I've come here often because of the service and affordable prices. Alam's Cleaners is located in the Lone Hill Shopping Center next to Enterprise. They do have parking available right in front of the business. I recently picked up a blazer that was dry-cleaned. On my last visit, my husband had a suit that needed dry cleaning and I had two pairs of jeans that needed hemming. I requested to keep the original hem for both. Alam's has been a reliable spot for my family and myself to get dry cleaning done. Alam's has been around for a while and I've been happy each time when I get my suit and vest dry-cleaned. The staff has always been efficient and timing on dates on when they are ready. I've' dropped off clothes to get dry-cleaned multiple times this year already for myself and my dad. My wife comes here to get alterations done too. The pricing I believe is reasonable, but I mainly continue to come here because the staff is always nice and they open early and close late which fits my schedule. ( ^_^)b read more

This review is for Annie only.! I have been coming to this dry cleaners for 20 years. I prefer Annie over anyone else. Annie listens the man does not.! I really appreciate them and how nice our clothes come out. Annie pays attention to details and she listens unlike the man that works here. I brought my husbands jacket in to have a new zipper put in, I waited 12 days and went to pickup everything and I noticed the broken zipper wasn't replaced he didn't do what I had asked for. I asked him why wasn't the zipper replaced ? He said because it will coast $5.00 and $2.00 for me to have someone replace the zipper. I said I originally didn't care what it coast, I will pay it. I waited another 12 days and this time the zipper was replaced and they did a beautiful job on my husband's jacket. This place is Busy, prices are good, parking is tough. Thank you Annie! read more

So I've been going to this cleaners for off and on for years but not sure if new owner or new staff but when I dropped off my sons cleaned clothes to be pressed only I saw the receipt and ask what the price was I saw it was $22.00 for cleaning ladies adult prices she said she have someone fix the price. So then I picked up the clothes a week later price wasn't changed and I ask why the clothes are half the size of women so less work and they have a 10% off Yelp coupon they wouldn't offer that either. So I'm done with this dry cleaner for good s as bd don't recommend them as of current. read more

They have new owner!! Their service is phenomenon!!!! They cut down the price on all levels and their quality of service is truly FANTASTIC!!! I love their kind and upbeat personality toward their customers and they willing to help my needs any way they can!! If you have lots of clothes to pick up, the owner bring the clothes to your car so you don't fall or drop the clothes on the ground. Been coming here for all my dry cleaning needs for the last ten years. Being the picky person that I am, I wouldn't go anywhere else. They really take care of my clothes and do a great work and in timely manner. Now they know what to do with most of my clothes and pull them out for pickup when they happen to see me walking from the parking lot. Some may think they're a little more pricey than others, but I'm a believer in you-get-what-you-pay-for as that's how things work in business and in life! If something is too good to be true, it typically is. And if too cheap, there's a reason for that. Some suits that I paid quite a lot for, I'd like to keep that clean for a long time, so I go here to get them cleaned as I trust their work. One time I even took our drapes in to get it cleaned as it was kinda stinky. Don't think we ever cleaned it since we bought it (hey who cleans their drapes?!!). And they went out of their way to make sure there was no stinkiness. Told me they had to clean it multiple times to make that happen. The result was a like-new drapes that smelt like... clean drape! What else.. Haha. Anyways, I thought I'd drop a note to appreciate their service. They now know me and my pickiness, but never failed to do an awesome job so far and it's been ten years! read more

I have been going here for years and the quality of service has gone down hill. The shirts are not ironed well. Last week got a shirt back that had been torn in front in a few places and back bottom had threads torn, this was a brand new shirt and she said see saw it before, but how does a shirt get torn in so many places by being worn once to work, it is office work not construction, and never had a torn shirt, this was a very expensive shirt from Nordstrom, very dissatisfied, will try somewhere else after 20 plus years going to this cleaners read more

What seemed like was the start to something beautiful...ended up horrible. I got to the store front and the lady opened the door. I went there for dry cleaning of the following: 4 pairs of women's pants 1 men's suit $14.95 1 woman's suit $14.95 Total for all of this $53.75. I told her that was expensive to see if she was overcharging me. She said no that's the total. I said forget it and went off to Boys cleaners on the other side of strip mall. Same items would only be $33.50. Yeah $20 bucks cheaper!!! That's almost 5 gallons of gas! The service after I said I was going to leave of course deteriorated. But Boys cleaners has a high rating and are much cheaper. I'll post a review of Boys once I get my clothes back. So really...1 star for their really high prices!!!! read more

So I went in with 2 new dress shirts. Waited to be acknowledged for a good 2-3 minutes all while the lady was in front of the store. Anyway, I have an adult and a child dress shirt which I need pressed because obviously they're new shirts and wouldn't need any other cleaning. The old lady at the front (which looked like she didn't want to help me in the first place) said "No, press too expensive for you" REALLY? How does she know how much I want to spend? Stereotyping much? I replied ok "how much?" She said as she's shaking her head "too much, $4.99". For a freaking press? WOW! I then ask how much for laundry (wash and press) she said $1.75 a shirt for wash AND press. How does that make any sense? I'm blown away, logically that makes ZERO sense. Can't believe how much this lady is a grouch and automatically doesn't want to help me nor make money. I guess business is good OR if I was Asian like the lady who walked in as we were talking (I absolutely HATE using the race card) she greeted her promptly and was sweet with her. Screw this place and that old nasty lady in the front. Needless to say i went to BOYS CLEANERS in the same strip mall across from Starbucks. Guy there is super sweet, good looking & very professional. read more

My experience here was so bad it was almost comical. My wife asked me to have a stitch repaired on one of her dresses. A very basic repair that would take any competent seamstress a few minutes to correct. I pull into one of four empty parking spaces in front of Alam's Cleaners. In the window is a large sign that says "alterations & repairs". Almost immediately upon parking, I notice a woman glaring at me from inside the cleaners, beyond the counter. I exit my vehicle and walk around to the back door to retrieve the dress from the rear seat. When I turn back around to enter the business, the woman from inside is now standing out front with the door propped open, still glaring. I thank her for opening the door for me and walk inside. I put the dress on the counter and show her the loose stitch, and tell her I would like it repaired. She abruptly tells me she doesn't do that. No explanation of why not, but a business that supposedly does alterations & repairs does not actually do simple alterations, or repairs. I exit the business and look around to see if there are any other cleaners in this strip mall. The woman from Alam's follows me outside and says, "you leave now." I say, excuse me? She tells me to move my car which is still the only vehicle in any of the four spots marked "20 Minute Parking" in front of the cleaners. I tell her I have 20 minutes parking there. She replies it is only for Alam's Cleaners. Dumbfounded, I remind her I was just in there trying to give her business. She responds, "yeah, you move car!" So, in addition to their inability to do minor garment repair, Alam's Cleaners also has horrible customer service. I will not be back. read more
