Updating my review! It's been awhile since my last review. Since the pandemic this became the place to shop. I learned how to use their reward system, clipping coupons checking their weekly ads etc. I have fallen in love with this place lol the staff is awesome I have met some really cool people here. I do feel like they need to fix their flower dept a little better though they need to add more options! The Albertsons in Alhambra has more options and they have gorgeous arrangements. Other than that this location is seriously my favorite:) the store is always clean and fully stock. I will add pics at a later time today. I'm heading over there in a bit! :) read more

Please inform your employees on how to properly merchandise the product in-store. A lot of the cat litter was stocked in the wrong location and with incorrect pricing. I had to walk back and forth several times with an employee to check prices, and it is unacceptable that there was no price matching or anything of that sort. read more

Honestly one of the best places to go grocery shopping if you know how to play the coupon game correctly. This is pretty much my go to place for the chips (when they are on sale) which comes out to be about $1.97-$2.50 per bag if you get 3 or more bags. They have weekly Friday deals and just normal sales as well. This is also my go to place for fried chicken when they have a sale on Fridays which are $5 for 8 pieces - great meal for 2 people when you have nothing else to eat at home and you want to save money. Workers are nice especially when I personally had no idea how to find the coupons I clipped on the app. The store itself is pretty clean and organized with all products being they should be. I can't say much about the produce there as I only get chips and frozen food (primarily frozen fries and the occasional frozen shrimp when its on sale). Overall, Albertsons is awesome! read more

Some of the people who work in the deli need to take a course in customer service. This is not the first time either. Unprofessional attitude. The same two women both times. Two women 12/16/25 at 5:45p. There are some good employee's in the deli. There was a male employee who is always helpful. We've been a customer of Albertson's Montebello for over 20 year's. Horrible service in the hot meals. My husband and I wanted to purchase two of the 16 piece chickens and they refused to sell them to us. They said we can only buy one 16 piece. I asked why and they said that's the minimum per family. No where do they have signs saying that's the minimum. I told her what if we don't come together? She said they wouldn't sell it to me because they knew we were together. Completely rude and unacceptable. If you have that policy then put signs that clearly say that. Lost a customer. read more

The wife and I wanted a quck hot plate from the deli at Albertsons and Sergio was so friendly and attentive to us from start to finish. First time coming to Albertsons and it left a bad taste in my mouth. I always like to sample a slice of whatever I'm buying to decide how much I want to buy. I always buy what I sampled no matter what since it's embarrassing to try a slice and not buy anything. I would usually just order less if I don't like it. Fair enough in my opinion! The clerk working the deli counter informed me they don't do samples. It's shame because I really liked what I bought, but I bought less than a pound because I didn't want to be stuck with a deli meat that I didn't like. Not to nitpick, I said 1/2 pound and he gave me .675 which is a lot closer to 3/4 than 1/2. Another thing I don't like about Albertsons are the deals. Why would I want to buy 4 bags of chips or pasta? It's excessive! They should have BOGO deals or some other kind of deal where you don't need to buy a large quantity to save money. I come here on a weekly basis. The store is always clean and organized. Fruits and vegetables usually look new and fresh. The things are pricier than other grocery stores that I go to, but I always check the app (free products on the weekend) or weekly ad for sales and good deals. There's also a speedy self-checkout section so you don't have to wait in line too long if you're not buying too many things. read more

It took me a while to make this review but on July 18th I placed an order for 200 pieces of chicken went into the store to pay and placed the order to pick up the following day at 5pm for my grandkids bday party I showed up to pickup my order leaving the party guests already there and when I got to Albertsons they told me they didn't have my chicken ready because they didn't have the ingredients to bread the chicken are you kidding me !! Obviously with having a house full of guests ready to eat I was very upset and went off on them like if you know you don't have the ingredients for chicken why would you sell single pieces all day instead of fulfilling orders that had been placed and paid for , I did receive a refund but it totally ruined the party as we had to figure out what to feed our guests I will never order from there again . read more

