Jose from JNA Construction came out this morning to clean my chimney. He was on time, very professional, courteous and did an excellent job. I burn two cords of wood each year which, as expected, leaves my chimney very dIrty. Over the past eighteen years I have had my chimney cleaned each summer. I have engaged three different firms for this but JNA, by far, has been the best! Jose from JNA is now my "Go To" chimney cleaner from here on out. read more

This company deserves 10 stars. Smoke started filling up the basement when using the fireplace. Jose was very professional, he cleaned the chimney, taking away a large bag of debris that had adhered to the chimney walls. He advised on installing a flue liner, a solution that would address once for all potential problems in the future -but without pressuring us. Our home was built in 1933, so we are considering it. I would strongly recommend JNA Chimney services. read more

Excellent service at a fair price! The owner does everything himself, and he was very kind and explained everything that he did. read more

Had a wonderful experience with JNA! They came out to clean and inspect my wood stove. Great communication from start to finish - responded via Yelp and got me in the next day; sent a text 30 minutes prior as agreed. Payment was easy with no surprises. The person who came was pleasant, asked about any issues I had and was thorough, paying attention to details. I mentioned issues with recent fires causing smoke, so he took initiative to light a fire and ensure that this issue was resolved. He also told me that if I had any future issues to feel free to reach out. Will use again! read more

Super friendly and efficient. Really nice folks who came promptly. Also a great price.

We hired Jose and he did an amazing job on our brick walls ,pillars and repairing cracked brick/ mortar on the side of our home. Jose and his helper were efficient and knowledgeable and despite the heat they had to work in the finished project looks amazing. Thank you so much. We will definitely recommend your company to friends and family. God bless. read more

We got an estimate done and approved over a month ago. No work done. No consistent contact since. Three weeks after approving the initial estimate to begin the work, we were finally able to reach someone by phone. I was told then that an additional email was sent regarding the warranty of the work to be performed. We never received it. Still haven't received it. I was informed during that call that the work wasn't covered for waterproofing. The whole point of needing the work done, was to repair damage that is causing a water leak. Then I was told I would be contacted by Jose for scheduling. Never was. Then I was told I would be informed of a scheduled date to begin the work within a few days. That was over a week ago. Nobody called, calls go straight to voice mail. Good luck, I wouldn't give them money before anything is started. If it's this difficult to recieve communication to begin a job, I can only imagine how bad it is if something goes wrong with a job. Especially since it won't be covered under warranty. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Jose was the first responder to my quote inquiry and subsequent messages. Asked to arrive earlier became of a cancellation. His PRICING WAS VERY FAIR to clean gutters/downspouts and install the $70 gutter guards from Costco. Jose informed me of the roofing material (nails and shingles) from the roof replacement...the previous owner replaced the roof as part of the sale...lesson learned to check. He also said the aluminum gutter guards from Costco were good. He nailed these down in addition to using the 3M strip that was provided. Jose emailed pics of the completed job (attached). read more

Jose was very quick to respond when I reached out to inquire about gutter cleaning service rates. His was the best rate I've found. We agreed to a date and time, and he showed up on the date & on time ready to get the job done. He was courteous, reliable, and timely. Would recommend him to friends & family, and would also do business with him again in the future. Thank you for our clean gutters, Jose! read more

JNA did a great job of repairing our chimney and replacing the chimney box for our furnace. We had gotten a recommendation from another company that the chimney needed to be torn down to the roofline, but Jose was able to spot cut and rebuild the uppermost portion, replace the cement crown, and point the rest of it for a very fair price. He took photos of everything to include with the report to show what needed to be done and the completed work. (Very helpful since this was a rental property and we do not live nearby.) They were able to work within our budget and timeframe to complete the repairs before we had a new roof put on. They were very responsive to all my emails. Would definitely recommend JNA and will use them again in the future! read more

We sought out a contractor to provide a second quote on a complete chimney rebuild and JNA came out nearly $1500 less than the original estimate received. My chimney and fireplace insert hadn't been cleaned in a couple years. Since my husband passed away recently, it's sometimes hard for me to find good help. JNA Chimney Services did an excellent job. Jose was very careful to ensure there was absolutely no dirt left when he finished. The fireplace insert is working better than it has in years! Jose also found a potential problem with the masonary seal on the fireplace bricks on the roof. If not repaired soon, there will be a leak(s). He even took photos so I could see the problem. read more

We highly recommend Jose and his team. They did an excellent job fixing our deteriorating chimney and pointing up our entire 3-story back wall! Jose responded to my quote request quickly and came out to look at our chimney and back wall within a couple of days. We had several people come out and selected JNA because they walked us through the process, didn't rush, made recommendations, gave us a reasonable quote with a clear proposal of the work, and were available to do the work quickly. Leading up to and during the work, they communicated quickly and clearly, showed up on time, and got a ton done every day. They cleaned up the debris, and left everything in proper order. Most importantly, the work was done thoroughly well, and with no stress for us. The whole process was really straight forward, simple, and quick. Many thanks, Jose and team. read more

Jose came out the next morning as promised. He did a great job, very professional. Would definitely hire again!

