She made a mistake on a 700.00 cake I ordered and then treated it as if it my error. We had it written on the order, I paid extra for it and I had to prove to her that she didn't do it before she grudgingly agreed to (not refund for the mistake) but give me an almost worthless (gift card). Bought cake there on Wednesday and I must say that she has a young Black guy working that understands customer relation and he has lasted much longer than anyone ever has. He is warm, smiling and courteous...an anomaly in that store. I hate the service and usually swear I'm not going back..,BUT THE CAKE IS EXCEPTIONAL!!!! That keeps me returning. As long as the young man works there, it will be a pleasure to return. Great cake!

The cupcakes were strawberry and the cake was moist and on point. The cheesecake was very tart and it lacked density for me. It's one of those smoother silkier cheesecakes which I'm not a big fan of but the taste was good if you like tart. I also bought the cake sampler box because I've dreamed about getting married and doing cake sampling. I'm not getting married yet but I did have an opportunity to sample all the cakes.... #winning!!! Omg... there were so many good ones. My super faves were the almond and the chambord cakes. The flavors were chef's kiss!! You could taste both flavors and they were just so nice. The cake again was moist on all 9 pieces and the frosting on every piece was smooth and delicious. I'm a cake fanatic but I truly love icing and their icing was bomb. The ambiance is super cute cake shop vibes - exposed brick beauty. LOVE this place. Ate my last piece of cake today....It's an EMERGENCY must get more!!!

After being sick for two days, I see that it was here this week, AND they had a cheesecake cookie. I didn't feel great, but convinced him to drive me there. I triple checked their closing time on google, and it said 11:00. We went to a different location first. My husband and I pull up at 10:12 to see all the lights out and a young man walking to his car. To say I'm aggravated is an understatement, because it was no where near closing time, and's on top of that, I won't be able to get this particular cookie for a while. I could blame myself if I got there right at closing, but 10:12???! To make things worse, we drive to this location, and THEY had just closed. Please please adjust your operating hours on Google, if 10:00 is closing.

I haven't visited in a bit, because of a TikTok review, I wanted to check out two of this week's cookies. Cannoli: It was delicious. The cookies were light and buttery. The creme in the middle wasn't too sweet, but sweet enough and the chocolate chips were the perfect final touch. The Cinnamon Roll: PERFECTION! This is one you'll need someone to help you finish it, that's if you want to share. HA! That's it, it was perfect! The customer service was poor when I first arrived, the ladies in the back were talking and didn't bother to acknowledge me standing at the counter. Instead, they continued what they were doing, and then one of the ladies came to the counter to assist. Finish the conversation, I don't mind. However, acknowledge those who are waiting, if you choose to continue with the chatting. The only negative, in my opinion. When ordering online, I do not like the change they made. When you submit your order for the total, they will automatically add a tip. If you're moving too quickly, you'll miss the addition and complete the transaction. That happened to me several times. I don't mind tipping, but I want it to be a choice.

Hubs stayed in the car while I picked up our pickup order and was greeted immediately by the young girl running the counter who was very nice and great at multi tasking as she was packing my order and holding a conversation with me. I had asked if they had samples as my hubs wasn't sure if the lemon cake would be good or not. Which, if you're a lemon flavored dessert lover, you know lemon flavored stuff can be hit or miss. Either too little flavor or way too much. The young lady let me know that they don't do samples, which I was perfectly fine with and understood and right as I was saying so, in walked the male manager or owner who asked if I had ordered one. Told him I did not and explained about the hubs wanting to try but understood that they didn't do that. This incredibly nice man, gave me a lemon cake mini for my hubs to try (which it was quite delicious as I took a small bite) and the hubs enjoyed it thoroughly. It's great customer service like this from both the young woman and the older gentleman that keeps customers coming back, even when this customer lives in Arlington so this is NOT my closest location lol, but will definitely be THE location I choose to go too.
