Lex Easy Wash & Fold Front Entrance

Today was a soft opening. Was blessed to be invited to come down and try their washer and dryers plus complimentary goodies. Everything inside is new and nice. Love the layout of this place. So urban like. My type of place to wash clothes. The feeling once entered felt home like. The floor and color scheme is very nice! Loved it. The machines are placed accordingly and organized. It's very spacious, plenty of room in case this place gets extra crowded. The price is fairly price. The dryers are .25cents and add as needed. Since all machines are new, it's the best time to come and try it for yourself. I definitely recommend this location due to their outstanding customer service experience. Very clean and sanitized. Their parking lot is spacious and easy access. They have a restroom for your convenience. This place is unique in their own way, from design and presentation, it's pretty nice. If you're in the area, stop by and say hi. Share your experience. P.s. Don't forget to smile cause you're beautiful. SYOY!

#1 for 2024 I was fortunate enough to attend a soft opening of this new facility. Located in Covina on Azusa Ave. You can easily get to it from the 210 FWY, then head south on Azusa. Or the 10 FWY, then head north. The event was on a late Sunday afternoon. Parking was easy. Not sure what it would be like during the rest of the week. It is in a center with some interesting businesses so it could get a little hectic. The center itself could use a make over. However, inside Lex is brand spanking new. The walls are redone. The machines are all brand new with every type needed. That's a lot of chrome to polish. There is a small room in the back for a agent to handle soap sales and other cleaning products you may need. The cost per wash is about $2.50 per load. Three big screen TVs are high on the southside of the wall. That should be good to entertain you kids if you need to bring them. The location is very convenient. Next to them is Fuego a Mexican restaurant. And close by an ice cream shop. Right across is Nova's Grill. A Filipino restaurant serving delicious food. Now that you got your laundry started you might as well get some Filipino food to eat then top that off with some ice cream. Don't be surprise, later on, if they start selling lumpia, halo halo and other goodies from the back. Maybe a frequent flyer card will allow you to earn points to get free food from Nova's Grill.

I was invited to a soft opening and 'blessing" of this neighborhood laundromat. The official Grand Opening is on January 13th. This is a completely remodeled facility. All washers and dryers are brand new. There are standard washing machines, plus heavy duty ones that will accommodate large and bulky items. At the rear of the building is a counter to purchase detergent and fabric softener. There is a very clean gender-neutral bathroom, no tokens needed to enter. Lex is the owner and gave everyone a flyer to return for a complimentary wash. During the soft opening with his family and friends, he invited a Priest to pray and bless his business. After the prayers, his family provided a buffet dinner for all guests. Support family owned businesses whenever you can.

New shiny machines ready to go

I don't go to laundromats often unless I need to wash a rug or something that's too big for my machines. Every place I've been to feels run down, old and dirty. Enter Lex, a brand new place with shiny new machines, a bright well lit interior and updated decor. There are also large TV's hanging up high, though I haven't been around to watch any programs yet. The owner is very friendly and takes pride in his business. If you need to get your laundry duties done, this is the place. There's plenty of parking in this plaza, there are new large machines that can handle several loads at once, and if you're hungry while waiting, go check out Nova's Grill across the street. Great Filipino food!

I have been to other laundromat places. And this one will be my go to from now on. I need big washing machines for my comforters but sometimes they are filthy and it grosses me out. This place has plenty of parking as is in the shopping center next to smart and final, you can smell clean as you are walking in, machines are brand new or really well maintained I really appreciate that. They also provide wash and fold service if you prefer and save some time to do other stuff. Luis is really attentive and answers to any questions.

New owners for this laundry place remodeled everything. All the machines are brand spanking new. I did not know there are machines capable of taking 8 loads of laundry. There are more that take 6 loads. Dryers are only 25¢? Did I see that correctly? If you don't have time, have them fold service for you. They will take care of your clothes and pick it up later when it's done. These machines will be great for large items like comforters, big doggie beds and bedding, or just clothes you don't want to do at home. I'm just glad there is a new place nearby with a few food options while you wait for the cycles to finish.

Super clean facility. The man overseeing the laundromat was so kind with me as I asked a multitude of questions because it's my first time in about 30 years that I've had to wash at a laundromat. Prices were reasonable and they also offer wash and fold services - $1.50/lb.

Not from the area, had to do an emergency load after a toddler fiasco while traveling. This place was open early on a Sunday (6am). Coin machine was working ( thank god) and there were plenty of top load and front loading options. I'm a big fan of the speedy queen washers. I was also very grateful their soap dispenser was loaded so I was able to get some detergent. Top loader washers were $3 a load, speedy queen $5 a load. Dryers a quarter gets you 8 minutes (not bad). I didn't have a ton of stuff in the dryer so I was surprised it took me 5-6 quarters to dry the blanket and few pieces of car seat. All in all the place was clean, lots of space for folding and plenty of washers and dryers for when things really get busy.

