They were very reasonable and it's so easy to make an appointment online. They gave a few windows of dates to show up and once decided, they were on time. The guy who came (Rubin?) to clean the gutters was courteous, professional and did fantastic job even tough it was rather cold Jan day. He even cleared the perimeter of the house and took all the trash away! AFTER all the work was done, they send you the link for the payment. They even sent many pictures of our gutters all cleaned up on all sides! Our house is rather large with high roof so we always worry, but he did great! This company has been sold to Ned Stevens. It does not have the same quality as the original Gutter Maid in my opinion. They used to send pictures of your clean gutters after the job was complete ... I was later told on the phone, this is no longer available to all customers. They bagged some of the leaves (mud, etc.) that came out of my gutter, but not all. The leaves are left at the end of your driveway in bags. My deck was left a muddy mess. They also do not give you an exactly date and time the job will be done. You'll receive a text messages about 10 minutes before they arrive. I will NOT be using this company again. read more

Found Gutter maid through yelp. I reached out to a couple of business and decided on Guttermaid because of the favorable price point. The team quickly responsed to my initial inquiries, and was communicative throughout the entire process. I received a phone call followed by a detailed email about the details for the service, including the technician's contact information and picture so I knew who to expect at my door step. Richard arrived within the 30min window I was given, he was polite and professional. At the end of the service, he explained what was wrong and made recommendations for other services which could be scheduled with the company IF we decided to proceed. We received our invoice within 24hrs, and pictures of the before and after gutter repair within 48hrs. I would highly recommend this company! PS. The repair and cleaning was very resonable, they send you clear communications via email and I will definately be using them again!! This company no longer exists. They seem to have been sold to Ned Stevens. Ned Stevens showed up, with NO notice from Guttermaid that they were selling out and NO transitional communications. I tried every menu number on Guttermaid's phone menu and could not reach a human. The number at the bottom of the "Guttermaid" website now takes you to Ned Stevens. Like a bunch of criminals, these folks use the alias of Gutter Maid but are no longer the same company. It was acquired by Ned Stevens and now provides earth-shatteringly AWFUL service. Literally would not wish these idiots on my worst enemy. They were scheduled to appear yesterday. They did not show up and did not bother contacting us. We called and were not able to get through but left a message asking if they were still coming and when. We told them if they could not come yesterday, we would not be able to do it the next day and they would need to call to reschedule. This morning, we get a text that says they are going to come this morning. You cannot respond to the text, but have to call, so we waited on hold forever. We told the rep we finally talked to that we had two other service people coming this morning--emergency plumbing and prescheduled leaf removal--and she told us they would not come until after 2 PM. Almost right away, we get another text saying they are on their way. Once again, I call and tell them in no uncertain terms we cannot accommodate another service person this morning, let alone have them tromping all over when people are trying to remove leaves from the front and side yards and when our back yard is being dug up by the plumber. The lady I spoke to said she will "email" them, very odd not to call them, and call us if they cannot come this afternoon. A little while later, and with no phone call, we start hearing clomping sounds on the roof. I looked out and saw that the gutter cleaners had parked in the very beginning of the driveway, blocking out any other vehicles. The leaf people had to park on the birm across the street. The plumber called us saying he needed to get into the driveway because he had heavy machinery to use on the septic system. We only have one car and I had parked it to the extreme side of the parking pad out of the way. Two large vehicles could have parked in the driveway as well. I call AGAIN and express my displeasure to someone named "Sayeed" and he just says, well go out and tell them to leave. No apology whatsoever. No acknowledgement that they have ALREADY messed up our other services, and they are already ON THE ROOF, and there are already TWO other trucks wanting to get in who can't. The plumber is my hero because he came on foot and kicked the gutter people out so he could get started on fixing the septic system EMERGENCY that these clowns prevented work on. I literally would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. read more

