Outstanding experience, outstanding result. My wife and I are really happy with the new driveways installed by the System Pavers crew. The front of our house looks fantastic and we're getting lots of compliments from neighbors and people walking by. We solicited bids from multiple contractors, ranging from our longtime general contractor (who "had a guy who does pavers") to other paver specialists. Here's why we went with System Pavers and why we can recommend them to other homeowners: --Communication and responsiveness: From the start, our sales consultant, Kelly Casper, was easy to work with. He offered helpful suggestions, explained their process clearly, and responded promptly (sometimes immediately) to any question via text or email. That same level of clear communication and responsiveness carried through with our project manager, Oscar Maciel, who is a consummate professional. --Knowledge and skill: Our project wasn't simple and we had a lot of decisions to make and challenges to solve during the process. For example, our two driveways are at slightly different levels, which required careful consideration with leveling and drainage. We also deliberated about whether we wanted a single or double border. I'm a very hands-on client and asked lots of questions. Oscar troubleshooted everything with me, explained all my options, and we came up with the right approach. When we changed our minds mid-project about the height of the divider wall between driveways, Oscar worked with Yobel, the construction lead, to make the changes without disruption. I think this is the #1 reason I'm glad I chose System Pavers, because I'm not sure I would have the same confidence in a general contractor or budget pavers contractor. --Quality and commitment: Yobel and his team worked diligently and I watched their progress from demolition and excavation to adding the base layers. They did everything well and worked over the weekends to catch up after some delays with the availability of the stone we chose. Overall, a positive experience from start to finish. read more

Short review: Expensive, but worth it. Warranty, stellar customer service, and craftsmanship unmatched. Easy to work with and super communicative. Quick turnaround. Our backyard project was complete in under 3 weeks! Long review: We had the pleasure of working with Design Consultant, D'Andre and Project Manager, Ryan. These two guys restored my trust in the construction and customer service industry as several past experiences with other companies left me scarred and afraid to do business with anyone. I started an inquiry on Yelp at 6am and was scheduled an appointment for the same week, all before 7am without any issues. My husband took the morning off to be at the appointment so we appreciated D'Andre's punctuality. In fact, he was punctual to all subsequent appointments which spoke volumes to us, as respecting others' time is something we greatly value. He was respectful to our space, professional, and knowledgeable. He produced a 3D rendering and quote the same day and set realistic expectations. He offered various suggestions to tweak our design to fit our budget. We had reservations about turf so he stopped by on a different date to bring us samples we could see and feel to ensure we were comfortable with what we were purchasing. Additionally, he took us on a stone yard visit so we could get a real life visual representation of the pavers we were selecting. This proved to be an important step because we ended up selecting a different size, finish and determined the orientation that they would be laid in. He was always so patient with us as my husband and I didn't always agree on selections. He was super responsive and was always a text or call away -- even with welcoming a new baby into the world! Our HOA kicked our design application back 3x, which was incredibly frustrating, but D'Andre was literally there every step of the way updating things promptly to ensure our project wouldn't be stalled. Once we obtained HOA approval, a pre construction walkthrough was scheduled with our Project Manager, Ryan. I met with Ryan and D'Andre for the walkthrough where we confirmed the design plan. Ryan was very personable, professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. He happily answered all my questions and set the construction timeline expectations. He encouraged me to do a quick walkthrough each night and let him know if there was anything off so he could address it immediately. He was very communicative and sent me daily progress pictures and/or videos with thorough updates. One of the biggest things that stood out to me about Ryan -- and I deeply respect him for it-- is that I sent a photo of the turf and asked about seam visibility early in the project and he DID NOT gaslight me at all! Rather, he reassured me that after the project was complete it would look better and he was right. He was very responsive and was always a text or call away. He even provided us with measurements and made recommendations on where we could get rocks from to fill our walkways and back wall. His team also did a good job with keeping the job site clean. A few other things came up, but they were quickly resolved with minimal impact on the construction timeline. We did have to incur some extra costs; however, they absorbed some of it and also paid to have our retaining wall bench go one row higher, which we initially had to cut out our budget. So that was a wonderful surprise! All in all, our experience was great and their process is so seamless and easy. I would not hesitate to do business with them again! We love our new modern/minimalist backyard and are already enjoying the space! read more

