Chicken mandi
Sheela K.

I love that Al Madina is open late around 10pm if I'm not wrong and right off the highway almost (85) My 5 stars is solely based on the grocery store in general. You can buy cute Turkish, irani, Arab style tea sets and cups, halal meat is fresh, halal deli meats, baklava, all kinds of groceries especially stuff you can't find everywhere such as barberries for jeweled rice, tagine seasoning, some saffron for under 10 bucks, nabeel oud home sprays, attar, dried limes and more! As for the food, I came probably towards 7pm and I think most of the shawarma was gone and I didn't want leftover pieces so I went for the chicken mandi I guess. It was $10.99 or so fair piece and good sides such as the grape leaves and baba ghanouj however the chicken and rice flavors I didn't like too much I'd rate them 2/5. Maybe I'll try the chicken shawarma one day with the veggie sides but until then my 5 stars is solely for the groceries!

This review is for the RESTURANT INSIDE AL MADINA ONLY! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. DO ME A FAVOR AND NEVER DINE HERE. i live an hour and 30 minutes away from Al Madina. I always come and support my fellow Muslims brothers and sisters. I stopped by Al Madina and picked up iftar, i come home and i see mold in the food. I was upset and i called the restaurant, and they answered. I respectfully told them that I ordered food from you all and there was mold in my bread. The man who answered was absolutely rude saying it happens and he couldn't refund me and they give bread to every of their customers. I paid $30 for mold in my food?! The man didn't apologize and handed it to the man name Salaam. He spoke to me but he and the people with him were laughing as I was telling him there's mold in my food. He continued to laugh and this should just show to save your money and eat somewhere else but here. Absolutely disgusted at the behavior and the quality. Customer service is horrible. I will be doing what I can to get this situation handled.

Social distancing, and masks are required. I love Halal seasonings, so I came in to pick up some. Their meat is super clean, and plenty of selections to choose from. I will be back soon.

What an amazing fusion of cultures and people. If I lived in ATL I would definitely go regularly. They have modest fashionable attire for men and women. I bought a couple of beautiful black pieces with embroidery. They have Islamic home decoration pieces. They have spices and for Middle Eastern food and south Asian foods. They sell halal meat in the back as well as a complete restaurant with delicious food on the side. I was able to get spices, castor oil, a prayer mat, incense, hookah, meat, clothes, snacks, hot cooked food, home decoration pieces all in one place! The service from the owner, employer and other customers was pleasing. I will definitely visit again!

Best falafels in Atlanta, and this is truly not up for debate. To know this little gem tucked away in the Halal market is to love it. I've been coming here for 3 years now strictly for falafel wraps and they have yet to disappoint!

Al madina has been a go to in the family for groceries and meals. The food made fresh daily are always a hit. My wife and I love their chicken shwarma and we always ask for extra spice, they always come though. Very friendly service is the icing on the cake!

WOW WOW WOW! I would give this place 6 stars if I could! It's an awesome grocery store with anything you need to cook halal, middle eastern, Mediterranean, etc. The staff is friendly and helpful! We stopped in to get some things we needed to cook for this upcoming week and stopped in at the restaurant inside for lunch. I ordered a falafel platter and they told me they were going to cook it fresh so shop and come back in a few minutes. It was the perfect amount of time and then I came back to some perfectly cooked falafel. You get to choose from different sides like hummus, baba ganoush, tabbouleh, potatoes, olives, and many more! My friend tried the beef shawarma and it was a HUGE portion, definitely could have served both of us with some to spare. Some hot, fresh pita is included as well as onions, pickles, and tomatoes. It's going to be hard for me to resist coming here multiple times a week! Try one of their fresh juices! They have great specials everyday AND make sure you stop by the bakery before you leave for some baklava, bird nest, and many other sweet options filled with honey and happiness

I've driven passed Al Madina for so many years and had no idea what it was until my Desi Bestie told me about it. Al Madina is a Middle Eastern grocery store that has Middle Eastern/Desi ingredients and sells halal meats. I was happy to find goat sold here. I've always bought frozen goat that I could only find at Lilburn Farmers Market. Inside the store, on the left, you will see a small food court that sells snacks like samosas. I'm not a fan of meat samosas but their chicken samosas are to die for! They are so yummy and comes in big triangular shape. There are many desserts for sale too like baklava that is made fresh. Towards the back of the store on the left, you will see a small boutique that sells elegant hijabs. Towards the back of the store is where the halal meats are sold. In the middle of the store, there are aisles of ingredients for sale. Many I am able to find elsewhere but if you're here shopping for the halal meat, then you can come get the rest of your grocery here. Whenever I want good, yummy chicken samosas or buy halal goat, I will come back.

Great find esp if you are seeking ingredients for Middle Eastern, Central Asian, and Indian recipes. Large store with an incredible selection. They also have a bakery with sweets, fresh breads (pita, lavash, and Ethiopian injera bread) and a food stall serving hot foods. Located next to Aldi.

Very classic retro style place. The smell the decor very nostalgic of the 90s. The menu is pretty much self explanatory and there are monthly daily specials and kids eat a full meal for no more than $5 for a sub chips drink annnd cookie. Your local fast food doesn't even come close. My sub was amazing I got the turkey/beef/ham sandwich and my husband sandwich has no complaints made to order not a long wait slices to order simplicity of ingredients. Definitely will be back and worth the wait!

Neither of the sandwiches had cheese, that I specifically added and paid additional. Upon calling to inform that neither of my sandwiches had cheese, not knowing what was the condition of the sandwiches and salads I dropped off at the dog groomers, I was met with "you can come back if you want for another sandwich". Ummmm..... try listening to the consumer. Credit them back the extra they payed that they didn't get. I even tipped $20 cash for just over $100 tab. I'm not driving 45 minutes for a sandwich that could have just been solved with a simple credit back, but sadly, this management is not capable of doing such a simple task. Very poor service and will not patron this establishment going forward. Shameful service.

Giulia Italian Bakery is hands down one of my favorite bakeries in Georgia!…read more Everything here is incredibly fresh, and you can tell they put so much care into what they make. The star of the show for me is the sfogliatelle. It's the one thing that keeps me coming back every single time. It's perfectly flaky on the outside with the most delicious filling inside. The staff is always friendly, the bakery is clean, and the atmosphere is so inviting. I also love that it's located in The Forum, so after grabbing a coffee and a pastry, you can spend some time walking around the shops. My only wish is that they had a few more outlets available. It would be the perfect place to bring a laptop, enjoy a coffee and pastry, and get some work or studying done for a couple of hours.

The space is beautiful and the patio is large, and all the food looks incredible. However when we went inside it was cramped, loud and chaotic, The woman behind the counter did not speak a word to us, only seemed intent on getting us through the line. The interaction with staff will make or break a place like this. We quickly picked two filled doughnuts and rushed to the register. I about fell over when she asked for $14.40! Have we all lost our minds?! So a dozen doughnuts is $84?? No thanks. Enough is enough with average experiences being ridiculously overpriced. At home, the product lacked flavor and freshness. We were disappointed and considered these a waste of money.
