    Beef Koobideh plate

We found this place randomly on the map and decided to check it out. We had a late lunch so didn't order much. We shared a Calamari and Beef Koobideh Plate and had extra to bring home. The calamari was heavily breaded for my taste but the sauce was sooooo good. The portion isn't too big and it comes with a salad. The beef koobideh plate was really good! Will definitely try this place again with a bigger appetite next time.

We enjoyed food from DiBar Grill as takeout! It was packaged well and the food was delicious! We especially loved the Fatoush Salad and Muhammara - the pomegranate molasses in both dishes was fantastic and so flavorful! Our dishes also came with tahini, mint, cheese, and onion. The cheese was delicious and a nice, light add to the dishes. We had falafel on a bed of fresh veggies. The chicken kabob was tasty - the chicken was tender and flavorful. The grilled tomato was yummy and the rice was as expected! The lamb kabob was too gamey for me but my friend loved it. It came with a lentil and caramelized onion rice which was tasty and better than the rice that came with the chicken. I would recommend these items for sure - Fatoush Salad, Muhammara, Chicken Kabob. Can't wait to go back and try some new things!

I have been going here since 2017 with my family and I don't remember ever leaving this place being unhappy. The people who work here always make a point to give us their best service. About the food: The chicken and beef koobideh kabob are my absolute favorites. These come with a good amount of rice, veggie garnishes and sauces. When I don't want to have the saffron rice, I usually get vegetable kabobs with the koobideh which is a really good combo. The cornish hen is my second favorite so I highly recommend it. The decoration is quite elegant with golden lights and plants at every corner. Food is 100% and parking is free.

We were visiting from Sarasota and stoped for lunch This is a real deal, very clean place, amazing service, and to top it the food was very authentic. I will be back if I get to visit again. Dusty was the server and she's very nice.

The rice was amazing the kabob is probably best ones I had it was nothing but juicy. It was a simple but such a delicate tasting kabob. I had also got Mirza ghasemi and it was amazing a tomato and eggplant dish and with the pita bread omg. It was a very healthy and clean dish if wanting to go out and eat and stay healthy.

SO GOOD! My husband and I went here for date night, and sat to the left next to the bar. The bar has a really cool vibe, and everything we ordered was so flavorful and amazing! Larry makes a mean cocktail! I highly recommend the saffron vodka drink (forgot the name), the pomegranate martini, and the margarita! LOVED the fatoush salad, and we split one of the entrees (they will explain each if you need) which was delicious and we finished with walnut baklava for dessert. Can't wait to go back!!

We've been to a few Iranian restaurants before, so we know what we like in a Iranian restaurant when we entered this restaurant after 2pm on a Saturday. The service was very quick and swift, and there was just another table occupied beside us. I ordered beef Koobideh kabob and eggplant dip-- Mirza Ghasemi , my husband ordered lamb Kabob and Shirazi salad. The Salad was very good according to my husband, and his lamb kabob were genuine lamb chunks, while my beef koobideh kabob was made of beef and herb mixture, but they all tasted very good. I am always interested in the seasonings in Iranian food, they are very aromatic and tasteful. It is always a good experience to eat in an Iranian restaurant such as this one.

Beef Kubideh .....yummy. I asked them to cook it juicy, not over done and they got it perfect. The flavor is spot on. Roasted tomatoes are a nice touch. Definitely worth it! Beef Koobideh Kabob

    Baba Ganoush and Sangak Bread

Great Persian spot on the corner of Spalding and Holcomb Bridge, food is delicious, prices are reasonable, and portions are generous. All the customers were Persian so you know it has to be good, and authentic! They have a market too if you want to buy some goodies ... you may even recognize some of the ingredients (e.g., black limes, grilled eggplant puree). I may get a bottle of the rose water next time and make some recipe with it. COMPLIMENTARY BREAD AND HERBS They are well-known for their Sangak bread ... so good and addicting! I couldn't stop eating it. Served w/ fresh basil, butter and feta. BABA GANOUSH - $4.99 Their baba ganoush looked a little different and clearly made of grilled eggplant puree ... not the creamy color I was used to. They use fire roasted eggplant, tahini, spices and herbs. Served w/ the same Sangak bread but it was more like a cracker version. CHICKEN BARG AND BEEF KOOBIDEH KABOB - $16.99 Chicken was very tender, and beef was very flavorful. The kabob dishes are served w/ Sangak bread or Basmati Saffron rice - we opted for the rice. Also came with one grilled tomato, raw onions and cole slaw. GHORMEH SABZI - $12.99 I wasn't a big fan but it was good to try something new. This dish was a slow-cooked stew of sauteed herbs (cilantro, parsley, chives, spinach), Fenu Greek, red kidney beans, one dried lime and chunks of veal ... also served with a big plate of Basmati rice. The parsley flavor of the stew was overpowering ... I did like the kidney beans ... I think we had just 2.5 chunks of veal but it may have been shredded into the stew. We did try a bit of the black lime ... haha probably more for flavoring the stew and not intended to be directly eaten :) I'm definitely returning to try the other kabob and entrees. Food was very good, service was friendly ... and I can't stop thinking of that Sangak bread!

Slow service. Food was okay. Most Persian restaurants offer rice with their entrées. It was disappointing to see that they did not.

We started with the mezze trio served with crudité and pita bread. All of the dips were fresh and flavorful, my personal favorite was the labneh. It was smooth, creamy, and absolutely delicious! For our entrees, I ordered the chicken kabob and my mom chose the lamb kabob. Both dishes came with a grilled tomato, peppers, a red onion salad, rice, and an assortment of sauces. The veggies were refreshing and slightly sweet, and the meats were perfectly seasoned and juicy!! And the sauces were all amazing and truly elevated the entire meal. From the food to the experience, everything was exceptional. We will absolutely be back, and I highly recommend Layaly for a special occasion or any time you want an outstanding meal!

I was offered a table vs. my go to (bar seating) I'm assuming because they weren't very busy. The server was very friendly and made great recommendations, so I went with the chicken kebab. This was marinated in a delicious mixture of flavors and was very tender. The basmati rice was fragrant and steaming hot. For dessert, they recommended the knafeh, a sweet, cheesy, and crunchy traditional dish. This dish came with warmed orange blossom simple syrup which just set the tone for the entire dish. It was so delicious, nothing like I've ever had. The perfect balance of sweet, salty, and crunchy. I will definitely come back here and try more food and definitely that Dubai chocolate cheesecake!