I've used them two times and they never completed my third attempt to use them. My first installation for backyard pavers went awful. Delays and went beyond what they could deliver in the time promised. A lot of this fell on the workers who were being stretched thin on help and vehicles. I tried a second time for driveway pavers. Installation went well however when I had some issues with the work and quality of materials, nobody ever got back to me. I tried social media, their web site, and calling. My third attempt was to schedule a new installation and just tell whoever would contact me I just needed the pavers reset and some of the cracked ones replaced. Someone came out. Took measurements. Said they'd send me an estimate. Crickets. So I am no longer using them or recommend them to anyone who wants a warm body to work with. All three interactions have been with different area people who seem like they have no idea how things work. I wound up ripping out the pavers and having stamped concrete instead. More reliable, cheaper, and the company I went with follows through. read more

We recently completed a project with System Pavers, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish. From the initial consultation to the final walkthrough, the process was smooth, well organized, and easy to navigate. Beth, the designer, did a fantastic job helping us bring our vision to life. She was thoughtful, creative, and attentive to our preferences. Adrian, the project manager, kept everything running seamlessly. His communication was clear and consistent, and he was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The crew of 2 showed up on time every single day and worked efficiently throughout the project. They kept the work area clean and made sure to tidy up at the end of each day, which we really appreciated. What stood out most was the team's professionalism and responsiveness. Any concerns we had were addressed promptly, and adjustments were handled without hassle. The project stayed on track and was even completed ahead of schedule. Overall, the team was friendly, efficient, and highly communicative. We're very happy with the results and would absolutely recommend System Pavers! read more

Great experience with Brandon in Sales, and Adrian who was the Project Manager. I highly recommend system pavers and am very pleased with the work they did on our backyard. We had a large amount of concrete replaced with turf and the entire project was completed in two days (including the demolition process, prep of the ground, drain installation, turf, and boarding stones). The team was highly communicative and the crew was very cautious around existing structures. I would definitely use them again! read more

Oscar Maciel was an outstanding project manager for my System Pavers installation this past week. From start to finish, he was incredibly attentive, patient, and knowledgeable. Oscar took the time to thoroughly educate me on every aspect of the project, making sure I understood the process and felt confident in each decision. Any time I called with questions or requested changes, Oscar was responsive, flexible, and genuinely supportive. His communication was clear and consistent, and his interpersonal skills made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Oscar's professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction truly stood out. I highly recommend him and appreciate the excellent service he provided. read more

I requested service last week to check on a few things from a big project they had done years before for my backyard and front landscape. Adrian contacted me right away and came out the same day to check on the job and scheduled Miguel to come out the next day to get the work done. Very efficient and professional job. Adrian also checked in the next day. I'm very satisfied with him and his team's services. read more

We had our pavers and light package installed 3 years ago and we have been so happy with system pavers. The electricity went out about 2 weeks ago an I had been unable to reset the "Brilliance smart socket" lighting app. I called System Pavers and was immediately contacted by Ryan Travalini the project manager. He came to our home and we tried to figure it out, when we couldn't, he immediately said no problem the smart socket needs to be replaced, I can go get another one and install it for you later today, its covered under your warranty. He has been very concerned that it was fixed quickly and answered my texts quickly. System Pavers is lucky to have such a great employee. read more

This is my second experience with System Pavers. My original project was completed, as expected, many years ago. We were very happy with the results and have enjoyed our outdoor living space tremendously. Three weeks ago, we returned from a weekend trip to find a water pipe had leaked under the paver deck. I called System Pavers and they sent Adrian to our location to determine if the issue was covered by the warranty. Adrian quickly coordinated the work to repair the leak and reset the pavers. In addition, I suggested we walk the property. Adrian quickly noticed a couple other areas that needed attention and those issues were also repaired. Adrian and his worker, Manual, were professional and focused on the work. I recommend System Pavers for the original project and the warranty follow up work. They stand by their product years after installation. read more

Updated review Redoing our rather large front yard and driveway was a dream come true. We love how it looks and have received quite a few compliments. Now, here's a very honest review. 5 stars for workmanship: care and thought was taken each step of the way. The workers were super respectful and did their best always to help us be able to get in and out easily during the work, kept the area tidy and made sure to confirm with us if there were any questions that arose . 1,000,000 stars for Adrian O'Donoghue, our project manager. Adrian visited the project almost daily and was readily available by text or phone call. This was such a peace of mind. His communication was amazing and his willingness to make sure any blips were addresses was impeccable. Now, outside of his control was the fact the designer/sales manager told us our front step would be "taken care and wrapped into the deal" but we were then told it would be another $3800 upon the project starting. This whole experience would have felt so much better if the bottom line had been the bottom line. Granted, I appreciated all his help in implementing our ideas into a design but this left us uneasy. So, would I work with them again, yes. All of the aforementioned made it a wonderful experience. However, this latter issue was disheartening and I am a person of my word so I must fully review the great and the "do better next time." The consultation is free, the design process is included, just make sure you are guaranteed there won't be any hidden costs/surprises. Full transparency is good for all and thus the spirit of my review. 25 year guarantee. I will give this review 5 stars because Adrian deserves it. System Pavers, you are very lucky to have him. He's a company's dream spokesperson. I have been in sales for 22 years; I know a keeper when I see one. It's people like Adrian that make all the difference. Thank you Adrian for overseeing this and making everything right. read more

