Over those years, almost every single barista I've met is lovely to chat with and appreciates high quality coffee. The beans, the roast and the final result are exceptional enough this little coffee shop dictates my travel arrangements. The flavor was excellent, and the side of mineral water was a great pairing. But the extra touch of a square of dark chocolate on the stirring spoon is what hooked me. The apple crisp latte, even half sweet, still had a delicious, rich flavor, making it the perfect choice for a fall drink. The fun, on-theme interior added to the whole vibe. I ordered an iced matcha, while my friend kept it simple with an iced coffee/cold brew? I don't know what the official name is. What I do know, however, was that my matcha was excellent! Smooth, earthy, refreshing, and thankfully not overwhelmingly sweet like some matcha drinks can be. It was the perfect thing to sip on while standing outside watching the longhorn cattle make their way through the streets of Fort Worth. The shop itself seemed pretty busy, but the staff handled the crowd very efficiently. Our drinks came out quickly, the line moved smoothly, and the overall vibe was that of a great coffee shop. The prices also looked pretty reasonable, especially considering the location in a heavily visited tourist area. All in all, this was a great little coffee stop in the Stockyards, quick, tasty, and exactly what we needed in the middle of a fun afternoon exploring Fort Worth.
