The space is less than 6 feet wide but about 50 feet long, yet they seamlessly dance around each other as they reach for this, turn to do that. It is a ballet honed over time and repetition. Fulfilling orders and requests in an efficient joyful choreography. Alex and Ricky, best friends, mixed and shook and stirred and poured in a constant motion that became a blur! Grey and Taylor the hardworking bar backs who not only took care of the basic needs, but anticipated next needs and just handled it added to the performance in and out as time and needs prescribed. All of the patrons lucky enough to get a bar seat absorbed the energy for a collective elation. Best show ever!

The fixed menu was good but there were some regular menu items I would have liked to try more that were not available. Btw, there were other families with kids there as well so we did not feel like we were crashing a couples night. My mushroom pasta was delicious but I would probably not order again, it was extremely mushroomy which is not what I usually go for. Still glad I tried it, as it wasore appealing than the other options. The caprese salad was my favorite, large portions and beautiful presentation. The caesar salad was well done and tasted homemade. My Italian old fashioned was *amazing*! The steak and mashed potatoes were cooked well. The included prosecco was a nice touch but I didn't drink it, it gives me a headache. There was a kids menu and they enjoyed their butter noodles. The dessert options were good, a bit uninspired: strawberry cannoli and blueberry cheesecake. As someone who typically detests cheesecake, this was excellent. Had less of that gross cream cheese texture I despise and more like a pound cake texture. Ambience was classy and they had lots of holiday decor and photo ops. Attentive service. Would go again.

As soon as we walked in, the hostess greeted us and sat us, no reservation required. The restaurant itself is smaller and has a bar area/counter next to the dinner tables. Our server Maddie was great, had great suggestions, and was attentive. Bread service could've been warm, also never received the butter with it. I don't normally go with the "Chef's Special" because I always feel like it means "the seafood is about to go and we have to sell it" lol I couldnt resist the Frutti di Mare Cannelloni. I paired this with an Old Fashioned and the Brussels Sprouts Pancetta. We also tried the Carbonara. All the dishes were amazing. I was not disappointed with the cannelloni, wonderful seafood taste medley, not "fishy". The Brussel Sprouts were a hit, my partner normally hates Brussel Sprouts but he enjoyed these. The carbonara was perfect! Honestly loved all the dishes tonight. Might come back Sunday to try something else off the menu--pictures of the veal Marsala looked amazing.

Halfway through our salad they seated a male right next to my husband. The rest of the bar area was open and all the booths along the wall were open as well. The man was filthy dirty and the odor from him filled the room. His hands had blood on them too. He kept mumbling and laughing and when the bartender tried to take his order he was having a difficult time understanding him. My husband got up to go to address the situation and the man proceeded to show me his teeth and growling at me. This behavior completely changed the direction of our evening and hopes for a nice experience for dinner. The restaurant wanted us to make changes rather than the man disrupting the evening. We decided to leave and dine elsewhere. The restaurant made zero efforts to accommodate this unfortunate time for us on our vacation. Empathy for someone is not lost on me, but lack of respect for us was certainly lost on the management here! Save yourself the time and find an alternate place to patronize when in Durango!

The wait for a table was a bit longer than I expected, but once I sat down, the food more than made up for it. I started with the Baked Meatball Grinder as an appetizer. The meatball itself was tender and flavorful, but the baguette was on the tougher side, which made it a little hard to bite into. Still, the taste of the meatball carried the dish. For my main course, I ordered the Bolognese with Salmon as my protein, and this ended up being the highlight of the meal. The pasta was cooked just right, the salmon was perfectly prepared, and the wagyu beef sauce tied everything together beautifully. Honestly, if I was not so full, I could have easily gone for another plate. Overall, this place is a good choice in Durango if you are in the mood for hearty Italian comfort food. I will definitely be back the next time I am in town.
