We engaged Marion for a series of 3 different fences around our home, planting of 2 20 foot oak trees, irrigation and mulch. All of the work was performed when scheduled, crew was prompt, courteous, professional;, and best of all experienced. Marion and his team saved me! I live on a steep hill and the winds and rain took down my fence and retaining wall. I don't like giving negative reviews but my friend convinced me it might help others. I found Marion Landscaping on Yelp and was impressed with the reviews. I filled out a survey which included how large my property is, 1,000 - 3,000 square feet. Marion said he would meet me on May 15th at 10 am the earliest appointment he had. I took the morning off work and waited. He never showed up. I finally got through to him at 10:30 and he said he looked up my address and decided my lot was too small. I asked him why he didn't call me, email me or message me through Yelp. He said he tried, but I never received voicemails or messages. We had set up the appointment the week before so he had at least 5 business days to cancel. If Marion had apologized I probably wouldn't be writing this. The sad thing for him is this was the first of two of my properties I was hoping to have Marion landscape, but because he thought my property was too small he lost out on my other bigger job. read more

Marion and team were great. He reviewed our plans, outlined costs, broke them down into phases so we could piece out the construction over time. He installed a full drainage system for us which went great. And we continued with a backyard remodel that we are now enjoying. The team on the job were excellent. Stud! Attention to detail. Great communication. Cares for the quality of his work as an owner. Marion completed an major remodel of our front yard which including putting in new stairs, shoring up a failing wall, masonry work (lots of it), new paver driveway, new sidewalk, new apron and landscaping. We are so happy with the finished product. Everyone who walks by comments on the front yard. Kids now hang out in our front yard. So inviting. We had a professional landscape architect draft up plans so we had a good idea how it was going to turn out. But wow! It was 10X better than expected. You will not be disappointed with Marion's quality and attention to detail. His crew is also incredibly courteous and take the time to clean up after themselves daily. Marion's landscaping is fantastic! Marion did an outstanding job from beginning until completion, in an extremely adept, professional, timely and cost-effective manner. Our family moved into a new home where the backyard was in complete disarray. We had a serious endemic problem with "running bamboo" from our neighbor's yard that kept growing underneath the fence and into our yard. This type of bamboo is extremely tough and resilient, and grows everywhere! Even though there had been a barrier planted underneath our yard, it continued to push through as (dangerous) spokes in the ground. Marion and I developed a plan to virtually eradicate the bamboo and beautify our entire backyard so that it would be a safe place for our 2 year old son to play in with our 100 pound puppy. The backyard was transformed from an unsafe and unsightly backyard to an exquisite zen oasis for our family! Marion was able to incorporate a beautiful design of luscious plants that look fantastic all year round, with new hardscaping that incorporated custom cut blue stone. Due to the size of our backyard and the amount of shade, Marion's men also installed artificial grass. We very carefully chose the most natural looking material, and it looks great! I never really liked artificial grass, and was totally taken aback by how nice it looks. The design was contemporary and clean, and yet beautiful and functional. The landscaping looks fantastic, the design has continued to look even more beautiful as the plants have begun to fill in over time, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the job! read more

Marion is a true professional. He did a fabulous job on a major landscaping project for us. He was very responsive to all our concerns, brought a very competent crew and the results are wonderful. Our project was big: lots of hardscape including two decks, a BBQ area, stone pathways, concrete retaining walls, etc. He gave us lots of direction and guidance for our plant choices which was very helpful. Everything was put on an automatic irrigation system that works like a charm. We are really pleased with the outdoor lighting that he designed and installed as it increases our use and enjoyment of the gardens at night. The whole experience with Marion was top-notch. Marion is amazing. He helped us through a very complicated project that was against a creek. The permitting process was very complicated and delayed the project significantly. Marion kept a very steady hand through that. Once we were able to finally start work, Marion and his team worked tirelessly to bring together our new beautiful home.
