Looking around at the store he had other shoes (I bought a pair as I tend to bend down and do alot of stuff with computers so I put my shoes thru alot) Picked up a pair that IO am going to start using and see if I like them. I went in there thinking i was going to spend 20 on shoes and left spending 60 on shoes and some cleaning supplies for leather shoes. Of course, there are chairs for you to sit down, try on shoes, and make your decisions without bothering any sales associate even for one (1) minute! What a lovely concept to save all the manpower and to avoid unnecessary conflicts between sales associates fighting for sales (I've seen way too much in a commission-sale environment...and often times profanities are heard)! The shoes are priced reasonably, so you don't need to frown when you see the price tags. You can find a pair of flats or work-appropriate shoes at the clearance section for under $30. However, most shoes aren't going to be ultra-fashionable. Thus, if you're seeking for something luxury or high-end, my recommendation would be Cole Haan on the second floor by Michael Kors at the Fashion Outlets of Chicago. I'm personally not crazy about this store, but I like to pop in every once in awhile to see what's new. Famous Footwear Outlet is located on the first floor, nearby the food court. Will you be "famous" after purchasing a pair of two shoes here? I don't think so, but I'm certain that you don't need to be famous to afford these shoes in the store.

There's about 25 customers in the store, but one employee. I know retail is tight, but this is downright dangerous for this employee. Because of this, she was constantly checking out people and could not help anybody, including us trying to reach the top self. We waited 15 minutes to get help from her. We also found out after getting the total that only 1 of the 6 we got were on sale. The rest were full price. I wanted to leave there, but my mom really liked her shoes. The lady barely knew how to work the register. What really soured me was the manager. He started out nice, but I could clearly see this was an act because he turned extremely rude to his employees and an older customer who he talked down to. He screwed up and forgot to give her a discount and then acted like he was "doing her a favor". Combine that with no bags and barely any sized 13 shoes, I'll pay more for shoes down the street at Dick's I used to be in retail. I know it's a thankless job and customers tend to be pretty bad, but this guy should not be in management. If he is the face of Sketchers, it doesn't reflect well on the store. It seems like this store and company have given up.

Number one I think the old school aesthetic that really makes it feel Homie and less like a modern factory. Also, all the people who work here are so super nice and there's always a lot of people working here so this looks like the opposite of any other department store Also, during Christmas, they will wrap anything that you buy there for free and you even get choices which is so incredible because no place offers that anymore outside of Neiman Marcus They always have something good to select from and when I first started shopping there in my 20s the younger section was always very much on Trend. They have some really good brands that they care that you can also find at Nordstrom for example, you can find UGGs Nike Adidas coach, great beauty and fragrances, etc. I'm not giving them a perfect five stars because I do wish that part of the store had been renovated over the years or just kind of updated would've been great And also for people who don't know, they also have their own credit card and if you need a department store credit card, they actually charge you 0% Not sure if that's still the case today, but it was back then so what that meant was as long as you paid the minimum they didn't charge you any APR or finance charges.

The nice thing is that if I need help, the workers are quick to help and will go above and beyond to answer my questions or get a product for me in the back if they have it. The only option open to me is to return the shoes; shortly after completed, the app will generate a bar code and present a list of actual stores around me. I chose it due to the fact that it is close to where I work. I went there during the middle of my lunch break on a weekday and was astonished at how busy it was. this store doesn't have an area devoted to return items, so I had to stand in line with the rest of the people. I estimated that I stood in wait for around 15 minutes. Finally, when it was my turn, the cashier agent asked reasons I was returning, and I told why. She examined the shoes to ensure they hadn't been worn, scanned the bar code, and asked me to swipe the card that I paid with. The issue I didn't have a physical card with me, but because their device supports NFC, it can accept my digital credit card copy and it works perfectly. I didn't have time to tour the store because I needed to hurry back to work. I was irritated that I had to wait so long just to return one item. The only thing I can say is that the return process was made simple.

Unbelievable customer service here!!! You do need to sign in and wait your turn, but it will be well worth the wait! You can even call ahead of time to set an appointment. Irwin helped me and I have to tell you that he is wonderully patient and kind, not to mention extremely knowledgeable!!! I thought the days of having someone measure my feet were in days gone by! I have been suffering with foot pain for many years and have worn orthotics for 2 years. The pain was relieved only slightly with my orthotics and I now realize that if the shoe is not good for your specific issues, the pain will always be there. Irwin taught me that the orthotic can not make a bad shoe good!!! Irwin put me in a extra-wide super supportive shoe. He told me to go home, wear them in the house for a few days to see if they are the correct shoes for me. He was very clear that I have 10 days to bring them back if there is a problem. It turned out that the right foot was still hurting my foot, so I went back and Irwin assured me that we would find the exact right shoe for my problems.....and he did just that! Just in time for summer, I can now go for walks without pain. Not only no pain, but these shoes are ultra comfortable it feels like I'm walking on a cushion... I do admit that I went in to the store once and was treated rudely by some other man there so I left and waited for a day that Irwin would be there.....so ask for Irwin, you will not be disappointed. They really give you as much time as necessary to solve your foot problems. Bottom line: Don't give up, there is someone to help you find the perfect shoe for your feet. read more

Even though my GPS was telling me where to go, I didn't see it until I was right in front of it. Service was fantastic. The moment we walked in we were greeted even though the place was super busy (it's a madhouse on weekends, apparently) and the woman came by to help us within a couple minutes. This store has been in business since 1961, passed through the family, and it's clear why they've been around so long what with their great service and merchandise. It was the first time that both our kiddos had ever had shoes. She measured them both, and explained what we should look for in shoes; the brand I bought, Stride Rite, she said is usually pretty true to size but if we went with one of their other brands they'd have to go up a bit. Both babes walked (or rather, strolled and were carried) away with a pair of shoes and we'll be back in August to re-size. They have a couple of toy stations to keep bored kids busy, which is a great touch. Since my baby is still just at the creeping stage and standing assisted, she doesn't wear shoes so that she can get used to the feel of her feet and the ground beneath them. But when we go for a walk or something they'll be good for her to have on her feet while she's being strolled. So although the shoes are not cheap by any means--I spent more on her shoes than I often spend on mine--I was ok with it since she's only going to have one or so at a time. And they're good brands, high-quality shoes, which is important for growing feet.
