My husband and I just had PJ's Roofing, Inc. install a new roof, siding, gutters, downspouts, gutter guard system to all gutters, soffits, the whole 9 yards! We were impressed from the start to finish. The roof was done in 1 day. They were very professional, clean, courteous and accommodating. Our roof was in bad shape and needed all the ply wood replaced, and PJ's was all over it! They managed to do ALL this in one long day. We were so pleased! We highly recommend PJ's for a successful new roof installation and all that we had done. Rest assured that your money will be well spent. ALSO - Our house has been 100% better insulated. We used to keep our house at 70 to 72 for air conditioning, and that was still feeling some heat; but now at 76, the house is cool! IT'S AMAZING! We are so happy and amazed at the difference. The entire staff was attentive, responsive, easy to talk to, very respectable. It was great working with them all. P.S. We live in Gettysburg. They were highly recommended to us. And now we highly recommend them to YOU! read more

You worry, that you've got an important project that needs doing at your home, and it's going to cost a serious amount of money, and you're in a quandry about what company to hire, in order that when the company you've finally settled on to do the job is finished with their work, you can say to yourself, Yes! I finally, actually, made the right choice, for a change! If you've had any of these concerns in the past, about what company to hire to do your job, you can just dismiss all these worries, if you just hire P.J. Roofing company. An incredible company with great, conscientious, serious, skilled employees in their work and work ethic. They recently replaced my old guttering, and did significant repair work on the siding at the back of my house. A representative of P.J. Roofing, Daniel, came out to my home and presented me with multiple options for new guttering, including color, size, and filtration systems to prevent my gutters from getting clogged, and subsequently having rain water, deluges of waterfalls in fact, spilling over my old guttering, that were previously encumbered with Gutter Helmet, which did not do what it was advertised to do. He also identified, understood my concerns, and recommended a solution to the problem, that I had recently been made aware of, with the old siding on a small portion at the back of my house. I am forever grateful for making the right choice in hiring P.J. Roofing. If I was going to have my roof redone, I would certainly hire them again in a nanosecond to do that work. I had their employees coming out after the guttering and siding work were completed, to ensure everything was done right, looked right, and to ensure that I was pleased with what they had done. A kudos and shout out to Donnie, and his son Nick, and Donnie's wife; to Miguel and Elvis; to Edward and Gilbert, all whom I cannot praise highly enough, for their tireless and conscientious work what they have done for me, in restoring and providing better protection for my home. P.J Roofing is the epitome of old time business excellence, and whoever is the owner of this company, had the wisdom and good fortune to have hired such excellent employees, all who exhibited such a high caliber of work ethic. read more

The job was to replace and repair where necessary, two flat roofs on a contemporary home. This will be the fourth time the roof was replaced since 1987 and we sought the best quality over the lowest price for a change. Overall, our PJ's experience was impressive. From the estimator, to the office staff, to the on-site crew: everyone was polite and professional. Quality Highlights We felt we received useful information, and never felt rushed to make a decision. The crew was remarkable. They communicated appropriately on project status and issues. Even our dogs appreciated their company. It was obvious this was a high-quality job. Many details were addressed that we'd not been informed of previously. For example, the previously installed skylights were not designed for a flat roof! We liked working with a company that appeared likely to still be in business ten years from now in case warranty work is needed. That is a good indicator, warranty work will not be needed IMO. Daily and final cleanup was perfect. Thanks! Value The price for this job, new underlayment, roof, two new skylights, and repair work totaled about $27,000. After witnessing the workmanship and materials, I feel it is worth it. Afterall, the job required a crew for about five days and the material was high quality. I'd refer PJ's to anyone seeking quality work. read more

I want to give a huge shoutout to PJ's Roofing, Armando and Sergio for the incredible work they did repairing a water leak on the side of my home. This was no easy job--it involved the second story and roof--but they handled it with absolute professionalism and skill. They replaced siding, repaired wood, installed new guttering, painted, and even replaced the rubber flashing around my roof pipes. Every detail was done with precision, and the end result is better than it ever was before. On top of their excellent craftsmanship, they were courteous, respectful, and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day. It's rare to find workers who care this much about both their work and their customers. Highly recommend P.J.'s Roofing !! read more

We have a 4 year old house and due to the builder have some leaks already. PJ's has come out and completed a repair the best they could and the leak stopped. Because of our location and wind driven rain additional leaking occurred but they came out repaired again covered by our initial cost. After a flaw in the construction was found by their roofer, they promptly reported the problem to us and PJ himself came out to assess and determine best course of action. He was honest and explained it would be a significant cost but also, he felt comfortable that it wasn't necessarily something we needed to do right now. You could tell he is someone that is very caring and honest, doing the right thing by customers. I will never call any other roofer as long as I'm in the Frederick county area, any work will always be through PJs. Thank you! read more

