The roof was installed before the gutters. The problem is that the water falls behind the gutters since the gutters were installed too far away from the house. I called the owner John D to get things fixed. He was too busy fueling his jet so he had the sales manager, Mike, call me. Mike said that he could not help me because I am not the customer, the general contractor is their customer. The general contractor could not resolve the issue with Mike, which is why I called. They refuse to fix the issue unless we pay more. It would be nice if businesses did the right thing rather than try to save $2k. So Gutters for Less hung $30k worth of gutters knowing that they would not handle the water correctly and then refused to fix unless we pay more. Now I now why they word "Less" is in their company name. Less effort, less quality, less responsibility, less, less, less. John I hope the $2k you saved will buy you extra fuel for your jet. Mike I hope you figure out that the homeowner and the person who pays for the product is your customer.

One side of this poorhouse is attached to the rest of our house and the other three sides are all 10 foot tall commercial glass sliding doors with smaller commercial glass windows above. Almost all of those glass panes had air seal leaks making the glass cloudy and several had cracks. The sliders didn't;t slide very well either... We received several estimates and went with a mid-priced one from City Glass and Mirror. The price was roughly 25% of what a residential glass/window company had estimated. Talon stood out immediately as the most professional and detail-oriented team we met. We first connected with Darren in 2023, and his depth of knowledge was apparent from the beginning. He pointed out practical design considerations and code requirements that other contractors had missed. We went back and forth on the scope for over a year, and he was consistently patient, responsive, and generous with his time. He never rushed us and always made himself available to answer questions. We started construction in August 2025-- The construction crew had an excellent work ethic. They arrived early and worked hard - something even our neighbors commented on. They took pride in their work and paid close attention to details. The workmanship was just excellent. The work site was consistently clean and organized. They did a great job at handling unexpected situations and communicating that to me. Eddie took the time to explain everything thoroughly before moving forward. Even when we made scope changes, they were flexible and incorporated those changes without making it feel stressful or complicated. And probably the thing that impressed me the most was that they ran the whole project with integrity. They uncovered an improperly vented dryer which was a fire hazard and promptly brought it up to code. There were other moments like this throughout the project- too many to fully capture here - that consistently reinforced how much they value doing things the right way. I have to mention Eddie who was incredible throughout the entire process. He was calm, responsive and communicated clearly. He seriously made the entire project enjoyable. They were fair and transparent when it came to pricing and change orders. My project was only a very small office behind my house that needed a new roof and other companies were giving me the run around because the job was small.
