Working with One Day Roofing for a new 1300 sq ft roof with gutter covers done to my house in Arnold, MD was the most amazing and efficient experience and saved us thousands of dollars for the top quality of products! The sales rep clearly knew the entire roofing business and their competition, and offered an insightful demonstration of all products to be used during the entire roof replacement process. It was clear this was the highest technology in materials under the shingles, superior shingles, and a ridge vent system that will not leak over time like aluminium ones through the nails. The roof is guaranteed under a full coverage warranty (including our solar panels!) for 50 years! And will probably last longer than that. The final price was unbelievable from ODR compared to other top league material and installation roof companies. Installation day for our roof happened entirely start to finish in 6 hours with no mess at all, fully swept afterwards over the yard with a metal detector. I spoke with the project manager almost every minute of the entire project, checking all materials unloaded, going up in the attic for inspection, talking about the process, all treated very professionally and very informative. Gutter covers were installed a few days later in a matter of minutes and work fantastically (full hard metal covering with holes). ABOVE AND BEYOND! Our shed out back had some leak that we could not identify. The SALES REP was incredibly nice and inspected the shed and determine that the ridge vent was at fault, and it's replacement was added into the contract. On the day of installation, extra of the same ridge vent used on my roof replaced the aluminium on the shed top. A solar vent fan was also added into the contract to promote air flow through the attic, ALSO, during the installation, I went onto my deck with a hammer to repair some loose nails and boards on the railings. Seeing me struggle, one of the workers walked onto the deck with me with a handful of nails and began to fix that warped board, just straight from his heart! I heard him say to his manager a bit later "I did it because it's what I'm good at, I wanted to help". So...yes, I'm a real person. I had the most amazing experience with this company. This is my first house ever purchased (1971) and had an original roof in dire need of replacement. We knew nothing about roofs before we met One Day Roofing, and now we are experts, and we are very, very happy with our purchase. 6 stars if I could. read more

So we got the vent over oven fixed.. mind you we got this roof on dec 4th 2023, soo roof was fixed on Thursday Feb 1 2024 Saturday the 3rd shingles are breaking above porch,and another vent/ shingles are completely laid back.. so now it's Sunday the 4th and on Monday we can call and get someone else out here to fix again... 1st pymt due mon Feb 5th,and on this same day iv already going to have to file my 2nd warranty claim... Very shoddy workmanship. Shingles were supposed to be charcoal grey, some of mine a literally green, flashing is a poop brown, who does that? When asking about the color on the flashing I was told " well that's all they had at the warehouse" keep in mind, the application for instal was made 6 no in advance. Had a leak 18 months after install. When calling them for repairs it took over 2 weeks for anyone to show up with a caulking gun. Flat roofs should not have shingles. After I told them I want it fixed right they refused to come back and told me if I wanted them to come back going forward I would have to pay $1500 up front. Regardless of the warranty. Customer Statement Three months ago, on September 4th, my area experienced a heavy downpour. I went to my kitchen and was startled to notice rain dripping from my ceiling, upon which I immediately contacted One Day Roofing and spoke with Nathan around 5:00 - 5:30 pm. He asked for my name, verified me as customer, confirmed that my roof was still under warranty, and told me that someone was going to be dispatched to examine it. To clarify this statement, Nathan reassured me that someone from One Day Roofing would call to make an appointment, and arrive at my home the same day. My husband arrived from work during this conversation, and when I handed him the phone, Nathan confirmed the same thing: that we should wait from a call from One Day Roofing. It never happened; we never received a call-back. The following Monday, I called again and recorded detailed message on the answering machine. I received no call-backs. On the 8th, I called One Day Roofing again, and spoke with Eric. Eric proceeded to inform me that Nathan hadn't made a note of the conversation I'd had with him on the 4th, so there was no record for Eric to refer to. He asked for my name, telephone number, address, verifying that One Day had installed the roof, and told me he'd check with a manager, who'd quickly get in touch with me. No call-backs. No one got in touch with me. We experienced another very heavy downpour on the 17th of September. Rain was now gushing through the roof, displacing the plaster on the ceiling, which was now falling in wet chunks. The water was dripping through the ventilation fan on my stovetop. I rushed to call tried to call One Day Roofing and let them know--I'd reached Nathan again--that the rain was getting through. More rain, and an alarming amount of damage. Nathan realized the importance of what was saying, and once again reassured me that someone would get through to me. I waited. Nothing. Whenever I call, it goes straight to voicemail. It seems like, when my number is recognized, my phone calls are deliberately ignored. On Friday, December the 4th, I spoke with the receptionist, Chris Lang. who told me Matthew was in a meeting and that he'd call back. I tried again hours later, when Matthew didn't return my call. Little did I know the first step, according to them, was the 'pre-approval' process. I tried to talk to them about financing options and costs, but never made it past them wanting all my personal information. And the 3-5 calls a day from them is a little annoying. For my roof replace shingles. I asked Rolando how long it would take to repay my loan, before looking at contract, he told me a couple years. After looking at contract, I discovered. It would take 180 months to pay off a 30.000 loan!! Glad I came to my senses before signing anything! I'm a 66yr old senior citizen. Woman. He asked if I had a man around to help me understand. I told him no, all I had was Google. Then he told me about his proposal, and saying he was helping me with a loan. Implying I should be grateful. A loan from a shady finance company with awful reviews. That in the end would cost me 30.000 for a roof, that I later got an estimate from Catamount roofing in Reidsville NC., for 8.ooo. dollars. Big difference in price. He tried to scare me, asking what I would do without a roof? I told him I was waiting for a grant to pay for my roof. He replied, no one ever gets money from grants. Untrue.. I signed a contract on 8/3/2020 with One-Day Roofing to pay $1,500 for 3 windows. They sent a technician to my home to measure the windows on 8/18/20, and then I heard nothing for weeks. When I called the installation number, I learned they were reneging on the contract. In a phone call with the owner on 11/11/20, he said they would lose money on my job, so they weren't going to do it. He said they had a legal right to cancel the contract. Amazing since it's my understanding I would have only a 3-day waiting period in which to cancel after I signed the contract and then I would be held to the contract. My suggestion is to be incredibly careful in dealing with this company. read more

Homeowners beware! They completed my roof in March and parts of it are coming apart already. Flashing lifting up, gutter hanging, fascia uneven, not all work completed as prescribed. Despite numerous calls over a few months and a written letter mailed to them, they have not returned my calls and made no effort to rectify the matter. They were paid in full, so I guess there is no incentive to return and complete the job properly. Do not use them. Several of my neighbors got new roofs this year, and none of them experienced any of the issues that I have encountered with One Day Roofing.