We couldn't be happier with our experience with System Pavers from start to finish. The entire process was seamless, professional, and truly exceeded our expectations. Our journey began with Erik, who handled the design phase. He took an incredible amount of time to walk us through every aspect of the project, patiently explaining our options and ensuring we felt confident in our decisions. Erik even met with us to help select the perfect stone and guided us toward a unique design that makes our driveway truly stand out. At his suggestion, we also added lighting, which beautifully enhances both the appearance and functionality of the space. What truly impressed us was Erik's dedication--he came out a second time on his own personal time just to show us all the available color options and make sure we were completely confident in our final selection. That extra effort and commitment to customer satisfaction meant a great deal to us and speaks volumes about his professionalism and care. When it came time for installation, Adrian, our project manager, was absolutely outstanding. From the very beginning, he demonstrated a high level of professionalism, organization, and genuine care for our project. Adrian communicated with us every single day--often multiple times--keeping us informed about progress, timelines, and next steps. He was always quick to respond to any questions, no matter how small, and made us feel like a top priority throughout the entire process. What truly set Adrian apart was his attention to detail and commitment to excellence. He consistently checked on the quality of the work, ensured that everything was completed to the highest standards, and went above and beyond to address any concerns immediately. His proactive approach, positive attitude, and willingness to accommodate our needs made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Adrian also coordinated his crew seamlessly, and their professionalism and craftsmanship were evident in every aspect of the installation. It was clear that he takes great pride in his work and genuinely cares about customer satisfaction. While System Pavers may not be the least expensive option, they unquestionably stand by their work. Their longevity in the industry--surpassing their 25-year warranty--gave us tremendous confidence and peace of mind. In our opinion, the quality, professionalism, and reliability they provide are well worth the investment. We highly recommend System Pavers to anyone looking for superior craftsmanship and outstanding customer service. Special thanks to Erik for his thoughtful design guidance and extra effort, and to Adrian for delivering an exceptional installation experience. We waited a few years in getting our backyard remodeled because we were afraid of contractors and scope and fees increasing as the work progressed. Adrian is THE BEST contractor and project manager! My experience with System Pavers started off extremely frustrating. Our first project manager provided little to no oversight at the beginning of our backyard project. Everything moved painfully slow, communication and support were almost nonexistent, and several quality issues came up. The turf was poorly stitched together, some of the pavers were uneven, and we were even told we needed to pay for services that we had already paid for. At that point, I was very disappointed and frustrated with the company overall. Things completely changed when Oscar Maciel became our new project manager. He was a total 180 from the previous experience and truly took ownership of the project. Oscar showed up every day to ensure everything was going according to plan, listened carefully whenever I raised concerns, and addressed issues immediately. His professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail were exactly what we had been missing. Oscar is a far better representation of what a project manager at System Pavers should be. Fast forward about a year later, we noticed some slight shifting in our pavers. I reached back out to Oscar and the System Pavers team, and they handled the issue the same week. I was genuinely impressed by the level of customer service and sense of urgency Oscar demonstrated, even long after the project was completed. Overall, my experience with System Pavers went from being extremely frustrating to very satisfying, and that turnaround is entirely due to Oscar. I am very grateful he was able to make things right for us and would highly recommend him as your project manager. read more

We couldn't be happier with the final product from Systems Pavers! We were initially unsure how much of a difference pavers on our two driveways and walkway would make, but the finished result absolutely blew us away. The transformation has dramatically improved our home's curb appeal, and the low-maintenance aspect is a huge upgrade from our old gravel and cracked concrete driveway. From start to finish, the Systems Pavers team was outstanding. They clearly explained the project scope, costs, and timeline upfront, and the skilled craftsmen delivered exceptional work. Every day the crew made impressive progress and consistently left the work area clean and well organized. Once the project was complete, we walked through everything with the Project Manager to ensure every detail met our expectations. The entire process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. The project was completed exactly as promised--on time and on budget--and the quality of the work exceeded what we hoped for. We highly recommend Systems Pavers for their craftsmanship, professionalism, and incredible team. We would absolutely hire them again without hesitation! read more

