property, and want it treated well. Most amazing is that after providing photos of the damage and estimates to repair the damage, at Aerotech's request. The AEROTECH representative made very clear he thought I was lying, I.e. I had made up the photo's and the estimate, which he had asked for. I never asked for the damage to be paid for, since companies like this never take responsibility for the damage they do. Why ask for evidence and estimates if you aren't interested in taking responsibility. I asked them to politely stop harassing me at this point. Bad gutter cleaners are a dime a dozen. read more

Service is generally good. But once you are on their yearly contract, they increase the price every single year. I believe I started out at $75/per gutter cleaning. This year they want $107.25!!! Which is over $10 more per gutter cleaning for the year. So, highly disappointed in their pricing. Even before the pandemic they increase their pricing every year for no reason. So for this reason, I am most likely cancelling this year. I typically get my gutters cleaned 4 x year (3 in fall and 1 in spring). read more

a technician just blew the dirt from my neighbor's gutters all over the street. that is not cleaning up!

Over the last 3 years I have multiple issues. They would miss cleanings, double charge for service, leave cleaning tubes outside my garage that caused tire damage, and with the purchased of new gutters received free cleanings, which were never provided. Do not do business with this company!! Each time I would complain they would apologize then do the same. After no service for 6 months I found out they stopped serving my home because they stated I was upset with them. Yes, I was, however not to be decent to send a cancellation. They still owe me monies for service not rendered. FIND ANOTHER COMPANY. Not this company. Also, my neighbors asked me who cleans my gutters. It is unfortunate that I had to tell them to stay away from this company. So, in turn they not only treated me poorly, even though I kept giving them chances but now they won't have me as a customer, they won't have my neighbors. I had a contract with Aerotech for four annual cleanings (which I will not be renewing). I have suspected for some time that they were not coming and I was just paying them. Not once have I seen them, noticed that they were there orrrr been told by a neighbor that they had come and believe me in my neighborhood this would have happen! This could be taken as a good thing if the work was being done. I voiced my concerns over the phone with a rep. a few months back and I was told "oh no sir we use GPS and spot checks". Well I guess the driver has been parking in my neighborhood and they need to do more spot checks because my gutters haven't been cleaned in some time, despite being told they were cleaned 2 times since fall. Yesterday I confirmed my concerns, I removed the drain pipes at the end of the gutters and they were jammed with debris, not how these tubes should look after having your "gutters cleaned 4 times in one year. These pipes also should have been cleaned with each cleaning so either I got a lot of leaves and debris over the past 2 months since the last cleaning or I have been duped. I'm betting on being duped! Don't get duped go with another outfit. Pics attached.. UPDATE: Since writing my original review Aerotech has reached out in an attempt to correct the situation. I could not be more pleased with the issue resolution. I'm currently giving Aerotech another opportunity to make things right. The service was good enough to make me go from 1 start (really no stars) to a solid 3. Lets see if the service can live up to the support. I will keep updating. I feel like the dispatch that I spoke to or the office were lovely....but they sent out this guy David. He showed up on time but assessed my gutters only using a mirror. At some point during this estimate my girlfriend showed up to drop off dinner while she was out running errands. David commented "she must be here for you.l, she's too cute to be here for me!" Ok cringe. So it was about 100 degrees out, so I let my friend in and out the food in the fridge. David rang the doorbell and again commented "I know she's cute but we got business to attend to sweetheart" - ok cringe again, and also I'm pretty turned off by men talking to me this way. I do the house stuff in my household for a reason, I'm way handier than my husband don't talk down to me and comment on the way my friend looks. Then he tried to sell me gutters. I responded with "thanks but that's going to have to be a future problem to address because we are going through a lot of unexpected renovations as the prior owners didn't take care of this home at all". At this point David got very defensive. He told me pricing would be sent to me based on a year contract. I asked if we could get pricing for a one time cleaning and he said "no. This is a family business and we wouldn't make any money that way" They quoted decent prices $70/cleaning but with only the option of quarterly cleaning, which I accept is probably best, but we have no trees over our home and I think we are fine with twice yearly (lol also considering the gutters had probably never been cleaned). We finally contacted ** another** local roofing and gutter company. They reinforced our gutters, told me they're in completely functional condition, fixed a dent in a gutter that Aerotech did notice-but told me my only option was replacement. Then cleaned completely. Though I liked the $70/cleaning price, I felt like I'd rather pay double than have David return to my home. read more