We contracted with P.J.'s to replace our roof and skylights and they exceeded our expectations in workmanship, cleanliness and quality. They were fair in pricing and never tried to upsell or take advantage, even when during mid-job we asked about additional work that might need to be done did we ever feel like they tried to convince us to increase the job. They showed up on time, checked in with us every day a week and then a few days out to confirm and showed up on time, and worked late. Even when the job took longer than expected they came over the weekend to finish up after cleaning up all the debris from the first day. When we had a question the owner called us back. We'd heard nightmares about roofers that left yards and bushes littered with nails. These guys even came back after the job was done to make sure everything was cleaned up right. It isn't often that you find a contractor that does quality work at a fair price AND goes the extra mile to make sure the job is done right. Without question I would recommend P.J.s. read more

Absolute the best customer service, expertise and hands-on work. I post this recommendation without any hesitation. I interviewed 5 different roofing companies before selecting PJ Roofing. From the first contact with the estimator who was very thorough- explaining options with costs to the quality control person who walked the roof and ensured all was perfect. And Mick the foreman who was really a doll - I say this because he was easy to talk with, always available, knowledgeable and went the extra mile to coordinate with my insulation folks. Highly recommend. read more

Had a new roof put on by PJs this spring. I'm really happy with the job. Pricing was competitive and quality was top notch. I had a new roof installed along with a skylight and rain gutters. The crew worked fast and did a fine job. The roof and gutters look great and I've had zero problems in the six months since the install. Along with the roof, PJs helped out with an install of a cupola and weathervane. They also rebuilt a brick chase and cement cap on my chimney which looks even better than before. I recommend them 100%. read more

I have used PJ's Roofing twice. The first time was to inspect a repair I had done by another company. Their inspection showed that the other company did a good job. It was an emergency repair. They also fixed A few minor issues that could've worsened over time. I had Shane from PJ's Roofing out today to do an inspection. It was preventive maintenance on my part. Shane found nothing wrong and told me whoever did put down the roof did a great job. He said that builders in my community usually did not do so. I asked if I needed an annual inspection and he said no. He said call me in five years. The roof is in good shape. I appreciated his honesty and will definitely call PJ's Roofing in five years. I have nothing but respect for this company. They are fair and honest. read more

We needed a complete roof replacement and selected PJs on the recommendation of a friend who is a real estate agent. They gave us the best estimate, and their work was great. We knew that they would run into some underlying problems of rotting wood on the roof and around the dormer windows, and they addressed them all, and at a surprisingly reasonable price. And everyone there, from the estimator to the office staff to the crew was a pleasure to deal with. Very highly recommended. read more

HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company. They were extremely responsive to phone calls & emails. They made a special trip to drop off samples of shingles. They sent a nice package of information in the mail containing their insurance info/product information. A few days before our appointment, they emailed to confirm. The crew showed up on time, did an exceptional job of removing our old shingles & installing new architectural shingles, and cleaning up the job site. They worked extremely hard in the hot sun all day and deserve a lot of kudos! Todd, the project manager, is an extremely qualified and talented carpenter. Todd ensured the work was done properly and the site was thoroughly cleaned up with magnets, brooms & blowers. Many thanks to PJ's! You guys did an excellent job! After 25 years with the original roof, I knew that it was time to replace it, and I knew that it would not be cheap. However, I wanted a quality product at a fair price. I interviewed several roof companies and obtained estimates to not only replace the roofing but also the skylights and gutters. Based upon other homeowners in my subdivision as well as friends, I decided to go with PJ's Roofing even though PJ did not come in at the lowest price. The roof, gutters. And skylights are now completed and it looks great. Don't forsake quality over cost. PJ provides a quality product and I believe that he has the integrity to back it up throughout the next several decades. read more

This company takes pride in what they do. Second time I have used them. They replaced my roof a few months ago and just had them replace my soffit and gutters. Friendly courteous workers that know what they are doing. They did a great clean up after and even sent a follow up checker to make sure everything was good. Best Contractor I had the pleasure of using in a very long time. And reasonably priced. And ask for Mitch. Great communication when needed. read more

They are wonderful.............................. I had a leak that got worse due to another roofing company not showing up. PJ"s was referred to me by a family friend. I called and got an estimate. They came, fixed everything, repaired additional problems they found and did a great job. Not only that, but Rod called me twice to make sure everything was OK, and my leak had been totally repaired. AND, they were the least expensive of the three companies I got an estimate from. I will always recommend them, and thank them for fantastic work. read more

Daniel was courteous and on time. I had him come in to look at my metal roof in the historic district because I heard vibrating noises. He came and looked at the roof and explain to me how it was constructed and how high winds will cause it to vibrate. He did not try to sell me on work that didn't need to be done. I appreciated his honesty and promptness and will definitely work with him in the future. Several of my friends have used them and said they are excellent and fairly priced read more

We finally got to the point where we couldn't wait any longer to have work done on our roof, and having heard about PJS from 2 friends who had used them and seeing signs all over the Braddock /West Frederick area, gave them a call.
