Want to show that worse behavior means exactly is like this
Mahyar G.

"I never imagined I would have to write something like this after being a loyal customer at this Albertsons for over a decade. What happened recently was beyond unacceptable - it was disgusting, intimidating, and absolutely unworthy of a company that claims to care about its customers. The manager of this store is the embodiment of everything that should never be allowed in customer service. A tall, overweight man who sits around in filthy sandals, doing nothing but staring inappropriately at women. I was with my wife, and the way he looked at her was so predatory that she was visibly shaking. This is not just rude - it is harassment. When I stood up for my wife, instead of de-escalating, this so-called manager actually jumped up like he was ready to fight me - a paying customer. Behind him, another tattoo-covered man stood there like backup, fueling the intimidation. Tell me: since when is it acceptable for Albertsons staff to behave like thugs toward the very people who keep this store in business? And then, after all this, this manager had the audacity to tell me this would be the "last time" I shop here. The irony is laughable - because he's absolutely right. After 10 years of loyalty, I will never return to a store where the leadership behaves like predators and bullies. If corporate or ownership has any integrity, they will investigate this immediately. This is not just "bad customer service" - this is dangerous, hostile, and deeply disrespectful to the community. A manager like this is a liability to Albertsons and a disgrace to the brand. Customers deserve safety and respect - not harassment, intimidation, and threats. Shame on this manager, and shame on whoever allows this behavior to continue."** SHAME SHAME SHAME

Great local grocery store in Quail Hill! I come often for simple groceries and wine. I do find it inconvenient that half the store is locked up in cabinets. I didn't realize there was such a high crime rate in this area. They do have good deals on wine, so I usually keep an eye on that.

Don't bother coming here for ANY kind of personal products. They are all locked up. I realize this is becoming a trend, but this is absolutely ridiculous. There has to be a better way to deal with this. Who has time to wait for an employee to come over to open a cabinet? What if I need to compare products? What if multiple people need things? All this does is send a message of "don't buy these products here." Why waste precious shelf space like this? I'm sure the manufactures don't like this either. What a joke!!

Rotisserie Chicken

Grabbed a Rotisserie Chicken for a quick dinner. I probably should have looked at it first. Otherwise, it's a good store. Service is always good. One time the produce section was filled with a lot of older items but this last time I went, everything was fresh...except for the chicken. Again, I should have looked at it but, in all fairness, it should not have been sold looking like that.

Can't even get decently cut deli meat. It's all shredded cheese. Not the first time it's been like this.

Beats Total Wine prices, with buy 6.

Great Albertsons! Much nicer than our local one in south OVC.. I am writing the review for their amazing wine selection. Unfortunately, I came here after I went to total Wine. I was shocked to see that Albertsons, by far, beat the prices for total wine. I literally compared exactly what I got at total wine with the Albertsons selection. It is a clean, well-kept store with friendly employees. If you are a wine drinker, I definitely recommend you coming here see photos!

I always freeze the extras and they toast back up very well in the toaster oven. The biggest downside is the wait time. There is almost always a line for Sangak Bread and it takes a while. While I was checking out, the cashier refused to help bag my groceries, even though I had opened my bags and was unable to both unload items onto the register and bag them at the same time. She told me, "I'm only a cashier, not a bagger," and left the items on top of my bags. In my experience, this is the only store where cashiers refuse to assist with basic bagging responsibilities. I always treat employees with respect and do not expect special treatment, but customers should also be treated with courtesy and professionalism. Unfortunately, after today, I will no longer shop here. There are other stores with good prices that provide much better customer service and respect their customers. For management's reference, basic cashier responsibilities include: * Safely and efficiently bagging customer purchases * Organizing heavy and fragile items appropriately * Separating raw meat, food, and cleaning chemicals * Considering customer preferences * Providing efficient and courteous service Management should address this issue and ensure that customer service standards are consistently followed.

Though it does have the smallest of food courts, I really enjoy their fruit snd veggie layout - it's nice and easier to navigate. I also prefer their seafood and sushi here more than other locations. I do think other locations have a larger variety of certain things, but for some reason, this one feels more authentic. In most of these locations, the service is not the best, but I'm not coming here for the best. If you're on the lookout for some asian inspired food, unique fruits and veggies, things specific to south Korea, I would come here and I'd start with this location, as it's better than the other ones in my opinion.

As we were waiting in the checkout line to finish our purchase, a non-Asian guy behind us tried to get my buddy to buy his drink for him. My buddy said no and the non-Asian guy said it was a joke. He then proceeded to being racist and called my buddy Chinese as an assumption. He then made remarks about China. My buddy told him to not be racist and the non-Asian guy got defensive and started shouting profanity at him. Afterward, we left H-Mart and he continued to follow us for a bit and continued to argue with my buddy (stalking and verbal harassment). His action proves that he was drunk, racist, and violent. I do not recommend going to this H-Mart as an Asian girl. Because if a non-Asian guy can do that to an Asian guy, he can do that to anyone. H-Mart needs to teach their employees to intervene rather than be bystanders. Otherwise, they need to hire security.

Most of the products I've purchased here consistently have healthier ingredient lists, with fewer artificial or unnecessary ingredients. That said, I don't automatically assume everything marketed as healthy is what it claims to be. Ingredients like avocado oil, for example, have faced questions about purity and adulteration, so a healthy-looking label isn't necessarily a guarantee. There is more variety of whole foods and less-common fruits and vegetables, rather than just the usual staples of apples, bananas, lettuce, and carrots. Also, the discounted meat that typically has the yellow tag to indicate clearance looked a little bit suspect, as it was significantly more brown then the rest of the ground meat in the cooler section. The Jamboree location will often have yellow tagged meat but it always looks little to no different than the regular priced meats (with the obvious caveat that the best by purchase date is approaching quickly). The store itself is very clean and I thought it was interesting that the bathroom requires a code to enter. The selection is good and the Sprouts rewards helps provide a little kickback if you plan to continue shopping here. The self checkout section is quite convenient as it's really easy to search for your produce items if the produce itself does not include a label (also there's no confusion on which type of produce is selected since they have a limited selection, for example two kinds of garlic). Would certainly return here for my grocery needs!

I also had trouble finding many of the items I normally buy at Mitsuwa--they simply didn't seem to be stocked on the shelves. The prepared foods were another disappointment. The selection didn't seem nearly as appealing or extensive as what I've found at the Torrance location. I ended up picking up a few things, but was surprised to find that they were more expensive than similar items at another Japanese grocery store in the area, which I visited afterward. Overall, I'd choose the Torrance location over Irvine based on this visit. The Irvine store just didn't have the selection, atmosphere, or value I've come to expect from Mitsuwa.

I understand stores get busy, but this feels more like a General Management issue than a staffing issue. When operations are consistently backed up and disorganized, that responsibility falls on leadership. A good manager steps in, rolls up their sleeves, and helps get things back on track. If you're ordering delivery or planning a pickup, I'd strongly recommend choosing another Albertsons or a nearby Ralphs instead. This location seems to struggle with basic order management, and unfortunately it shows.
