I made a bundle deal with Stephen the owner, his guys replaced the 22 years old hvac, the 28 years old gas water heater and they installed a 240 Volt outlet for my ev charger with the best price in town (I know this because I have asked around), the company is Licensed, bonded and they will only do under code and safety standard! I'm a business owner myself, and reputation is paramount. Based on others positive experience with the company, I approve! His crew were friendly and polite. They cleaned the trash right after. I met Stephen dad, Stephen's business partner when he dropped off the units. He was a gentleman and friendly. My husband and I did a through research and had 10 different companies come out and give us quotes. The ranges and advise were very far apart. Example of some of the lower ranges were they thought they could convince us that the existing ducting after 32 years was still good to use. Stephan the owner of Alanis spent several hours with us going over our options as we have a 3,000 sq foot house. We wanted split units. His pricing was affordable and actually less than some of the higher quotes. He not only replaced all the old ducting, but followed through in a professional and timely manner with all that was promised. Had complete system r replaced, A/C failed with in a three week period. Techs determined problem and even though it was hottest week of the year, had to order part from Texas, has been three days.​8-5-25 Per Stephan part ordered due in today , communication terrible , hopefully repaired today, supposed to have techs by after install in Corona around 2 to 3.. no show apparently ordered complete outside system, scheduled to replace Friday. A few months ago we had Alanis Air install an HVAC system. Stephan delivered on everything he promised regarding price and service. Stephan also kept in constant contact with us throughout the whole process which had a delayed start because of the fires. His installation team worked over two days to seamlessly remove our old units and install our new Lenox AC and Furnace system, including new ductwork and a digital thermostat. The team of two worked together on certain aspects and independently on others to maximize efficiency. Stephan also facilitated the financing for the entire project. My experience with Stephan and his team at Alanis Air was that they were tidy, trustworthy and transparent about the entire process. To date our heating bill is lower than last year and looking forward to our AC also costing less with this new unit. Well when I posted online looking for AC business I could trust. Well Tony Alan is called me and gave me a price I thought was fair. They had to remove my old split system and install a new 35,000 btu system. He told me he operates on a flat rate so the price was firm. Between the 2 weeks of rain they finally got over here yesterday. Arrived 11:45 left at 4:30 pm. 2 young men who were as professionaly and respectful. I showed them the job and they just went to work. They were efficient and when they were done it was like they were never here. Cleaned up and removed the old unit. I needed a quote and called 3 different companies. 2 were scheduled someone to come and check out the issue, this company Alanis Air just called me and said any repairs will costs $2-3k and he can change my heating system!!!!! I highly recommend Alanis Air. My pilot light went out on my furnance. I had another company come out to service it. The furnance was 47 years old and the technician stated he had to see if he could get parts for it. I didn't want to invest that much money into a furnance that was that old. The company that came out couldn't quote me a price on a new furnance. I had no heat and needed a furnance quick. I went to Angie List and was sent about 6 companies that they recommended. I sent a request to all the companies and Stephan from Alanis Air was the first one to call me back. He was very friendly and quoted me a price. I called him back and asked if someone could come out to confirm the work would be the price he quoted. This was around 8pm and he stated that he would send someone. I was walking my dog and saw an an Alanis Servcie truck parked in front of my neighbors home. I talked with the Tech regarding the unit being installled and he directed me to his brother Stephan for assistance. I am so happy that I followed up on his advise. Stephan was very knowledgable about the AC/ Heat Pump units needed for our home. He then suggested that we should change out the air handler because it was also very old ( the original ) in our home and ran on high voltage. The price we got was very competitive and the unit ranked top of the line ( 5 star rating). The install was setup for the following week ( amazing). Rami & Fadi showed up for the install and were very professional & couteous. The worked together alternating jobs but also working togther in a precise manner. They had laid down floor covering for the removal of the upstairs old handler so nothing would get soiled. The outside area was spotless when they were finished. The old unit was taken away and a new thermostat installed. We will be able to recoup some of the cost from State & Federal Tax credits because our units exceed the qualifications. Recently Alanis Air was asked to add central air conditioning to our house. At the same time, we had our old furnace replaced. The price was competitive and done within 2 weeks of our contract approval. This winter our furnace was emitting an odor that was not acceptable. Tony worked with us to try to solve the problem. After more than 20 years, it was finally time to replace the entire HVAC system in my house. I secured bids from three well-known HVAC companies in the San Diego area. Each of their quotes was within a couple thousand dollars of the others. I was about to sign on with one of them when I found a booklet of home-improvement advertisements that came in the mail. Under full disclosure I project manage commercial construction for a living. I had one of the two air conditioners go out in my home on one of the hottest days of the year and called Tony at Alanis Air. I never have done business with Alanis Air before but they came right away when others I've done business with said 10 days was the soonest they could help. They came out in an hour, on a Saturday and figured out what the problem was. The fan motor was failing and the compressor motor was also not doing well. It was not worth fixing a 15 year + AC unit using R-22 Freon knowing it would be illegal to buy in 6 months, so I asked for a quote to replace both. After calling several friends I determined the price to be fair and reasonable. I checked their state contractor's license and they checked out. They agreed to be out on Monday and install one AC unit, coil and furnace and said on Tuesday they would finish the job with the second unit, coil and furnace. That was exactly what they did. The left we with one working AC unit the entire time so I could sleep. I was very impressed with the quality of the installation and workmanship. They protected my Teak floors and did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. I would recommend them to my friends. The crew was thoughtful and considerate. I set up an appt. in the morning to have thermostat installed. I have to drive about 30 minutes to my rental so called to make sure we were confirmed before I left my house. Was assured it was confirmed. Got to my condo and waited 40 minutes and it was a no show. Called who I think was the owner. He tried calling his installer. Owner called me back said it was going to voicemail. He was very apologetic. Said he could send someone out later in the day. I understand things happen and things come up but you got to communicate. We strive to be on time 100 percent of the time and it didn't happen. We know you had to drive 30 minutes to meet us and then 30 minutes back home and then on top of that wait another 40 minutes for our installer. We want to make it right by you and we will install the thermostat and cover the $99 ourselves. We hope you will give us this opportunity to make it right" UPDATE After posting my review I did receive a call from the owner with the message that they would take care of the install for free. Stephan Alanis, owner, came out to give a free estimate. I am an informed customer and decided I wanted to go with a Lennox 2 stage condenser and heating unit. Stephan came right to the chase and gave me his bottom line price and assessment after he reviewed my aging AC/Heating system. He have me extra incentive to make a quick decision and I did so and glad I did. Although I already had another estimate on similar system, his price was much more reasonable and I could tell he was knowledgeable and wanted to do business. Although I had other contractors scheduled to give prices, I was able to determine that Stephan was giving me a very good price for the product I was getting. I subsequently cancelled other estimates. His installers were professional, organize and cleaned their work areas before leaving each day (3 days). Because I was previously trained in ac/heating installation in the past, over 35 years ago, I was still able to tell that these installers took no short cuts and took their time to make sure all was done according to code and my expectation. The final product was a high quality installation that matched the high end system. Stephan did a final walk thru at end of the job to make sure that all met his and my expectations. I will again review this installation in 6 months when they will come out and check that all is in top working order.
