Wow, what an incredible journey we've had with Lucio Landscape Construction! We just completed a full transformation of our front and back yards, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. From the initial design phase to the breathtaking final result, the process took over a year due to an unusually wet winter and some lengthy permit approvals. But every moment was worth it, and throughout it all, we got to know Alex and his team on a personal level. From the very beginning, Alex's vision and expertise were apparent. His landscape design team guided us through multiple design revisions, carefully incorporating our feedback to create a space that perfectly reflects our lifestyle. They recommended stunning, drought-tolerant plants for the front yard and designed an incredible outdoor kitchen and cozy firepit area in the back. These new features have truly turned our backyard into our favorite gathering spot. Once the weather cleared and the permits were finalized, the construction phase took about 5 months. Alex and his crew were there every day, working diligently from 8 AM to 4 PM, ensuring every detail of the design was executed flawlessly. Their attention to detail was unmatched, they were always open to discussing any last-minute changes and kept us updated throughout the process. Their commitment to keeping the site clean and organized was greatly appreciated, as it ensured our property remained livable and didn't disrupt our neighbors. One of the standout aspects of working with Lucio Landscape Construction was Alex's dedication to customer satisfaction. His calm, problem-solving demeanor kept the project moving smoothly, even when challenges arose. It was clear that he genuinely cared about delivering the highest quality work. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are evident in every corner of our new outdoor space. From the beautifully laid pavers to the robust fencing and the vibrant new plant life, the results have exceeded our expectations. Even after the project was completed, Alex was fantastic about following up on a few small adjustments and was quick to accommodate our request for additional trees to enhance our privacy. After spending so much time with Alex and his team, we've built a relationship that goes beyond just a contractor-client dynamic. It was a pleasure working with genuinely nice people who are passionate about their craft. Our neighbors and friends can't stop complimenting our new yard, and we truly feel like we have the best-looking property on the block. If you're considering any landscaping work, I can't recommend Lucio Landscape Construction enough. Their pricing is fair, the quality of work is exceptional, and the entire experience was positive from start to finish. If you want to transform your outdoor space with a team that truly cares, Alex and his crew are the ones to call. read more

Lucio Landscape Construction recently completed a major backyard project for us and we couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, they were fantastic to work with. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality landscape construction services from a hardworking and thoughtful team of experts. We initially hired them to repair two retaining walls that were improperly installed by a previous contractor. Not only did Lucio address the safety concerns, but they also made the walls look beautiful. This included helping us design and install a stunning hog wire fence. Their recommendation of hog wire proved to be spot-on, providing both durability and style without breaking the bank. The team also tackled a large artificial turf installation, which required extensive ground preparation. Their attention to detail was remarkable, ensuring a flawless and long-lasting result. They even went the extra mile to relocate some water pipes for easier access, demonstrating their commitment to exceeding expectations. Throughout the entire project, the team, in particular Alex Calderon, was a pleasure to work with. He was professional, responsive, communicative, and always punctual. He clearly explained every step of the process, addressed all our questions and concerns, and offered valuable advice along the way. The crew was incredibly hardworking, efficient, and respectful of our property and our neighbor's properties. They worked smart, worked hard, and worked quickly, completing the project right on schedule. Thanks to Lucio Landscape Construction, our backyard has been transformed into a safe, functional, and beautiful space that we can now fully enjoy as a family. read more

We recently redid our driveway and entire yards with Lucio Landscape Construction and are very pleased with their professionalism and result. Before start of project we called 3 contractors for quotes. Alex, the owner, came to our house on the same day to look around. He then took the scaled drawing (We worked with Jody Stix Garsia, a landscape architect whom we loved working with). His quote came pretty close with another one and after considerations, we decided to go with Lucio. During the project there were at least 4 people working everyday. The crew worked from 8 AM - 4 PM weekdays. They came on time and left on time, and cleaned up and organized the tools and materials before leaving each day. Everyone was very professional and courteous, and clearly know what they were doing. They were very fast. We had our driveway widened, replaced the concrete with pavers, put pavers on the front porch, demolished front, side and back yard, and put in new irrigation system and landscaping. Everything was done in 4 weeks as scheduled. The crew paid attention to details, and creative in solving unexpected problems. The end work was very nicely done, neat, and professional. Overall, we are very happy with the outcome. Our yards look so much better now and we've been spending more time outside to enjoy it. Several days after the project was done, we had a couple flagstones that cracked, and found our maple tree was missing irrigation drips around it. We texted Alex and sent the pictures. He responded immediately and sent one of this crew a couple days later. He added the drips and the next day came back to replace the flagstones. Thank you to Alex and his amazing crew! read more