When I was joking around with friends, they would say to me "Get your mind out of the gutter." But, seriously have you ever looked in your gutter? It is not a pretty sight, there are dead leaves, twigs, and all sorts of other junk. If you leave it there, it can cause roof problems and water damage in your house. So, after the leaves fell and I saw my gutters overflowing, I called Guttermaid. They were friendly and gave me a rate quote over the phone. They came out and performed excellent service and gave me a detailed report about my roof. The serviceman called before he came out and talked with me after the job was done. We moved to the area summer last year. Since we moved, we have realized that the gutter on the back of the house kept overflowing even with light amount of rain. We finally called GutterMaid and they came out in few days to clean our gutter all around the house. I don't see any overflow anymore anywhere. I should have contacted them earlier. I called them to make an appointment to have them clean our gutters. The person I spoke with said they would call back later and set up an appointment. About a week later a guy just shows up and knocked on the door. I opened the door and the guy said he was with Guttermaid and there to clean the gutters. I told him they never made an appointment and that I was just leaving for work and could not wait until he finished. I called their main office number and was told that they don't make appointments, they just show up at their convenience and leave a bill for you after the work is done. I was not told this and as I wanted to be home to make sure the work was done properly and that it was done at all. Have had problems in the past with contractors not completing the work. The man left and I called back to the office and the person there said he would have the owner email me only (no phone call). The owner and I went back and forth via email and he was not helpful at all but stated it is against their policy to make appointments. I told him that when I initially contacted them, I was told they would call me back to make an appointment. He then sent me an extremely long email regarding their company policies and rules and stated that since I refused to abide by their policies, they would not be doing business with me.....as if he was punishing me! He referred to a long list of company polices and procedures "that must be followed by the customer" and directed me to their website. I was amazed at the length of their Terms of Service on their website that the customer is bound to. I was not hiring them to build a house, I just wanted my gutters cleaned. I called around and found another gutter cleaning company that did set-up an appointment without all the hassle. They were also quit a bit less that Guttermaid. Was glad I happened to be home that day or otherwise they would have just cleaned the gutters without my knowledge and then left a bill for me on the front door. Quoted at 125 for my house. Received a appointment for my gutters to be cleaned and then they cancelled it. I guess I needed to sign something, so I did and sent it back to them. Re-scheduled and they told me that I wouldn't have to be home. I'm in Delaware and this is for my home in Maryland. Ended up receiving an email after my appointment date saying my appointment was cancelled because I needed a price quote. Emailed them and they said 95% of homes are 125 or less. I happened to be that 5%. So my question is, why tell me I don't have to be home if it's possible my price is over 125? Both times I waited over a week before cancelled. I was extremely happy with the service provided. They gave me a quote through Yelp and were able to schedule a gutter cleaning the next week. The technician was initially concerned about being able to reach all areas of the roof and thought he would need a larger ladder which would delay the cleaning and raise the price. He was eventually able to find a way to get it done with the original price after getting some suggestions from the office. He took the time and effort to get the job done for the lowest price. I like how Guttermaid sent an email with a photo and the name and phone# of the young man, Shae, who was scheduled to do the work. There was a delay because of weather, which was fine because the company sent an email re-scheduling. Shae called ahead and arrived within the timeframe he stated in the phone. He was courteous, gave me an estimate of the time it would take, and got right to work, finished the job in the timeframe he had stated. I was happy with the service. read more

Gutters were overflowing and damaging my house. Called Guttermaid to schedule a repair service call and after telling them what was going on, they suggested I schedule a cleaning with an add-on service to see if there was damage. This option saved me money (vice scheduling a repair service call) and they said the cost of the add-on service would be applied to any needed repairs, if no repairs were needed, the add-on fee was non-refundable. I felt this was reasonable and I appreciated the tech figuring out a way to save me money. The actual service was today with Stephen and Elijah. Another point in Guttermaid's favor - they sent an email prior to the service with the technician's photo. I appreciated that from a security standpoint. I had taken video of what was happening with the gutters during the last rainstorm to show the technician. Stephen identified the problem areas before I ever showed him the videos. They assessed the problems, gave an accurate and well explained explanation of the work that needed done and the cost, did the work in a timely manner, cleaned up everything, maintained social distancing, tolerated my barking dogs better than I did and politely dealt with my neighbor who was talking to them while they were on my roof. I don't anticipate any problems with the gutters now, but if there is after the next rain, I will update my review. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this service and found Stephen and Elijah to be consummate professionals. I will DEFINITELY use Guttermaid for all future services. read more