NEVER AGAIN!!! I placed an order for oysters a few days in advance to be delivered this morning. I added items to meet the "Free" delivery requirements. I was notified 30 mins ahead that they are delivering without the Oysters, I checked the order status and found that they didn't charge me for the oysters but they added a delivery fee because without the oysters the total fell below the fee delivery threshold and now I have to go out to another store to find oysters. I want to give a very special thanks to the store manager and staff of this Albertson's store for taking the extra time to help a senior citizen, my mother. My mother is close to 70 years old and is not tech savvy. Albertsons now offers a huge amount of discounts via their Albertsons app which is great news for all customers. Unfortunately, there are some customers that don't have smart phones; even if they do have them they don't always know how to download an app much less navigate through it. The staff at this particular Albertsons took the time (while my mom was at the checkout line) to assist her in downloading the app to her phone in order for her to access the necessary coupons for her purchases. This is a time consuming process for any employee, especially when assisting a customer who speaks limited English. Albertsons could have very easily brushed off my mother and told her that she needed to find someone to help her download the app and learn how to navigate through it. But, they didn't. They took the time to help a customer in need despite of it being a busy day for their staff. Thank you, Albertsons. You showed that you cared and I am very grateful to you. read more

I was staying nearby in Montebello for a few days and popped into Albertsons on three different occasions over that time. A few things popped out to me: 1. Bakery: I bought a few different things from the bakery including cookies and brookies. Quality and price were excellent. 2. Meat: I purchased ground meat and a steak. Once again the quality and price point were beyond fair. Burgers were juicy and the steak had a lot of flavor. 3. Prices: I thought the overall prices for everything I purchased during three visits was very fair and competitive. 4. Customer Service: Keith was my cashier each visit. Extremely personable and by the third visit he certainly remembered me. I always appreciate anytime someone goes the extra mile and Keith certainly does. They also have a Starbucks here. If you are nearby you are going to want to stop if you need groceries. Great selection, competitive prices, and outstanding customer service. read more

Waiting at least 20 minutes to get a money order. A clerk never got around to assisting me. So busy the manager clerking on Ile 6. But he did acknowledge me saying Ill get to you when I can ? He took the time to explain a confusing sale item...untrimmed rib roast on sale...same thing trimmed by butchers in his dept, higher price and not the advertised item. I always use Drive Up and Go at the store in Alhambra and never have issues. I love the convenience and service. However, this location in Montebello has the worst service when it comes to online ordering. I had twelve items missing from my order and was charged for them anyway. The groceries were for my elderly parents, and because I never have issues with Albertsons didn't bother to check until days later when mom asked if I had ordered certain items. What sucks is that because they were sale items, if I re-order online I'll have to pay full price. It's not the first time it happens here. Will be shopping in Alhambra only from now on. I will say though, their online customer service is good and is what keeps me as a customer. read more

MANNYis a worker I have recently had contact with regarding a money order. I have been receiving my money orders for months before meeeting him. He was very rude and unprofessional as a employee. I was told that I could not make a money order over 3000$ without two forms of Id, which I did not have since he was the first to ask me since coming in for months without being requested for two forms. Very disappointed with his response when asking to make it happen under 3000 INCLUDING fees and he denied making one at all. However they don't have a self-service checkout, so wait time and lines can be long. Parking: located in the same plaza as Ross, CVS and Best Buy. So disgusted with these greedy giants passing on their pay raises to the consumer. Ralph's, Pavilions,Vons, Superior... offer pumpkins for $3.99. This place wants $5.99 each. Everything was a dollar or two more than anywhere else. We didn't get all our dinner ingredients here because of the outrageous prices. I noticed the marigolds were $6.99 for a small bundle. There was a bucket of rotten ones hidden behind the fresh flowers. Each bunch had one or two salvageable flowers. The rest were stems or completely rotten. I asked if I could get those at a discount. Nope! They'd rather throw them away than give them up at a discount. These places cut back on employees and still pass the cost to us. The pandemic has brought the greed out of people! Why not just put items on sale instead of the hassle of putting products in a cart and fumbling with that at checkout? Since they moved I'd say they have gotten better. I've actually seen the 3's a crowd thing take effect, and if it doesn't you can always tell them to get another checker out there. They have some funny checker people, I suggest the older lady who talks a lot, she scans the coupons for you the best and tells some random stories. But about half of them will tell you random stories. I'm also surprised on how abreast they are with news and politics. They seem to enjoy their work. The produce quality is random, but you can usually tell by how cheap something is, especially if it is out of season. Oh and watch out for 4 hour sale days, usually they suck unless you just like cheap crap (chips, soda, etc). And there are tons of people on those days (very slow). If you see everyone with a flyer in their hand ask one, is it four hour sale? And then walk away. read more
