For me, this is the best store where I could find the best quality of any type of shoes. I recently went to the store and I was surprised by their new and amazing collection. Aside from best quality, the shoes in here also have interesting designs. The store was clean and bright and everything was organized. I was also assisted by their friendly and helpful staff. Their men's collection is nice but I highly recommend their women's collection. Everything was just literally fantastic. It's my second time coming to this store. Well I'm back again because I like the shoes that I bought here last time. It's perfect in any outfit that I wear. The price is expensive but it's worth it because of its high quality. Some staff assisted me again and gave me time to choose what I like. She's nice and efficient. I will just call her if I have some problem or need anything. It's been half an hour since I chose boots. I just took a while wearing it if it fit on me. The boots that I bought are a color of blue. It looks durable. It's perfect for my office outfit. I will be back here if I find my outfit for our Christmas ball. Clothes and accessories for casual attire, formal, and others. This place is the perfect spot to go if you need to buy great items in such a great price. This is the best store for me that is really worth it to visit in this mall of Woodfield. They have so many great selection and huge variety to choose from. My issue with Aldo is 1) price is too high for the quality. 2) The return policy is not good. I think it's ridiculous to refuse a worn shoe - now, I don't mean they've been worn several times and the wear is obvious. I mean that sometimes, trying on a shoe in the store for 10 seconds doesn't give you an honest idea of what they will be like for a few hours. I said this to the person who was "helping" me and he said they encourage people to walk around their house in them, on carpet, first. Seriously - no one does that. If you are going to charge so much money for poorly made shoes, at least have a decent return policy. read more

I think I have a serious problem with Aldo - whenever I go, I see another pair of shoes I want. I once saw a sign in an Aldo store in California that they had been written up by the government (some consumer organization, I have no idea which) for being overpriced. I am the type of person who does not want to be harassed by salesmen when I walk into a store. If I need your help, I will ask for it. I walked into Aldo with no real intent to buy anything unless I was totally stunned by a pair of shoes. I started browsing and was greeted by a very exuberant salesman, who complimented my outfit, informed me of the sales, and was being overly nice..or shall I say fake? I continued on and picked up a pair of shoes that I was not even sure of to begin with, but he talked me into trying on two colors. I knew I wasn't going to buy these shoes, I was just curious to see how they would look on me. He asked how things were going and if he could get me a different size, but I politely declined and told him I was going to pass. His attitude noticeably changed while he put the shoes back into the box.I genuinely thanked him for his help and stood there for a brief second waiting for a response or even a farewell, but all he did was look up at me and roll his eyes in a way that implied, "Get out of here already." I was totally taken back by this and was so tempted to go back into the store to tell him to check his attitude. At least finishing being fake until I leave the store. If i ever see him in there again, I will without a doubt tell him how much I did not appreciate that. Truly disgusted by it. read more

Two days after Christmas, I come roaming the mall in Schaumburg to look for some bargains. While on this quest, I discovered that the Aldo boots I had bought just two weeks before Christmas were on sale: 50% off. The full price was $200 and saving an additional 100 would have been nice. So, I decide to see if I could receive a price readjustment. Coming in a store two days after Christmas demanding a refund/price readjustment could be a nightmare for any salesperson, I would imagine. But, Carmen and Denise, at Schaumburg Aldo store, without any problems responded to my request and kindly offered me a refund. They exceeded my expectations. Before asking for the refund, I expected they would make me feel uncomfortable or that I would have to do a lot of explaining. But, none of that happened. Instead, they offered me the refund with smiles. Kudos to both girls for being so friendly and providing a great customer service in very stressful moments. read more
