We needed to rebuild and repoint all the arches of the facade of our 100+ year old brick row house. We had previously done some patch work with a handyman which needed to be removed. We needed someone who would do the work to restore with care, so that when he was done, the bricks would be laid as if it were original work. His team did the work in 8 days, as promised. When an issue came up, Eric walked us through it, and helped keep extra costs down. Stinebaugh Masonry never tried to gauge us. They also did extra, above and beyond what was contracted. They just completed the work today, and it looks great. These guys delivered quality work, exactly as promised, on time, and on budget. I found Handyman from Heaven via a referral service with my job and was so excited because I thought they would be able to help me with all the small issues I had throughout my home. The first visit went so well! I was able to get multiple things fixed and scheduled a larger job which was basically a bathroom Reno due to a leaking pipe. The work started off great and the team was really communicative. Then we ran into a small issue where I felt some work was improperly completed and wanted to work through it and that's where it all fell apart. The receptionist was extremely accusatory at first but did eventually call to apologize and I hoped things would be better. Once I talked to the owner he seemed really understanding and accommodating and even sent me a really thoughtful response as they were working though the issues with me so I had high hopes that we would fix the issue and continue on with the work, only they just stopped communicating with me completely. I would have fully understood if they came to a conclusion and explained to me why but they chose to do nothing and that was really disappointing. Now I have a half finished bathroom and construction debris that they left behind that I'm having to pay a new person to finish the work and clean up behind them. The worst part is I had already referred them to a friend of mine who needed some work done and had to go back and tell her, never mind because if you can't trust them with a minor inconvenience how can you trust them with a major job?! Through Yelp, Metavision LLC was a company that promptly inquired about our situation and offered to come and give a free estimate. The gentleman I spoke with, Brian, was very knowledgeable and professional. He came and assessed the situation and assured they would be able to resolve our leak issues. He had to check his schedule and let me know when they would be able to come for the repair. Communication was consistent by phone or text and they were able to come within 3 days. I received the invoice for the work and the amount was reasonably priced compared to the average price for the work we needed done. The day of the replacement, we were in communication before arrival, during service, and after the work was done. Brian was actually very respectful and personable. He was able to answer any questions we had and offered to assist us further if any more problems occurred. I am happy we chose this business for our repair.
