Ever since I had to start paying for my own life (at the young age of 30) , I realized its fruitless to spend money on expensive purses. If i could give this store and the associates 0 stars i would. I ordered shoes online and it come damaged i took it to store trying to exchange it with something else. First associate said he will be happy to help me and he will order new pairs for me . Than this rude and angry girl came and she is like those are clearly worn, I couldn't believe my ears. The Glendale Galleria location is the worst and maybe it's a company thing as well. I went 2 weeks ago to exchange/return a shoe gift and was told I couldn't because I didn't have any kind of receipt. I went back 2 weeks later with a GIFT RECEIPT and was told I couldn't get my money back and HAD to settle with getting a shoe and other items to equal receipt amount. Honestly, I love Aldo's style. Ive purchased shoes from here a WHILE back and they are still in great condition. The quality and style Aldo has is awesome! The staff is usually a bit standoff-ish (could it be cause I dress down and dont look like I have a single dollar in my pocket?? LOL), but thankfully this time we had a really nice gentleman helping us out. He stuck by us and gave us pointers on different shoes to try on. I thought they were having a 50% off sale on the entire store and tried on these shoes that were expensive shoes (Mr.B's), and they were such a perfect fit only to find that they were not 50% off. It totally killed my moment. So we kept looking at looking, and finally after trying on three different shoes, I finally found one that totally compliments me and tells me how good I look with them on LOL. My wife also found a nice necklace that she wanted as well. The best part of it was that our two little ones were with us and running a muck inside (which they are usually VERY well behaved but they were getting all crazy we bought them these splat ball things). The gentleman helping us out was totally chill about everything, which as a parent is awesome cause when I start seeing tension in an employee it turns me off - like I'm a dollar sign and not a human being/customer. Overall, I'm totally an Aldo fan. Though their shoes are usually wayyyy to slim for my feet, the ones that do fit me looks and feel awesome! I hope the day will come where I can go back and get those Mr.B's! I seriously loved those shoes! I love Aldo. You can look stylish without breaking the bank. They have beautiful sandals, boots, flats, and bags. I have purchased several items from Aldo and I have not regretted any of them. Some items do have a nice price tag however keep your eye out for sales. I kept my eye out for some cute little booties but I did not want to spend 90$ on them. Well they went on sale for 50% off! Unfortunately they were sold out in store. They went out of their way to see if they were available to order online and ship to my house. Luckily they were and I was able to score the boots I've been dreaming about for a steal of a price. I had literally visited a different Aldo that week and those workers did not even mention that they could look up the item online and see if it's available to ship to my home. The customer service at this Aldo is terrible. I ordered a couple of pairs of shoes from the website and had to return one of the pairs because it was too big. The salesgirl was a little aggressive from the moment I walked in, snatching the shoes from my hands and grilling me about why I didn't want to get a smaller pair. Then, after examining the bottom of the shoes, she concluded that they were "too scuffed up" to return which is impossible because they had never been worn. The other pair that they had sent me were all black on the bottom, so clearly they have no problem reselling scuffed shoes. I had to be very firm with her before I was able to get a refund. The staff working the registers was extremely slow as well. Please watch out for the salespeople here making up rules about return policies and pushing their merchandise on customers. read more

I can't really complain about this store. I got decent help, though the fact that they only carry whole sizes is sorta a pain in the butt. However, if you need a pair of moderately fashionable or overly fashionable (read 6 inches too long with some weird rune on the top) shoes this is the place for you. This store got plenty selections of great sandals, heels and boots. Although, I only buy their heels here, and as of right now I got 6 pairs of heels from this specific store. I just love their great customer service they offer at this store. Just this pass black friday after I came from work, I passed by at this store to try on some shoe. And the saleslady that was helping me out was super duper nice and helpful. She even gave me tips on shoes and how to break em in in case it is too tight when you first get the shoe. However, the prices are $60-$200 for a really nice heels. But the price is a good as what you pay for it. They have great designs of shoes and the comfort is just perfect for me. If you are not a fan of buying shoes from here because of the ridiculous prices, then I suggest you buy their shoes from their website. Not taking anything away from ALDO products. Love them! What I didn't love about this specific location was the customer service. They had about 8-10 girls and 2 dudes out on the floor "helping" people, when the line is 4-5 people deep. The manager needs to rethink the way they prioritize their staff. They only had one (1) cash register open when it's Mother's Day weekend?! There were 12 staff members walking around and talking to one another while 4 of us waited to pay. I asked one of the staff members if they can help on the cash registers. She said they are not allowed or trained. Went into the store a little stressed out because I couldn't find shoes for a wedding (that was in one day). But was immediately welcomed by Gessica (such an interesting way to spell her name). I showed her my dress and what kind of heels I wanted and she proceeded to show me many styles and looks, all of which were amazing. She even matched some shoes and purses for me. Such a nice and friendly person, really made my shopping experience 10x better. Saw her with other customers and she was amazing. Get this girl a raise! I got the cassedy-33's and I LOVE THEM. Let my start off by saying the sales representatives here are full of attitude and have really bad customer service. I ordered boots a few weeks ago and they came in all "worn" looking. I thought that was just the look but either way I still didn't want them. I went into stores to return them, but it wasn't until about 30 minutes of back and fourth bickering with the associates I was able to return them. They were very rude and gave a whole lot of attitude that was not necessary, and had the audacity to accuse me of having them worn and then trying to return them, when I specifically told them it was sent to me that way. I live 30 minutes from this mall, I went there to go shopping and purchased shoes at this store. I saw the girl at the register check the Shoes before putting them in the bag. And to my surprise, I got home and the were two sizes too small!! I needed a size 8, the box says 8 but the Shoes inside are a 6. I purchased 2 purses online and one came damage. It was missing a rhinestone. I went to the store in Glendale and the lady named Heaven stated I couldn't do an even exchange because I purchased via PayPal. She proceeded to tell me that I could return it and then repurchase it for the higher price. Since Aldo does not exchange online, I had to return it and repurchase it and pay the additional cost ugh. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE when it comes to returns. I asked their employee about their return policy for the choker I was considering, and he told me "ah yeah, just bring it back, like, tomorrow." What?! Then I bring it back a few days later, two employees at the cashier both started chirping "you can't return it, it's jewelry." Okay, their return policy on the back of the receipt just mentions no returns on earrings, but not all jewelry across the board. They don't even mention it at the time of purchase. Of course they had to call the manager and she had to process the return. So everyone who wants to return something have to ask for the manager every time?! They even requested that I show my ID just to refund it back to the original credit card purchased with, because the credit card name has to match the person who's retuning it. They just made me feel like I'm doing something illegal. 100% unpleasant, they need to train their employees for better customer experience or they'll just deter customers. read more