Super happy with Gutter Maid from start to finish. Their Communications with me from the beginning has been on point. Letting us know when we would be scheduled and when we would need to reschedule for weather. When the day came for service the tech called me in the morning and then introduced himself and his company when he arrived. He got right to work and kept me informed of how the process was going. I heard from GutterMaid today. I must update my review from bad to excellent for customer service. The agent was very kind and explained the delay was due to the weather, and the Jan 31 timeline was a typo!! I am relieved that this company dpwsnot expect customers to wait 10 weeks for service. The wait time is up to 6-8 weeks because of the weather. I totally understand and believe that is reasonable. Hopefully my gutters will be cleaned tomorrow as planned. I'll update everyone on the actual service. But so far, GutterMaid has excellent customer service. They are responsive and that makes a difference. GutterMaid performed the cleaning. I must admit, I was impressed. Two men arrived in uniforms. They were prompt and didn't leave a mess. They emailed me photos of my gutters so I could verify the cleanliness, and they also provided an update on any issues that were visible to the eye. I recommend GutterMaid. read more

I put in my info online (include the promo code) and in about 4 hours I got a response back from a real person (i.e. not automated), went through to verify everything I needed to know. I didn't have to be at home, and the tech was also very friendly when they showed up and even called me to let me know that he was on the way. They are flexible with the timing (and they give you a ballpark of when they will show up). I think it's nice when they come when they are available (with all things considered they don't need access to the inside of your house and they have to work with weather pending). The lowest cost around here (I've been quoted for as much as twice for the same work). Guttermaid is a good company to deal with. Their prices are reasonable and their service is within normal limits. After I ordered the service they came out about two weeks later. This is normal considering the amount of customers they are servicing at the moment. Where this company truly shines is in comparison with their competitors. One such particular comparison is against leaf filter. The price you get for your gutter protection is heavily dependent on the square footage of gutters around your house. This makes it hard to compare to other people's prices. Our house is pretty large at about 160 ft of gutters. Leaf filter quoted about $6000 for it. The lowest price they could offer was about $2000. Even with their lowest price Guttermaid beat them by $800 giving me a quote of about $1200. The whole service was done in about two hours when they came over and I really like the option of us not even needing to be there when the service is done. The credit card on the account that you provide earlier automatically gets charged. Overall it was a good experience and I would suggest their services to others. read more

I was concerned that they'd upcharge me with the "it's going to take us more than 30 min to complete the job". I couldn't be more WRONG. My appointment was set for 24-28 July 2017. I received about 3 emails with status updates. Due to the inclement weather my appt was rescheduled for 31 July 2017. The technician called when then were enroute, rung the doorbell to let me know they were there and when they left. They cleaned all the residual debris (very very little) from my deck, which I thought was extremely nice of them. I will continue to use Gutter Maid Service. During the torrential rain yesterday I noticed rain pouring down a window screen instead of going through the gutter. I requested emergency service and Guttermaid was out the very next day (additional cost) and cleaned out the gutters. The tech did find what caused the problem which was a clogged downspout. He cleaned all of the gutters in about 45 minutes. I'm very pleased with each aspect of this service and the total cost, even with the additional emergency cost, was very reasonable. I highly recommend Guttermaid! Absolutely amazing service. Our house is located on a wooded lot and is nearly 4 stories high so cleaning our gutters is not a quick and easy job. Other companies wanted to charge us a ridiculous amount to have our gutters cleaned and made it near impossible to schedule a cleaning. I inquired online at Guttermaid and someone contacted me within minutes to schedule a cleaning. They were out at the house 4 days later and had my gutters cleaned in no time. What a great company! I called to schedule my gutter cleaning, was given a 5-day window when they might come, was called the day of the cleaning. When I had a slight time conflict (I was teaching when they planned to come and didn't want the distraction) they very easily adapted to my schedule. When the job was completed everything was cleaned up -- even the debris from overflowing gutters during the last storm!