Your response is pathetic, shame on you. I came here because I like washing my bedding at a laundromat instead of at home, and I figured it was time to try somewhere new. I've been to Daisy's Laundromat down the street before, but Badillo Launderland had decent reviews so I thought I'd give it a shot. I showed up around 8 in the morning hoping for a quick in and out trip. When I walked in, my first impression was that the place is pretty small. There are only two aisles of machines. The upside was that it was almost empty when I arrived. The only other person there was a woman who looked like she was working on one of the machines. I assumed she might work there, but there was no greeting, no smile, nothing. Just a very cold presence. Luckily she stepped out shortly after, which meant I had the whole place to myself for a while. I used two of the large washers that hold about forty pounds each, which cost around six dollars per wash. One thing I noticed right away is that they offer two payment methods. You can use coins or you can use a card through a smart payment system attached to the machines. Paying with a card comes with a fee though. Even if it is small, it still adds to the total every time you run a machine, so I decided to stick with coins. I exchanged about fifteen dollars at the coin machine and got started. My plan was simple. Wash, dry, and be out within an hour like I usually do when I wash bedding. While the washers were running, I started noticing things that made the place feel a little off. The cleaning seemed very superficial. At first glance it looks maintained, but once you actually look closely you see layers of dust and grime in places that clearly have not been touched in a long time. There is a vent on the ceiling that was so dusty it honestly looked like it had been ignored for years. Another thing that stood out was the number of security cameras. I counted about twelve. That is a lot for a laundromat this size, and they were not even the same type of cameras. Some looked newer and others older. Ironically many of them were dusty too, which just added to the overall feeling that maintenance is inconsistent here. Things really started going downhill once it was time to dry my bedding. I normally use several dryers so everything finishes quickly, so I loaded up six dryers at once. The price is a quarter for seven minutes. I put in fourteen minutes to start, which should be plenty for lighter bedding like sheets. To my surprise, most of the dryers barely produced heat. Out of the six dryers I used, only two of them actually worked the way they should. The others were spinning but clearly not heating properly. At that point I started burning through coins trying to figure out which machines were actually functioning. Time is valuable, and this is where the frustration kicked in. To make things worse, the coin machine ran out of coins while I was still trying to dry everything. This was around eight in the morning on a Tuesday. Running out of coins that early in the day is honestly baffling. I had no choice but to use the smart card system that charges a small fee. At that point I just wanted my bedding dry, so I threw everything into the two dryers that actually worked and maxed out the time. What should have been a quick visit ended up stretching well past an hour, and even then the bedding was not as hot and dry as I usually like it. Another issue is how cramped the place feels once other people start showing up. When I first arrived it was peaceful, but as more customers walked in the tight layout became obvious. People were basically maneuvering around each other in close quarters while trying to move laundry between machines. It made the whole process feel rushed and uncomfortable rather than smooth and relaxing. I will give them one positive note. The music playing inside was actually great. Whoever picked that playlist clearly has good taste because the songs were a vibe. Unfortunately I came here to wash laundry, not to discover new music. By the time that same woman came back later, she still had the same cold demeanor and I decided it was not even worth bringing up the dryer issues. At that point I just wanted to finish and leave. Between the poorly heating dryers, the coin machine running out early in the morning, and the overall maintenance issues, the experience left a really bad impression. It is a shame because the location is convenient and the parking is easy, but I will not be coming back. Hopefully this review helps others know what to expect. If you come here, be prepared to test a few dryers before you find one that actually works.

HOW DO PEOPLE LOVE THIS PLACE? 2024 & 2025…read more Broken broken broken. I came here because the Yelp rating was around four stars, so I genuinely expected something decent, or at least functional and clean. Unfortunately, this was not what I experienced at all. When I arrived, I was greeted by a man who appeared to be homeless. I am not saying this with judgment, just sharing context because it became relevant to the environment. At first, I didn't realize he was homeless until later when he began talking with another man about rehab, drug use, and going to a center. It was early in the morning, and that alone already made the space feel uncomfortable. On top of that, it wasn't even obvious this was a laundromat because the blinds were closed, so from the outside it looked dark and uninviting. Once inside, the overall condition of the place was shocking. Dirty, run down, broken machines everywhere, and honestly embarrassing for anyone involved. The machines themselves were a headache. I had to keep feeding quarters into the washers and then repeatedly ask for my money back because they wouldn't work properly. I had to try multiple times just to get a dryer going. Pricing has clearly gone up since it's dollars just to get twenty minutes of dry time, which would be fine if the machines actually worked consistently. The sinks, hand washing area, and restroom were especially bad. Everything felt grimy and neglected, like surface level cleaning is done just enough to say it's cleaned, but the deeper filth and chronic buildup are very much still there. It's hard to ignore how worn down and dirty everything is. What bothered me most is that it seems like this location is being used as a resting spot for people who are not there to do laundry, and they stay for long periods of time. I assume management is aware since there are cameras, and these individuals are there far longer than a quick stop. That gives the impression that management simply does not care, and that's not something I'm comfortable with as a customer. I didn't feel unsafe, but I was definitely on high alert the entire time, and that's not how you should feel while doing something as simple as laundry. While the machines technically do their job, nothing about this place feels well maintained or inviting. I will not be returning, and I do not recommend this location unless serious changes are made. Also, the unhoused individuals were talking about taking things they found. I just came to wash but witnessed trauma.

When I arrived there was washers and dryers available and I did not have to wait to load my items. Keep in mind the change machine does not work for $20 bills, so you need to bring smaller bills. The washer was fairly quick and dealt with my comforters in about 30 minutes. The dryers appear to be good quality and handled the drying duties in about 24 minutes. I would come here again to wash larger items I can't take care of at home.