Lots of problems with this company. Although they are inexpensive, they rarely show up when scheduled and once they claimed to have showed up, they did not. You have to keep track of them, and make sure they leave a sticker as evidence that they were at my home. I will not renew my contract with them. read more

This firm does a very good job using a unique way of cleaning the gutters. They use leaf blowers and long tubes work reach the gutters and it seems to well! I have since found a local handyman to come and clean my gutters for me and no longer use Aerotech. I did so mostly because Aerotech's pricing structure changed and I think it is more expensive than before. I'm still giving it 5 stars because I never really had any problems with them. The one time I was not satisfied with their cleaning, they sent their crew out and did it again. The customer service is good. Just price shop around and make sure it's a good value for what you want. Also, this is a total aside, do yourself a favor and DON'T install screen gutters. This company does not really clean the gutters. Twice I have been at home when a yellow flag was left indicating that the service was performed. We did not see any technician completing the work. There was no noise from the ladder going up, and no debris left at all. When I took my down spouts apart, they were clogged with debris. Very disappointed and will be terminating my yearly contract. I do not recommend this company at all. They need to perform spot checks to be sure the technicians are actually doing the work. They are losing customers because of this ongoing problem. read more

I really like this service and highly recommend them. The cost is reasonable. They are fast, efficient and thorough. The guys have all been friendly and helpful The only reason that I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that sometimes the debris left is more than that of my previous service. Furthermore, when your crew initially came out several weeks ago, they were completely ill-prepared to remove the screens from the gutters, both of which you all installed. Makes absolutely no sense. Considering all of the business I have given you all personally and by way of referrals via our HOA Vendor List over the years, I am appalled by the lack of professionalism by Aerotech Gutter Services. We've been using AGS for over 6 years, have never had a problem with our gutters, as well. The $90 per quarter, which involves a short 10 minutes for someone to inspect all the gutters for debris, clear any debris, insure that all gutters and downspouts are secure, and report any defects to prevent water problems, is high, but has value if done correctly. I was home for our most recent cleaning on March 29th. I heard the ladder hit the house close to the room I was in. The "tech" was up and down and gone in 5 minutes. 2 days later I noticed that several gutter nails were popping out, something the "tech" should check every visit. It seems apparent that AGS does not monitor their "techs", nor do they solicit feedback. Up until the March 29th cleaning I trusted these guys. Now I'm definitely suspicious of the thoroughness of the $90 visits that last 10 minutes at most. AGS, are you listening? read more

I am not going slam Aerotech just give everyone a warning. I think this company has taken on too many customers and they're not able to service them all in a reasonable period of time. We have been a customer for 4 years and have been satisfied since we did not have any issues. We waited a little longer this year to sign up again for the annual service and it has been over a month now and they have still not been able to clean our gutters. I called over a week ago indicating that we really need the gutters cleaned and they still have not been to our house. After significant rainfall and issues around our house I ended up buying a ladder at home depot ($124) to get the lower gutters since each rainfall was causing problems. I will inspect their work this time because I suspect they're understaffed and may not do a quality job. I just hope they do not see my nice clean lower gutters and think the upper ones do not need attention. read more

