AJs Landscaping was recommended to me by a neighbor who had used them previously for a landscaping project. I had a plan from a landscape designer that I used to interview a few companies. I chose AJs and am extremely happy with the process and results. The scope of my project was large (about 1/2 acre), and included the front and back yards. In addition to the plantings and sod, the project included concrete sidewalks, fencing, electronic and manual gates, a large artificial deck, crushed granite space, irrigation, and lighting. The worked performed was excellent and consistent with the plan. I could't be more pleased with the results. I got more than my money's worth! The entire team was courteous throughout the project and hardworking. They were consistently at the job site first thing in the morning and worked a full day (a few times longer and several Saturdays). My project manager, Javier, kept me up to speed on progress nearly daily, checked in to see if I had questions, and cheerfully accommodated any changes I requested. The project was finished on budget and pretty close to on time had I not kept adding scope. Customer service is 5-star+. My neighbors continue to compliment me on the final project. If you need to remodel your yard, stop your search and call AJ's Landscaping immediately. Javier and his team were phenomenal start to finish! We obtained 3 quotes from other landscaping and hardscaping companies before starting our project with AJ's. AJ's suggested the best materials to solve a drainage issue and proposed the best design for raised garden beds, all for a fair price and with quick timelines. Our backyard was originally a sad slab of old composite concrete that did not drain properly, and was somewhat difficult to access. Javier and his team tore out the old concrete, excavated to add in proper drainage, properly leveled the yard, relaid new concrete and artificial turf, added a gate to our fence, and built raised garden beds to add more greenery to our backyard, all while easily navigating the access constraint. Our new backyard looks absolutely beautiful, and they took extra care to ensure it was safe for our pets as well. Javier was responsive, honest, and incredibly easy to work with. Had it not rained for a month straight, I have no doubts they would have completed our project sooner than estimated. Javier and his team did such a fantastic job on our yard. It was a jungle full of dead plants and garden contraptions and they cleared it all and leveled it in 2 weeks! They removed so many trees and plants it was insane. Following the demo, they extended our patio (matched our existing patio perfectly) and installed turf. Our backyard looks 10x bigger and our kids have been having a blast out here everyday! They also built us a new fence. I even had a neighbor roll down his window as he was driving to tell me that our fence looks great! Javier was super communicative and listened to what we wanted. Javier and his team designed and built a very solid structure that is aesthetically pleasing. This required some demolition, backfilling and compacting work as well.
