Very disappointing! I have been coming here for quite some time, and every time I drop off an article of clothing they go over it with a fine tooth comb and point out any flaws that the item may have. This morning I went to go pick up my sweaters, and I noticed a hole in one of them. I asked the lady about it and she said that was there. I told her no it was not. This was a sweater that I received as a gift, wore at one time took it to the cleaners. She said it was there when I brought it in. She didn't pointed out when she looked at it when I took the clothes in. I'm done with this place! read more

Came here with a coat to be dry cleaned. Charged me $6.75. Then the lady wanted to charge another damn dollar for something. I said " I already gave you almost 7 dollars and you want another?!" I don't think its worth it. I don't trust em, organic cleaning or not. They don't have a certificate of verification posted up in their establishment about their so called organic cleaning. Disappointed after being a loyal customer for 10 years. When I picked up my daughter's sweater stained with dry cleaning solution, I immediately pointed it out to the husband and wife owners. They acted like they didn't even know me, claimed not to speak english, and claimed the sweater was stained before they cleaned it... Very sad ... they don't know what a customer is. read more

CONSUMER BEWARE!!! Don't take your clothes here! They will shrink them! We took 12 items, mainly men's dress shirts and slacks, and they shrank them! My husbands sleeves are 2-3 inches shorter. Worst part is we just bought most of this clothes in July for a new job. I spoke to the owner and she said she couldn't do anything about it! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! The worst dry clean ever! I came here first time to dry clean a white shirt. Of course it was the last time as well! I clearly told the receptionist an oil stain needed to be cleaned. She didn't marked or put a tape on it, however, she just put it away and said they would check it again when they washed it. When I picked up the shirt and checked the spot, they didn't clean it at all! The man told me if the stain was still there meant the stain couldn't be removed whatever. And he said, they could make it perfect or satisfied on everything. What? I didn't ask for perfection, instead of it, I only required to remove an oil stain. They didn't try to clean again but shirked their responsibility. I took the shirt home and utilized bleach to clean the stain. Guess what?! Whola! The so-call "forever" stain was removed in a minute! Why did I waste $3.75? $3.75 was just for them keeping my shirt for few days, with NO CLEAN?! Ok, thank you for your storage room! read more

I try giving this place a second try as is it very close to my home. I brought some of my clothing that where stain with a beer that popped open inside my luggage bag as I was returning home from a trip. The cloth was still wet and smelled like beer. The Asian old lady in the front turned down my business and did not want to dry clean my clothes. She told me to fist wash it at home and bring it in. My clothes that was dirty is all brand name high end clothes and I never wash anything of that at home. Always get everything dry cleaned. Anyways I didn't appreciate her turning down my business. Used to be a customer here until I decided to stop in and pick up some clothes. My wife usually grabs it but I was in the area. I started asking questions about certain materials based on the other yell reviews and by golly they couldn't have proven those other ones more right. I was the only customer and both employees couldn't be botheted. They were rudeextremely ruse and I reminded then I was a customer already she hit me with a shoulder shrugm. Ruined my jacket!! I told the lady how expensive my jacket was and since there was black and white in the jacket I told her if she couldn't do it then don't! She did it anyway and some kind of chemical bled on to the white leaving blue spots all over it. She was not sorry she kept saying even though the jacket was expensive they used cheap lining that made it bleed. I asked if it could be done and she kept assuring me she would test it and if it was okay she would dry clean but she was very careless! Never coming back! Also it took her more than 10 minutes to find my dry cleaning in the first place! read more

This was my first time going to this cleaners and it was horrible. At first glance the establishment seems very good clean and well kept. Thomas was the first point of contact I had he was very understanding and receptive to my cleaning needs. Today I picked up my 7 shirts and 2 pants for work 3 out of the 7 shirts had red stains on them the old Asian lady who is HORRIBLE. I am very livid she said my shirts were "so filthy and they were hard to clean" which isn't true at all I sit behind a desk all day the only thing that gets dirty is the collar and cuffs on the shirts. I told her I wanted them re-cleaned she was upset but accepted then after discovering the same problem with two other shirts I did not pay them for those three shirts the rest looked very good luckily if not I had no choice to go to another cleaner and hope they can do a miracle to help me out. The Asian lady also was lying to customers saying my shirts were difficult as I complained aloud I asked other customers inside how they liked those worked and some said good and others said they weren't coming back they cut too many corners. Once I paid for what was actually cleaned I was told never to return which upset me even more I really liked their work just wanted what I was paying for I will attempt to speak with Thomas the older woman is incompetent and closed minded. read more

I will never go there again. I washed my Shirt there. They didn't clean the stain on my shoulder and said "we can't do perfect"

This is the worst ever cleaners. I brought him a long Taylor made dress with butter stain on it to be cleaned. I marked the 2 spots with tapes, telling him what it was. It took a week and when I picked it up today, the stain at the 2 spots were gone but there were marks at 2 different places, one is on the shoulder and one by the waistline which were not there before. I asked him what happened and he kept telling me because I used a napkin to wipe off the butter so now he cannot fix it!!! I wore the dress for the rest of the evening at the church, I cannot just leave the butter on it all day. I took the dress to him after that. I did not even attempt with anything else. He got the stains out, the new stains looked like the stain from chemical he use to work on the other areas. I cannot talk much to him since his English is very limited. All I am telling is THIS IS MY FIRST AND LAST TIME! I WILL NEVER COME BACK AGAIN! My dress is now ruined. It was a silk dress I had it Taylor made by a dressmaker. They are only friendly until you start requesting the owners to redo clothes they missed cleaning properly. One or two times of asking them to redo, they then tell you not to come back. No reason given. Very discriminatory. Avoid coming to Berkely Square Cleaners. Not friendly at all. read more

I've been going to this dry cleaners for a few months. There was a couple of occasions when I would drop things off to be cleaned and they had questions but did not bother to contact me comma so when I went in to pick up my assumably clean clothes they were not ready. Each time I asked them to call me so that I wouldn't be waiting for nothing but they never did. The last straw was when I went to pick up clothes, paid the bill and realized that there was an alteration charge on the bill. When I questioned the charge the husband said it was a mistake the wife told me it was a charge from a couple of times before that they forgot to charge me for. I explained that I had always paid my bill in full and had not gotten pants hemmed in three months The two of them argued back and forth about it but she refused to take the charge off of my bill. The woman was very rude and acted as if I was trying to keep her in some way. read more

Tom and Ann have provided my wife and me superior customer service the past 14 years. Tom and Ann represent the best of Southern California with respect to the melding pot of cultures in America. We have used their dry cleaning (average twice a week) and tailoring services. I see that among the reviewers there was one reviewer that was critical of the customer service. Obviously, this reviewer's experience was an anomaly and should to totally disregard. Both Tom and Ann always remember our names and always respectfully address us with a wave and a smile very time we enter their store. Ann's tailoring services are professional and always completed on time and the pricing always undercuts other local tailors. I'm an executive officer for a federal agency and we have lived in seven different States in the past 25 years and have had the occasion to use many dry cleaners. None hold a candle to Tom and Ann in either the quality of service or the warm heartedness of the services. We strongly recommend this dry cleaner. read more