Did the inspection and repair of our chimney very efficiently. Provided a lot of options for different budget. Would use service again.

My gutter downspout needed repair, and I was hoping for a timely appointment after another company offered scheduling a week away. Jose was able to come to my house within a few hours of my inquiry, and on Labor Day no less. Excellent and professional work, and when I asked for a quote on another job, he was able to add on that service on the spot. Highly recommend. read more

Jose & Alejandra are two of the nicest people you will ever meet & work with. From start to finish was a great experienc. Alejandra's due diligence and visits to the incompetent Baltimore County Department of Permits for two months proves she is a great asset to the company. She communicated with me every step of the way. Jose's devotion to his profession is quite apparent in making sure the project was to both of our satisfactions. He also communicated very well during the building project & will definitely use him again if needed. read more

I was very pleased with this company. I hired them to do some gutter work, connecting downspouts from upper roof to the lower roof gutters. They were willing to provide an estimate based on my description of the work and a couple of photos. Their estimate was very reasonable. Jose arrived on the scheduled day and time. He completed the work in a timely manor and I was very happy with the results. I recommend this company and Jose. read more

They were so good and honest with my initial request that I have asked them to do additional repairs/updates

Jose responded quickly to our request for chimney cleaning after our most recent use of the fireplace left our house with a strong smoke smell. Jose was able to come out the next business day to clean and inspect our chimney where he found a number of issues. He is kind and did a great job cleaning. He left the interior of our fireplace room spotless after taking great care to keep everything tidy. We are very likely to do more work with Jose in the future. Definitely recommend him! read more

Jose was here doing work around the house. Did a fantastic job would highly recommend!

Would've been a 5 star, but they were very late arriving. However, the chimney cleaning was very thorough, and no mess was made.

We needed a chimney clean and inspection. Jose was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and did the job cleanly and professionally. Would definitely recommend. read more

A technician arrived on time at 8am on a Saturday. They were polite and efficient with their time. The inspection was honest and had a fair price. When they showed me a heavy amount of deposits in my chimney, they quoted me a fair price to clean it. The left my home clean and bagged all the deposits. I would hire them again. read more

Great response, good price on a chimney liner and flue replacement. They came on a weekend to get the job done, and worked until it was done. They came back during snow and ice to complete the install. One slight flaw in the clean out door they installed, it slants slightly. Otherwise, they are top notch and we are happy to have found them. We look forward to working with them in the years to come for our chimney cleaning. read more

I'm a Realtor and needed to help my client find a licensed contractor to do some fire brick repairs before the closing on the sale of his property. Contactors were giving him 2-months out just to do an estimate. JNA Construction responded quickly and battled through snow and ice to come make the repair so our closing could happen on time! They did a great job on the repair and their willingness to come out despite the weather so that my clients didn't have to worry about their deal going sideways was invaluable. read more

I highly recommend JNA Chimney Services! On-time, professional service and fair pricing. We will continue to use this company in the future.

I wanted them to do the service for me another company sent their technician (that I canceled) when the other company failed miserably and didn't actually do the service I needed. I was scammed. I was so upset and disgusted. This company however came and inspected for me. The tech was kind and offered to help me where the previous company did not. Moving forward I will use them for my chimney needs. Thank you for your professionalism and support read more

Can't say enough about the quality and professional services of JNA Chimney Services. As owner, Jose is courteous, considerate, prompt, and provides above expectation, at a reasonable and affordable price by comparison. His services for restoring the chimney crown on my house included chiseling out the existing mortar(cement), relaying a new concrete crown on top with new cement(mortar), power-washing the chimney and hauling of debris. In addition, he cleaned my dryer vent and removed all trace of lint. I am so glad I found JNA Chimney Services and will likely do business again. I highly recommend JNA Chimney Services and this ambitious, confident young man. read more

We highly recommend JNA Construction! We had a few companies come out to quote our brick repair and ultimately chose JNA construction. We were really impressed by how prompt and responsive Jose was. We also loved how he explained the issue step by step and gave us a detailed quote with pictures. We also asked him to clean our dryer vent. His prices were very fair! The morning of the repair he was on time and was very communicative about the process and any issues he saw. He took great care to match the color of the original mortar and did fantastic clean work. We'll definitely call back for any future work. read more

Came out same day to provide a full inspection on the only day a home was being listed for sale; Showed up in the only window available early in the morning and got all of the necessary info. I didn't end up winning with my offer, but I did in part put one in because of being able to elminate uncertainties from JNA's work. Thank you! read more

Great and prompt company. Price was as quoted. Very responsive. The tech came out early (he had a cancelation in the area), and performed a good job. He not only cleaned the gutters but did some minor repairs to them as well at no extra cost. Im not sure what the other rates are, but for a 2 story 2000 sqft home he charged a flat fee of 185 which I thought was pretty reasonable based on the other quotes I received. read more
