We ordered the burrata for an appetizer and the toast points were so hard to chew. It felt like biting into a brick. Definitely was either over toasted or stale. The burrata itself was good though! The biggest disappointment of dinner though was the steak. When I first received it, it was still very bloody and cold in the center and still raw. The steak had to be sent back twice, so they cooked it 3x and it was still undercooked after the third attempt. At that point, I just accepted it and didn't eat the super raw spots. My husband had already basically finished his meal by the time it was brought out the third time. Considering our bill was $150, I expected higher quality food. I had really high hopes for this place but until they can improve their food, we probably won't be coming back here.

I was STRONG and did not touch them! The grilled chicken was tender with a good flavor and so was the rice pilaf. The restaurant was clean, it wasn't smelling fishy(one of the reasons I had not been there for years), and the service from our waitress was top notch! We got to the restaurant right as it opened on Friday night so we were seated right away. We enjoyed it. Bluefin "nachos" ie wontons.... Great!! Scallops and bacon sliders.. great!! Then I decided to also add the Wagyu - crispy rice. Also great!! But you know what else really sets this place apart? The Fries! Crazy but here's my take. Everyone is doing fancy pretentious, parm, truffle garlic blah blah blah.... These fries had a unique slender (thin but wide) cut, seasoned lightly. and cooked to perfection. you can tell they take it all very seriously here. from the Chefs all the way to the greeters. It's like they all took Yes chef training at "The Bear" IYKYK...Fantastic attentive service. Highly recommend and look forward to visiting again!

Dirty martini was similar...a plus for the blue cheese stuffed olives. Appetizer of cooked oysters with parmesan and bone marrow was okay. In my opinion, there should be a slight char on the top. It was okay. Would probably not get again. The main courses are amazing. You cannot go wrong. Dessert is fair. The hazelnut dessert for a birthday person is the best and not even on the menu. The tiramisu was fair .different in that it was very dense. Overall this is quite expensive. The estimated tip on the receipt it's based on the meal plus taxes. So be aware of this. My advice for this place is stick with basic drinks, get the entrees and pass on dessert.

Lastly the chicken parmigiana was bad. The chicken was so dry and stringy I could not swallow it, I had to take it out of my mouth. That said we'll give it another try. The spaghetti and meatballs looked good and the onion rings looked good as well. I think the Venice trio had been sitting around and all got over cooked. Then came our entrees, I ordered the tortellini it was cooked well with lots of melted cheese on top holding in the sauce and fresh baked heat on the inside. It was very filling, only wish the inside was more creamy seemed to be mainly tortellini with not much sauce. But overall very good. Would recommend for a date night or family celebration.
