Now the "fun": the ceiling has non moving metal spacers with the old fashioned large plastic tiles. That break easily....after much knocking and banging bc they didn't come apart, they were in channel-like settings, he got the light in. Now the other "fun" part: putting it all back together. I am in the final stages of selling a property and Carlos led his team to do a thorough electrical inspection and fix a list of requests from the buyers. He found many things that the house inspector overlooked, and we were able to take care of many issues to bring the property up to code - safety wise. But what is more impressive, is that Carlos heard arcing from the main panel, realized we had a much bigger issue, communicated all of this quickly! He caught was noone else did and probably saved the property from a much bigger isseu! Larry professionally and immediately facilitated ALL of the behind the scenes maneuvering to get power restored in the same week. I know this was a record timewise, and while it might not be repeatable every time for issues outside their control- Larry took it upon himself to do all that was possible to align the utilities and the city, to make it the shortest possible duration. We hired Jeff to install a light fixture for us from Amazon and upgrade an outlet in a bedroom. Was quoted $200 for the light fixture installation and $175 to upgrade the outlet (this was under 5 mins of work). -We rescheduled with Jeff to come out on a Thursday. He forgot about the appointment and forgot what work even needed to get done. -He said he had time the next day on Friday. We were only available in the afternoon in which he dragged his feet to come to our property because "it was too far from his house". He ended up coming to install the light fixture despite being reluctant to do so. I'm not sure why he accepted a job if it was too far from his home. -As he's doing the work, he's complaining to us about his ex wife "being a bitch". Not professional, not relevant to our electrical problems. -He didn't end up fixing the light fixture because the Amazon part was broken. He asked my husband to go to the store and buy a new part. He eventually recommended we just buy a new light fixture. We did exactly that and thought he'd come back out to finally install the light (at this point I had already waited 1 week for him to come install this light). Then he said he didn't have time to come back for an additional week and he'd charge us again, even though the original work never was completed. -He also left our house a complete mess with electrical wires coming out of the wall because he didn't want to reinstall the light switch (so I can't use it now), dust on the ground and dining table, cut wires on the ground. I've never met someone who is comfortable charging you, leaving your house a mess, asking the customer to finish his job for him and run to the store (patch up the hole in the wall, reinstall the light switch), and not willing to come back to finish the job started. As a result, I asked for a partial refund since he never completed the work I originally hired him to do, and he said no. Really disappointed at this experience. Over a week later, and still no light and no reliable electrician.

Called Mendoza Electric to investigate why our automatic awnings failed to retract & the team…read morequickly found an outdoor covered gfi outlet that needed to be reset that we never knew existed after living here for 9 years. We had Caesar & his team give us a bid to replace over 30 canned overhead flood lights with newer LED covers because every time we went to replace the floodlight bulbs that burned out it required us to get on a ladder to get to the top of our 15 foot ceilings to do this work. The old floodlight bulbs were almost 20 years old & would break apart at the base & we would have to use a potato or carrot to twist it out to replace the bulb. So glad to get the work done, because we won't have to use that ladder or a long handled light bulb changer arm again. These lights won't burn out for a long time. Caesar, John, & the rest of his workers responded immediately, completed the job quickly, & cleaned up the mess left behind in each room by vacuuming & sweeping. Very professional & friendly.