Closeout: They finally came on June 17th and did a great job. We are prior customers and that is the quality we expected. Changed my rating from 1 to 2 stars but customer service and communication is important. We didn't receive any email or communication to address our concerns. I came home from work and it was done. Come on now, please try to do better! Update: On June 11 we received an email saying they'd clean our gutters on June 12. At 4 pm on June 12 we called and they confirmed service was coming. On June 13th the Amazon rainforest continues its skyward growth. Sadly, still no communication from the company. Original: Horrible customer service!! Our gutter cleaning was scheduled for May 28th. That day came and went with no contact from Aerotech, no apology, nothing. We called the next day and was told they overbooked and we'd receive another email to reschedule. We waited a few days, received no email, and called again--same answer. We waited a few more days, it is now over a week since they originally missed service, so we called again and was told the issue would be referred to the "scheduling manager". Guess what, we have the Amazon rain forest taking root in our gutter and we are still waiting for some response. You call the company's number and speak to a call center person who can't really assist. They are a bargain rate for a reason, you get what you pay for. Save yourself the headache, spend a few more bucks, and go with a better company! Aerotech we want our money back and will give our business to someone else! read more

We had Aerotech do their first cleaning and they were great. We had some gutters that were totally clogged, after the cleaning they all ran clear. They even came back a week later to further clean out one that drained into the ground. They cleaned up and didn't damage any of our landscaping. read more

I had Aerotech come out for a problem with overflow several years ago. The technician recommended replacing a second of the gutter and a down spot, and rehang the rest. I was very happy with that service. Fast forward 4 years. I decided to replace the rest, and asked for another quote. I was given a high quote, and asked for another, leaving out the section that was already done. I was told to redo that portion, and it was not guaranteed. Seriously? You don't think your own work can hold up 4 years? In addition, the quote minus the segment was HIGHER than the one for the whole house, given that there would not be any fee cleaning or lifetime warranty. I was completely prepared to have them do the rest of the house, but if they don't believe in their own product, why should I? read more

HORRIBLE. Had good service for a couple years, then I had the same issues as some of the people below. They would leave a yellow flag saying they cleaned the gutters when I could see out my top windows the gutters were still clogged with leaves. The last straw was in the end of 2017, when they came out a month early for the quarterly cleaning. There were no leaves! I called them and they said I would not be charged and they would schedule somebody for the appropriate time, a month later. Instead, somebody came out one whole week later "cleaned the gutters" (of course there were no leaves), and then they charged me for both of those visits. I refused to pay and they sent me to collections!!!! read more

I had their service plan for a year and was very satisfied. The following year I was going through a divorce and did not know if I was going to keep my house. I asked them simply to do 1 cleaning until I knew if I needed them for the entire year (rather than prepay a few hundred dollars for the year long contract, which I could not afford). They told me flat out NO, and if I wanted a one-time to contact the better business bureau to see if anyone could give me a 1 time! If their office is far from the city, they should not have taken the job in the first place. I had a major damage on the corner of my garage gutter and for several months had at least seven contractors to look at it. None was able to help or wanted to change the whole system which was expensive!! Until by accident I found Aerotech on line. I am glad I did. Their estimator was there next day and spent the time to explain details about what needs to be done. Their price was right and THE BEST for the work. I have an annual contract with Aerotech Gutter Services in Washington DC area. I will not be renewing it. I do not believe that their crew actually performs the work they are supposed to. I have several specific indicators for this: 1. I can look out at one portion of my gutters and know that it has not been cleaned for several months. 2. Although they are supposed to leave a flag or a note when they have cleaned the gutter, they do not do so. 3. The receptionist who answers the phone is totally unresponsive. When I asked her to let me know when the crew is supposed to come to my home (and I do not ask for exact time, just the day) she refused to do so. We have many maintenance contracts (e.g. pest control) where the service provider can work without our presence but when asked, no service provider ever refuses to let us know when they plan to come to our home. This seems like deliberate aversion to being held accountable. 4. When I asked to speak to a manager she said he is out on the site and cannot talk to me. But did not tell me if/when he can call back. It seemed like she simply did not care to be responsive to my concerns. ----------------------------- Update: After I posted this review I received a call from the president of the company and he sent over a technician within a few hours. The technician was very good and took care of the gutter cleaning, he also pointed out where there were some problems. I appreciate this and have upgraded by rating to 3 from 1.
