Too bad i cannot give a negative number. I would not use Gonzales Appliances for anything. Our…read moreexperience was a bait-and-switch, price-gouging mistake. The Gonzales tech insisted on fussing with a weeping issue we had (from a plugged condensor discharge tube). He wasted lots of time (poorly) dismantling the freezer compartment. Ridiculously, the discharge tube is actually accessed at the lower back of the fridge. The tech had nothing to clear the tube, so my tool box provided the stiff wire needed. The tech then refused to check - without booking a second visit - why the freezer was not working (i.e. not freezing), which was the original reason for the call-out. It turned out that the freezing system (using freon or a more modern alternative) had a leak - diagnosed within 5 minutes by a real fridge repairman who we sourced through local friends (so, live and learn). The fridge was replaced, because leaks can't be fixed on modern fridges. And, having the tech fix the leaking discharge tube (which he insisted on) was a complete waste of time and money ($250).

This was our third appliance we bought from them, that's how happy we have been with them. Mr…read moreGonzalez and his staff are professional, helpful, and mindful of budget. First we bought a fridge, a beautiful cabinet depths GE, and a GE microwave. Bought those 4 months ago, very happy with the appliances. This week we bought a stacked washer dryer, made arrangements for the delivery and install. As usual, perfect service, excellent appliances. Very much recommend!

Porfirio came out and found it was not cooling the freezer properly, and we knew it was probably the compressor. He has so much experience, we felt confident and he came and replaced our compressor. He did refer us for a call with the owner Jayson as we had some concerns, and he had good info. Everything is working good now. Porfirio is definitely an "older" frig guy!! thank you so much

Avoid at All Costs - Unethical and Unprofessional…read more This was by far the worst experience I've had with a service provider. Charging $75 for a 4-minute visit without prior warning is completely unacceptable. Most reputable companies apply the diagnostic fee toward the cost of the actual job--not this one. Instead, I was given a stream of excuses about how other companies operate, trying to justify an outrageous charge for doing essentially nothing. If your business relies on surprise fees and misleading practices, it's no wonder you have to constantly remind people how "long" you've been in the industry. Longevity doesn't equal quality--especially when transparency and basic professionalism are missing. Save yourself the frustration. There are plenty of honest, upfront professionals out there. This one isn't it. ** DO NOT BELIEVE THE FAKE RESPONSE HE WRITES BACK **

First man said I needed a new drain pump - this was on a fairly new Maytag. So I paid a lot for the part and labor. Then it happened again. Second man came and fixed it but of course I had to pay $250 service charge. Happened again and same man came out and this time did not charge me. Now it happened again and they sent Jordon. He was not even polite and said I needed a new drain pump and did not even drain my machine. Then left because he couldn't do it at that time but still charged the $99 service fee. I went to Lowes and bought a new machine after that. I feel like an idiot because I did not read their reviews which are terrible. Yes they are a scam!!

After 30 minutes he said he didn't know how to fix it and that he needed to talk to his supervisor. When he first worked on the Fridge, he said we would have a 3 month guarantee. He wouldn't give us a receipt after we paid him, said he would send it via email-nothing. Tried to call his supervisor 4X and he never would return my call...total incompetence!
