    Custom shower

I wrote a review before but for an unknown reason it doesn't post on main page. I hope this gets noticed. I'm truly satisfied with this contractor. Santos was very accommodating to my remodeling needs. Our 1950s home required a complete bathroom renovation ( pipes, floors, closet). Santos took my project quickly and now I have a beautiful main floor bathroom. Rudolfo and Renaldo were on time everyday. They were neat and tidy when leaving. He was reasonably priced and I am truly happy with my new bathroom. He gave a great estimate on how long the project would last and he was in constant communication with me and or my husband. He was very courteous and his team was courteous as well. I will highly recommend this company.

We had 20 year old hardwood floors, about 700 square feet, that were sun damaged in spots and were a stain color we no longer liked. Santos Gomez gave us a reasonable estimate for that and also for some drywall repair work to a closet and a ceiling due to plumbing leaks. The team was on time, moved our larger furniture as needed, used plastic to contain the sawdust from the sanding as much as possible, stained the floor, added 2 coats of polyurethane, and replaced the shoe molding all around to match. The drywall repair was also done quite well. When I had questions, Santos was responsive. Overall, we are quite pleased with the work and I definitely recommend Gomez Contractor for home remodeling needs.

I thank you Today I hired Mr. handyman services to revision of my earlier post. The owner of handyman took care of all repairs associated with the water damage thank you very much yes we are all human and we make mistakes but they owned up to their mistakes and fixed the problem again thank you. install a vanity in my third-floor bathroom. Mr. James Ellenberger was the insulator. This company drilled right through my water pipe and flooded my house. And did not want to take responsibility until I had to get a plumber out here to figure out what the problem was and where the leak came from and sure enough it was confirmed by the licensed plumber that the installer Which works for Mr. handyman drilled right into my waterline flooded my first second and third floor. This company don't want to pay to restore my home or better yet the owner wants to sell his people to restore my home why would I trust them to do anything in my home ever in life. And this company couldn't even have the decency to refund my money for the work done considering they messed everything up again. Not only did I have to pay for them to install the vanity but now I have to pay to have my house dried out in the drywall torn up in my floors replaced because of their neglect

Extremely disappointed with the services provided and the disingenuous pricing of the work. I…read morerequested assistance with repairing a leaking sliding glass door and fixing a small hole (1.5" x 1.5") in my garage siding. I was quoted $450- $550 to fix the sliding door, and the siding repair was not included in the estimate. The repairman did not attempt to recreate the leak for the sliding door and suggested either caulking a small gap that might be the issue or replacing the entire door assembly. I said I would take care of caulking the door because I needed to clean the surfaces beforehand. We spent about 5 minutes addressing this. We then moved to the hole in the garage siding. Initially, the repairman asked if I wanted him to caulk the hole. Caulk seemed inappropriate for the repair, and I suggested using Bondo or something similar. He said he wouldn't be able to match the siding profile perfectly, but he could try. He also said he wasn't sure he could match the color, but he would take a paint chip to Lowe's to see what he could do. I understood the limitations and approved his attempt at the repair. I wish I hadn't; I would have been better off going to Lowe's, picking up some epoxy, and spending half an hour doing it myself. He said the paint chip he brought in wasn't big enough to color match, so he got a can of spray paint that looked close. I approved him to try it nonetheless and again, wish I hadn't. After finishing the job, the repairman gave me the invoice and said he came in at the low end of $450, which was confusing to me because that was the estimate for repairing the sliding door; we hadn't discussed an estimate for repairing the hole in the garage. I addressed this directly and was met with the response that "I have no control over the pricing, I just punch it in the computer, and it gives me a total." After including the cost of the spray paint and the credit card processing fee, the bill was $534.20 for a poorly executed repair of a 1.5" x 1.5" hole in some metal siding. That's absolutely insane. I would caution against using this company's services due to the poor workmanship and the predatory pricing. I tried calling to address this issue, but I couldn't reach anyone other than an AI phone agent.

Shlomo was patient and offered his input as we figured out what design and materials we wanted. His team was able to move an outlet, build and install the shelving and cabinets, and mount the TV. We are very happy with how it turned out! Just a note that they specialize in custom work and keep a busy calendar so it may take some months from start to finish. Our project took even longer due to holidays and other work being done at our house. The price was higher than other companies we got quotes from due to the custom work but we felt it was well worth the quality!

From the moment we reached out, Shlomo was prompt, responsive, and understanding of first-time homeowners on their first project. Shlomo came to our house and walked through with me the two concepts I had in mind. He asked key questions that helped better shape the ideas, took the necessary measurements, then followed up in short order with a clear proposal and quote. The pricing was competitive and within our budget. Once we decided to move forward, the team delivered on the carpentry faster than we expected. Max and the team who did the carpentry were friendly and understanding of two tired parents who had to work in the house through the day. The work they performed was impeccable. The final product? 1) Built-in bookshelves with a table-height counter and drawers below: a showstopper and the new centerpiece of our living room; and 2) a ceiling-high pantry cabinet in our kitchen, attached to a new counter with a built-in garbage/recycling drawer. We are thrilled with the quality of these pieces, which have truly made our new home our own. If you are looking for cabinetry work in the DC-area, we unequivocally recommend you go with "As It Should Be." They will do great work for you.
