They really are Handy Angels! I needed a chandelier and two pendant lights replaced in my condo. I used Yelp to quote it out to various handymen/electricians. Not only was Handy Angels the first one to get back to me, but they also had the best hourly rates available. I made my appointment over text and a few days in advance they kept me posted on the timeline, which did switch a little because of emergencies coming up. Totally get it. Today, Mario came to my place to install the lights. What we both thought would be an easy job, turned into a not-so-straightforward lights exchange, due to the pendant lights being the weirdest setup I have ever seen. It took quite a while, and some messing around inside of the ceiling to figure out how to get the old ones out and the new ones in, considering that the previous owners also cut the wooden slats in the ceiling to install their weird setup. But Mario figured it out and with some resourcefulness, he installed my new pendant lights. He also patched up the drywall around the lights to make it fit perfectly. Luckily, the chandelier was a standard installation which he managed to do very quickly. He also made sure that any dust and fingerprints were gone before he left to his next job. I needed two bathroom sink faucets replaced and they did it quickly, though they did need to come back as one of the sinks with very old piping from the sink to the wall decided to leak, so they came back the next day and fixed that, as well. Those two sinks cost me less than it did to have another plumbing company (no I'm not going to name them) come out to replace the flush valves in two toilets. I'd use them again. read more

I've now paid over $900 to have what they've done fixed. I asked for them to turn on my water heaters and by the time they left the second day I had no water running to my kitchen and power was out in my living room, kitchen and garage. While the first handyman was very nice and friendly, I'm left with more problems than I started. What I've now learned is that there was a power switch that needed to be flipped in order to get the water heaters running and the cord needed to be followed to that switch. What happened to stop the water from running to the kitchen I don't understand. They ran a wire to one of the heaters, which required drilling new holes in my walls, and played with the wires under the house so it's now impossible to tell what breaker each runs to. I live in an extremely high fire risk area and one of the guys was smoking cigarettes in front of my house, which has a good amount of dry brush. I don't take issue with his smoking cigarettes, it's where he was doing it. At one point he lost his lighter going from under the house, which is stupidly risky, but he ended up finding it. I suspect I'll be dealing with the fallout of the wires being crossed for quite some time now. They may be great with other projects but once they didn't know what to do I wish they would have stopped and told me to call in someone else with a different level of expertise. They offered to come back a third day to try to fix things but by that point all trust had been lost. They refunded me for their time, but now I'm paying way more to have it fixed. read more

We contacted three different businesses for estimates. Handy Angels responded the fastest (via Yelp) and gave us a very competitive bid for the work. A two-man crew arrived on time. Friendly and professional. Also conscious of COVID protocols (they were wearing masks). They worked quickly and efficiently. Everything was done perfectly. They cleaned up after they were done. Extremely satisfied with their efforts and the results. One bit of advice: be patient with scheduling. Handy Angels is really good and their services are in demand. Work with Michael on the scheduling. After the work was completed, I was glad that we waited or them to be available. Definitely worth the very short (one extra day) wait. Call them for your electrical needs for sure. The owner Michael responded to my request for a quote right away. I talked to him on the phone and explained our problem. Even though it was his day off... and the day before Thanksgiving...he was confident that he could fix it for us easily and came over within the hour ! It turned out to be a fried outlet and a faulty fuse and he replaced them easily and got everything cleaned up in less then an hour. A wonderful good hearted man who does great work at fair prices. I paid for a two man crew, and got service of one man doing the majority of the work. One gentleman did most of the work, while the other guy did not do his part to fully assist with the job. I had to exclude two job items because time was being wasted to successfully complete what I had requested to be done, taking into account being charged by the hour. It's was not worth the money spent for a minor project. I was better off hiring someone to just get the job done at a set price. I don't recommend Handy Angels read more
