Our experience at Chic Bohemian Bride was so lovely. To begin with, the couple that owns the store was so warm and inviting. The shop itself was cozy and cute. The store was completely ours for the appointment so we received all the attention and support. We were seated in their couch area. The seats were all very cozy. They offered us all cookies and water. We were not rushed but made to feel right at home. Then I was given a bucket with clips to use on the hangers of the dresses I wanted to try on. I loved that I was able to go through the dresses myself and that the selection of dresses was so organized and easy to comb through. I ha been to other bridal boutiques where we were not allowed to touch the dresses or where I was rushed through them or felt overwhelmed and didn't get to explore the whole inventory and got fomo. This system was efficient and perfect! After I made my dress selections, the owners pulled them and set them aside so I could see them all. They also pulled a few they thought would look good on me and one of them literally ended up being our favorite. However, they had so many options that looked so gorgeous and completely different from anything I'd seen at other bridal shops. This was also the only boutique I went to where I was offered a mirror to be able to see the back of the dress without having to look over my shoulder. They had so many of these small choices that just made the experience so smooth. They had the best service here! Truly. Dreamy dresses. Lots of customization available. Very fair pricing. Great quality Hollywood glam & bohemian dresses! Just gorgeous! While I didn't end up getting my dress here it wasn't an easy decision not to! They were so attentive & helpful, going the extra mile to help me visualize changes I could make. The shop & dressing room were beautiful! It made it feel like the special event it was. My budget was $4000 and even with rush fee any of the gowns would have been below that. They also had a large selection of sale dresses. If you are looking for a Hollywood glam or bohemian gown you must go here. I ended up going for a different aesthetic, but if that's what you know you want, you'll find it here. I came in looking for a classic veil ONE day before my wedding. They carry all types of veils, but the one I wanted needed to be tailored. Paulette and her husband were extremely helpful and kind, and quickly agreed they could have a veil ready the next morning, just in time for my wedding. An absolutely stunning bridal shop! Paulette and Luis are fantastic people to work with. My bridal appointment was in February, and I was able to "Say 'Yes' to the Dress!" here! I just picked up my dress last week and it was everything I have dreamed of. They have a variety of stunning dresses that are unique and ethereal that will make you feel like a goddess. I do recommend coming at least 6 months prior to your wedding date, as the dress needs to be made for you. I was able to do slight tweaks to the dress to make me feel more comfortable and Paulette is an expert in guiding how the dress can be altered. I had a wonderful experience buying a wedding dress from Paulette and Luis - they were both very friendly and professional, and they made me feel like an new friend. They were very patient as I was trying on dresses - they let me try on as many as I wanted. When I put the order in Paulette customized it for me and added some detailing on the skirt. When the dress came it (custom made from Italy!) it was absolutely beautiful and the detailing came out perfectly. Paulette also did the tailoring for me - she shortened the hem length and added a couple of carefully placed hook and eyes for the bustle - it came out just beautifully, just the right length for my shoes. Paulette also makes jewelry - I bought a bracelet and earrings that went really well with the dress. I would absolutely recommend this shop - I wish I had a reason to go back! read more

This place is an absolute gem! I am so happy that I stumbled upon it today. My wedding is only 30 days away and I still hadn't found a dress so I was in panic mode! There is also metered parking on Honolulu out front. Customer service: the couple that own the place were assisting me. I had a really great experience at this store with both the owners. I was in the neighborhood because I was early to my chiropractic appointment and wanted to pop in to look at some veils. After postponing my wedding to 2021, my fiancé and I decided to elope and honor our original wedding date but gave ourselves 2 weeks to pull it together! When I saw the sign on the door that you could only go in by appointment, I decided to call and check if I could quickly browse veils. The owners literally put together a small space for me within 5 mins to accommodate my last minute request! I was so so grateful.