We originally used System Pavers to transform our driveway 19 years ago. They did fantastic work that drastically increased our curb appeal and the value of our home. We called them back recently to help us repair several stones that PG&E damaged when they dug a massive trench to increase the power to our house during a major remodel. They were very responsive and professional. Adrian O'Donoghue came out to provide the quote and he was fantastic. He advised on resetting the stones as well as professionally cleaning the stones, replacing the sand and sealing. I got a prompt written quote at a very reasonable price. He communicated clearly and honestly throughout the project, which only took a few days to complete once they started. After the damaged stones were reset I could not tell that there was any damage. Once the entire driveway was cleaned, sand replaced and sealed my driveway looked exactly like it did during the initial installation nearly 20 years ago. The workers were courteous, communicative and respected my property. These days its hard to find professional, personalized service from a contractor who won't try to gouge you. System Pavers stands out for high quality products, superior workmanship and phenomenal customer service. If you have a paving project, give this company a try. We had System Pavers demolish, rebuild, and expand all of our hardscaping in February - driveway, backyard patio area, and connecting paths on both sides of the house. We're so excited with the results! I am confident their work will hold up over time. Best of all, they made the process so smooth for us. System Pavers is vertically integrated, and I think that (plus the dedicated, knowledgeable people) helped prevent any miscommunications or delays/ disputes. They came to the house as often as needed to get it right, and I appreciate the 25-year warranty on the pavers. David was our initial contact, and he helped us figure out a beautiful design. There is some pressure to accept their proposal during the in-home consultation, but I get it. He came to our house on a rainy day, spent hours talking through options and preparing the design. On-the-spot, he sketched a fabulous design. He has an impeccable eye that created a lovely flow of paths and patio areas. Oscar was our Project Manager. He is such a gem! He is so communicative and friendly. He really gave us confidence throughout the process that things would go smoothly, and they did. He kept our neighbors in the loop about potential noise etc., was proactive about coordinating with other contractors working on the house at the same time (sewer lateral repairs & electrician) and just made things easy for us! Chico and his crew laying the pavers worked really hard, knew what they were doing, were friendly, and cleaned up well after themselves. They even repaired a big hole that the contractor who had done the sewer lateral had left, filling it in and replanting the plants. It's just one example of how thoughtful they were on the work site. Overall, highly recommend! read more

We had worked with a couple of landscape architects and came up with a general idea on what might work for us. We then decided to give System Pavers a call. Why not? Everyone has heard of System Pavers. Eric came out and we were immediately impressed with his knowledge, enthusiasm and open mind. We collaborated and after a couple different iterations we came up with a great plan. Onto the scene comes Adrian and Alex. Adrian was the project foreman and he could not have been better. Always accessible, returned calls, texts and emails promptly. Showed up at least once a week and more if needed or requested. Engaging, smart, understanding just a few of his qualities that made the job go smoothly. Alex was the on-site foreman and he was great as well. Kind, honest, thoughtful and always did when and what he said they would do. His crew was great as well. Polite, hard hard workers, extremely skilled and cleaned up the job site at the end of the day. Most jobs have a few issues and ours was no different. Our issues revolved around permitting issues which were all on us and had nothing to do with SP. it created unwanted delays which were beyond SP's control. Nevertheless they were patient and helped in anyway that we requested. Our job is done and we are extremely pleased with the final product. System Pavers took our deteriorating asphalt driveway and transformed it into a standout feature of our home. The entire process was handled with professionalism and efficiency. Sarah, the designer, guided us with her expert recommendations on colors and paver choices that perfectly complemented our property, with an eye towards our budget restraints. Her responsiveness and attention to detail at every turn were exemplary. The project, managed by Jeremy, was completed within the 10-day timeline as promised. Jeremy's knowledge across multiple areas--construction, landscaping, and drainage--was impressive, and his consistent communication ensured we were always kept in the loop. What stood out most was their ability to anticipate potential issues and provide solutions before they became problems. They even made some enhancements on their own initiative that significantly improved the final result. The quality of work was exceptional, and the price was competitive. There are always surprises when 'moving earth' through the construction process and he always made himself available to discuss anything that came up, and ensured that EVERYTHING was fixed accordingly. System Pavers didn't just complete the job; they exceeded expectations. Their commitment to customer satisfaction was evident from start to finish. The result is not just a functional upgrade but a beautiful addition to our home that has already drawn positive attention from our neighbors. The experience working with Jeremy and Sarah is one I would repeat again which is not something you often hear about these types of projects.
