Was super exited to try this spot. Especially because it was a halfway meet point for my bestie and I. The vibe was on point, baristas were quiet but pleasant. The number one driving force between this and another coffee shop was the cinnamon roll we had seen featured on yelp from Another poster. I'm not sure if they had other pastries in the back or just what was on display (there weren't many at 11a on a Saturday). But we opted for the cinnamon roll-even though there was only one (sad one) left in the case. When we got it, it was the sad one....It was extremity dry, tough to cut with a fork, the edges were stale and the frosting was pathetic. What you see is what we tried to eat but ended up trashing. What's worse, I thought we were the only ones who got it (because it was the last one, right?). Wrong. Another patron ordered a cinnamon roll that came out equally was disappointing looking as ours. So lucky my office moved to Aledo and right downtown next to the post office is Serve. A legit good coffee and baked goods place. Reasonably priced coffee and their home baked cakes, scones and quiche are very good. I like the brown butter coffee cake but the scones are tops. They even make some gluten free and such. I wanted to love this place but... the coffee is average... I was hoping for a fun place to let the kids hang while we have coffee but the staff surely didn't want us there. We've been multiple times and it was the same rudeness. If you have little ones running around, keep a close eye because there are definitely hazardous things in the yard. Over past the west side of Ft. Worth towards Weatherford, lies the small town of Aledo and some of the best coffee you'll try in the area. SERVE Coffee is a local favorite and it is ALWAYS busy. Their seasonal drinks are delicious, pastries always top notch, and probably one of THE CUTEST inside decors. My only two complaints is parking is not great, and they only have one size of drink: 12oz. Which for this coffee addict, is not enough for the price. Will I continue to go? Absolutely, but wish there was a bit more for overall cost of a latte. They also have a sand volleyball court, outdoor seating and live music on some days. Highly recommend! read more

Emma is the BESTTT barista and makes the Serve experience all the sunnier! Their matcha isn't my favorite but their coffee is so yummy (is there a fan club for the pink house syrups? if so i need to be in it.) The few gluten free items they have are OUT OF THIS WORLD good. I'm not a local, but I am so surprised every time I come in to Serve. The staff are all super kind (a rarity in craft coffee), every coffee and espresso drink I've ever had from here has been on point. It helps that they use Oak Cliff Coffee for their beans, but the baristas also know their stuff. Far better coffee than I would have expected to find in Aledo, and frankly I prefer Serve over some of the craft coffee shops in Fort Worth. On top of that, the environment is so chill. Their back yard is worth the visit in itself. But inside, they have several rooms to hang out in or work for the day with big shared tables or small personal sitting areas. The shop and yard are adorable. The staff is consistently rude. The coffee is consistently poorly flavored. Flavored drinks alternate between tasting burnt and tasting like milk. The coffee is very expensive and always a disappointment. Got kids? Don't dare hang out inside with them. Staff will chase you out. Beware, the yard has nails and broken glass. Meh. I've been twice and was amazed at the prices and unimpressed by the coffee each time. Drip coffee is {cough} $3. It didn't have a great flavor and was bitter. I've also tried a $3.25 espresso which was very sour which tells me the grounds weren't packed down enough. The girl behind the counter seemed nice enough but didn't appear to be too well trained in the art of barista-ing. I think I'll just go to the gas station or donut shop for coffee next time. read more

The place is super cool, but the coffee is so disappointing. Overpriced for the size and the flavor just isn't there. We both got the vanilla bourbon latte, mine was hot and my husbands was iced. There's no flavor to it, all we taste is milk in coffee. And the coffee is poor in flavor as well. read more

Coffee was great. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Staff was friendly. I didn't get any food but the pastries coming out for other customers looked amazing! Outdoor area has some shade and pop turf is a plus if have little kiddos that need to roam. Indoor area has plenty of rooms for conversation, work, or study.
