Aleks responded to a request I put out on yelp for a handyman. He was first one to get back to me. He gave me a price quote for the job and a schedule of his available times for today. We agreed on the price and time I got a text from him when he was on his way. He figured out what that problem was. He ran to get the part and fixed my front door lock. We will use him again and recommend him read more

Aleks returned to complete another punch list. He responded quickly confirming time, came on time, and worked through everything efficiently and even did some extra items to improve on what I asked him to do. If he needs any direction he's good about making sure he completely understands and gives input when he thinks he has a better solution which I so appreciate. My only regret is that I don't have more work for him. I think I'm pretty well through all my task lists now. Many thanks for another great experience! read more

He did a small job for me and it went okay. He charges $75 per hour. To be unlicensed that is steep. Having had my spouse recently pass, I called Aleks back to complete some small task. Instead, he took ALL my batteries and was gone for a few days. Then he gave me an estimate to complete the removal of the old shed. A second price for the building of the floor for the new shed. There was a third price to assemble the new shed. None of the prices included material which he did not state. That means this would be a forth price. His quality of work is good. His morality and business acumen is highly questionable. I told him no and to bring back my batteries which he did. I shared that I did not feel comfortable with the bait and switch. I designed and built custom homes in Northern Cal. Currently I hold my CPA license and a Ph.D in advanced accounting. Good luck if you are not familiar with the trades. Now, I question the validity of his 21 reviews. read more
