It was kind of like eating a strawberry shortcake on shortbread, if that makes sense since the crust tasted like shortbread (10/10). The next one we tried was the coconut cream pie. The meringue on top was fluffy with coconut flakes on top. The custard tasted pretty good, like something I've had before. My boyfriend said that it was like eating an Almond-joy. The crust also tasted like shortbread which I'm actually liking more than the traditional graham cracker crust (8/10). The next one is a classic key lime pie. I'm a crust person and well, I wish there was more of it, so that was kind of a let down. The key lime flavor is not too tart and the cream on top was perfect. Overall, it's a good pie, but not the best (8/10). The last pie was the banana cream pie which is one of my favorite flavors, and well, it was delicious! Another 10/10!! Definitely buying again. Price-wise, they're more towards the pricy side given their small size and being at $6 each, but we got four, so that was actually $22. This was the second location I've been to, since I went to the one in Mansfield and well, you can read my review on that. Overall, it's a nice place to stop by once in a while if you're craving some pie. If you want something more affordable and decent, Walmarts got some 89 cents pies!

I was able to find plenty of options that worked with my preference &/or a family member's favorites. My box ended being slightly heavier than the half pout ... I think .64 pounds ... so my total came to a little over $20. Which isn't bad when you think of getting a choose your own "adventure" box of fancier chocolates! Selections include little bagged treats to mini boxed chocolates to bigger ones. You could even custom pick which chocolates to include in your box. They have a display counter of all their individual offerings to choose from. Try not to drool. The employees here are super friendly on every single one of my visits. They hand out a sample when you walk in. The store is small but always neat. I'm not a fan of malls but I'm not lying when I say See's is one of the few stores I go there for. Take the food court entrance and walk through, then hang a slight left. See's is definitely higher in quality than your average boxed chocolates and at a fair price. I was totally blown away…read more I initially was disappointed - I walked in looking for the king cake cupcake, and I was told that they didn't have it and they would have it closer to Fat Tuesday. But because I traveled so long to get there I didn't wanna leave empty-handed so I bought a wedding cake and Oreo flavored cupcakes. When I got home, the cupcake was so darn good. I ate it with both hands!!! So moist but yet delicate enough to crumble when you bite into it. Really one of the best cakes I have purchased from a bakery in a long time. The service was outstanding! And the inside was very pink and pretty. They have an awesome backdrop to take photos with and even a couple tables to sit at. Definitely worth the dessert if you are in the Highlands.
