The number one driving force between this and another coffee shop was the cinnamon roll we had seen featured on yelp from Another poster. I'm not sure if they had other pastries in the back or just what was on display (there weren't many at 11a on a Saturday). But we opted for the cinnamon roll-even though there was only one (sad one) left in the case. When we got it, it was the sad one....It was extremity dry, tough to cut with a fork, the edges were stale and the frosting was pathetic. What you see is what we tried to eat but ended up trashing. What's worse, I thought we were the only ones who got it (because it was the last one, right?). Wrong. Another patron ordered a cinnamon roll that came out equally was disappointing looking as ours. Will we come back? Maybe, but definitely not for the pastries that catfished us.

Overall, I thought it was good. Not the best I have ever had, but pretty tasty. For the record, a chocolate shake made with vanilla ice cream and Hershey's is the stick to measure by IMO. Back to the shake, kudos to them for not making it so darn thick that you cannot drink it for an hour. This was ready to go when it hit my hands. Service was quick and friendly, no complaints at all. Other than (for right now) being a little out of the way, it's a good place to stop.

There are a million things you have to plan and worry about going awry on your wedding day and this was the one component that was just perfect. From ordering, asking questions, and pickup to cutting and eating - the process working with Hanna was seamless and comfortable. The cake itself was to die for. We went with an almond cake, blackberry filling and cream cheese frosting. This combination was insane! The cake was buttery, flavorful, nutty, nuanced and so rich and delicate. The filling was fresh, sweet, tart, and bright. The frostings were creamy, melt in your mouth goodness. The sweetness was so balanced that no one had a problem inhaling their slice. Might I say - this cake was even better the next day when I had time to myself and my now husband :) to sit down and enjoy a leftover slice with some hot tea. It was just such a memorable part of our entire weekend. Not that I even have to disclose but, obviously, the cake was gorgeous. I was absolutely hesitant to slice and ruin any of this incredibly detailed piping and decor but it cut like butter and tasted just as good as it looked.
