    Chicken pesto sandwich
    Bethany C.

Was in the area so I went in to grab a sandwich. I got there a little before noon and the place was pretty empty when I went inside but very clean and the workers were friendly most of the sandwiches are around $11-15 and they have some grilled items as well. Got the chicken pesto which was the weekly special and brought it back home to eat. It was still warm when I got back and the sandwich was amazing! The chicken wasn't dry at all and was grilled up well. The pesto was super garlicky and delicious. It got a little messy because of the oil but well worth all the napkins. I wish I got another sandwich just so I could relive that moment again the sandwich isn't a giant sub but I'm quite satisfied with the portion. Would definitely go back to try more sandwiches from here!

Great little spot you'd never know of but they have delicious sandwiches. I was very impressed with the quality of the pastrami and how they got my order perfectly the way I wanted it. Friendly and great place will come back again.

Got to admit, this little sandwich shop tucked away on a busy SOMA corner is pretty dang good! Served hot, just like many of their sandwiches, and just the right amount of bread to meat ratio. Parking can be tricky but this is worth it.

Ordered the breakfast bagel and pastrami. Both very good. It's the type of pastrami I really like which doesn't have too much stringy fatty pieces. For any add on veggies it's like $1.10 which is pricy for a like a slice of tomato.

This is such a great place to grab lunch. I work from home and usually eat leftovers but there are times when there is no leftovers and I like to walk over to AK subs. I usually get the Philly cheesesteak and it just warms the soul. The price for the subs here is great and this place has a lot of regulars that keep on coming because of the subs and prices. The Philly costs about 13 dollars and you can't find that kind of deal in the city. They also are on doordash if it's to far to walk. I will be going back and I recommend this place to everyone who is looking for good lunch deals.

I made a reservation via Yelp for 3 people on a Saturday at 11:15am. My table was ready on time and they seated me even though our full party was running late. I got the Omelette Fried Rice (4.5/5), that came with delicious sriracha bacon, and an okay salad on the side. For my drink, I got the strawberry matcha latte with oat milk (5/5), which was fantastic. It's on the sweeter side, which worked for me. It was fairly busy and a bit loud inside. The dining room is long and narrow but has a decent amount of seating. Service was good, and friendly.

In my opinion Lapisara ranks in the middle due to the other excellent options available. Seated immediately--had a reso but on a Wednesday morning not really necessary. It took a long time for the single employee to get to us but we weren't in a hurry. Cappuccino was very good in a cute "bear mug" and very reasonably priced. We shared a pacific omlet--not much crab, lots of shrimp, and nice swiss cheese/scallions but tasted kind of fishy--potatoes were only avg. Son said huevos rancheros were average. Price point good for SF and portions adequate to share. Location convenient so we will try dinner there tonight before a comedy show nearby. Dinner-5++ stars; 4 of us Had dinner last night-6pm-reso but not needed. only one other group dining. Single Waitress was great-we let her know we needed to leave in about an hour for a show and she timed everything perfectly--we even had time for dessert. we ordered so many items that she brought over an extra table--we shared everything family style. Most Yelp reviews only mention brunch but the dinner was awesome--service; food: taste/quality, presentation, portions, prices we phenomenally low for SF ($200 with a bottle of wine for 4 people). We started with the garlic butter clams-small but tasty. Tuna tartar was excellent quality and enough to share. Samosas were more like empanadas--very good with peanut sauce so good it rivaled my own home made. We continued our culinary adventure with crab fried rice-delicious, a large portion and my son who lives in SF and has tried dozens of crab fried rice ranked it in the top tier. The pacific catch rice noodles with crab was also excellent-big portion, lots of crab, tasty. Final entree was their specialty-Mussaman Curry. Wow, tender meat/potatoe "stew" with a very unique flavor from the star anise/cinnamon and peanut--to die for. Creme Brulee was very good with lots of fresh fruit accompaniment My only complaint was a very limited wine selection. Lapisaia will become one of our regular spots for dinner!!!

I don't remember if there was music, but it was a busy, lively place with multiple conversations happening at once. It was definitely a cozy, home type atmosphere. I order a Korean chicken sandwich. It was very tasty and large. I had leftovers! I was disappointed because I forgot my leftovers on the table . Note to self: NEVER DO THAT AGAIN. The lemonade was very flavorful, and my kids enjoyed it too. I even tried an alcoholic beverage, I can't remember the name, but I swapped it for lemonade because it was THAT good. I ordered the K-Bomb chicken Benny and oh boy will you leave satisfied in every way. The perfectly poached eggs are served on top of a fluffy slice of bread topped with kimchi-hollandaise sauce. The chicken was a Korean style fried chicken with a crunchy sweet and spicy bbq sauce reminiscent of gochujang and honey. Home fries and green salad with sesame dressing topped it all off. The mango matcha latte was also quite good and the price for SF and for all that food was great value for the money. Ambiance is casual and a bit loud as can be expected from a brunch place but overall it is clean and a fun spot to meet friends for brunch. Don't stay too long after paying though or you will get stared at by the folks waiting in line. Overall definitely recommend checking them out. I look forward to trying other specialties here.

The potatoes were nicely cooked with plenty of crispy pieces, and the eggs came out exactly as we requested. Both sausages were flavorful, although we both slightly preferred the chicken apple sausage. The pancakes were the only part of the meal that didn't quite win us over. The texture was softer and mushier than we expected. We were hoping for something a bit lighter and cakier. Between the two, my boyfriend preferred the almond flour pancakes.
