I wasn't looking to spend too much on preserving my dress since you never know if you'll ever pass it along or wear it again. I knew I had to get my second look dry cleaned anyways so before I drove all the way to Costa Mesa for a quote from a dress preservation company, I did some research and noticed S Grand cleaners had good reviews and offered dress preservation. They were able to give me a good deal since we had multiple pieces. My wedding gown turned out beautiful in the box! I also like that it has a window. The only downside is that it's a pretty large box to store but I'm also unsure if that's just because of the size of my dress. They did an amazing job and gave great customer service. For my second look outfit, I had gloves, a corset, scarf, and skirt. They were very dirty after the wedding. Full of my foundation and self tanner. I honestly did not think they would be able to get it all out but they did!!! I was in awe and very happy. Everything only took 2 weeks which was quick and they were nice enough to help me out to my car. I also love that they sent me videos, which I have uploaded here.

Although I was unable to have my coat resized due to the need for it within three days and the shop's inability to resize and return it to me in six days, I was still happy with the service I received. I specifically asked if altering the straps would change the cowl neck and she assured me it would not. A week later, I returned to find only the hem had been altered. The safety pin was still on the shoulder strap, meaning it had been missed. They apologized and asked me to come back the following week. When I returned again, the strap alteration was done, but the dress had what looked like oil stains throughout. They offered to have it dry cleaned, which meant waiting another week. After the stains were removed, I tried the dress on and found that the strap alteration had completely changed the front of the dress. The cowl neck I was assured would stay the same was gone, and the fabric was pulled tightly against my chest. When I pointed it out, Rosie said that was expected. Had I been told that from the start, I never would have had the straps altered. What was supposed to be a simple one-week alteration turned into a process that took over three weeks. Between the missed alteration, the stains, and ultimately ending up with a dress that no longer looked the way I was assured it would, I left extremely disappointed. After paying over $150, I expected better communication, greater attention to detail, and honesty about what the alterations would realistically do to the dress. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future customers so they can make informed decisions before altering garments they care about.

Post Covid saw another ownership change and increased prices. New owners are nice, but my complaint is that they wear such strong cologne that our clothes now come home reeking for days. We air them out, but then our house ends up smelling, too. I asked about fragrance-free services, thinking maybe it was the laundry detergent. Woman at the front seemed like she didn't understand, but said yes. Gave them another try. Clothes still reek, which is what led me to believe it must be cologne/perfume they wear on their person that's smelling up the clothes. After 17 years we're sadly on the lookout for a new place. :/

How the heck were they able To charge me again without me Being there to swipe my card.