We hired Lucio Landscape Construction based on the quality of work they did on another house in Mill Valley. Our experience with Alex, and his entire team was really good. They did the entire landscape (front and back) for our new home construction. They were attentive, easy to deal with and worked with us all the way till we passed final inspection (we had some specific requirements that they helped with to pass our inspections, it went beyond the original scope of work). They have deep knowledge in all things landscape construction. What's impressed us most about Alex and his team is even after more than a year, it's still easy to get in touch with Alex for any questions that we have. It usually gets addressed in a day or two after we contact them. We even had them do additional mods by adding artificial turf in our backyard recently. All in all, highly recommended! read more

Our experience with Lucio Landscape is state of the art. From our first consultation to the last touches, I would choose them all over again. Alex really worked with us and spent a lot of time addressing our concerns with the state of our backyard. He took a highly realistic approach, prioritizing our essential needs while thoughtfully incorporating our wants. When the work started, the crew was super professional, polite and worked around our puppies' needs to access a portion of the yard. Alex himself took time to answer every text/call and check-in frequently to make sure we were happy with the progress. They treated our house & project with utmost care and the attention to detail. I can't stop looking at the fence and I'm stunned at how it all came together so beautifully. We're enjoying the patio to the fullest and all finishes for the summer! read more

We hired Lucio Landscape Construction to help design and build our backyard renovation. When we purchased our home, the yard was filled with old brick planters, dead trees, and overgrown plants. With a one-year-old at home, we wanted to create a clean, open, and safe grassy area for our child to play. Alex met with us in person, listened to our vision, and helped bring it to life with a thoughtful design and a practical approach. Once the project started, his team showed up on time every day and worked hard to meet our deadline. They were professional, efficient, and did an amazing job turning our backyard into something beautiful and usable. We're so happy with the results and already have more landscaping plans in the works. We'll definitely be using Lucio Landscape Construction again. Thank you, Alex and the whole team! read more

Lucio Landscape Construction did a major project, spanning 4 months, at our home in Greenbrae. Our lot is nearly an acre. The project began with Samuel creating a plan and giving us design options. Samuel was fantastic! Unlike many designers, he was designing for US - and worked very hard to create a design that matched our esthetic. Alex replaced a long asphalt driveway with concrete. 35 embedded lights running up the driveway look fantastic. The lights lead to new beautiful pavers at the top. Trees have uplighting. Extensive planting of hedges, trees and irrigation system. We couldn't be happier. Alex and Lucio's crew are the best! Considerate and trustworthy. Helpful and accommodating. The result is fantastic. We have retained them to provide ongoing maintenance. We give Lucio the strongest recommendation! 5 stars +++!! read more

We had a great experience working with Alex and Lucio Landscape Construction on our backyard remodel. From the beginning, Alex was easy to talk to, open to feedback, and always willing to adjust the design to fit our vision. They helped us design and build a beautiful outdoor space, and we're extremely happy with how everything turned out. Alex and his team are skilled, efficient, and clearly know what they're doing. The work, from demolition to pouring concrete, was done quickly and to a high standard. The pool, turf, and hardscape all came out amazing, and we appreciated the ongoing support even after the main construction was complete. There were some delays with permitting but the final result was well worth it. Everything looks clean and professional, with high-quality finishes like. Thank you! read more

Alex and his team are truly the real deal, not just in the quality of their craftsmanship, but in their professionalism and communication every step of the way. As someone who works in real estate, I've dealt with countless contractors who are talented but lack the ability to run a smooth operation. That wasn't the case with Lucio Landscape Construction. They delivered on every promise throughout two major high-end projects. What started as a sloped, bare hillside is now a beautifully terraced space, built with precision, speed, and care. I was blown away by their commitment and efficiency. I highly recommend Lucio Landscape for any outdoor or landscaping project, and I absolutely look forward to working with them again. read more

The entire look of our house has been elevated, and the quality of their work is truly impressive. They responded the very next day to my online request, came out a day later to go over my project to replace my existing 15+ year old drip irrigation, gave me a quote a day later and started work on Monday and it took 3 days to complete. It is a local father and son company and they couldn't have been nicer. They were also willing to bring a truck load of compost and spread it in my gardens. Very professional on all fronts and they came back a few days later to make sure everything was working properly. It was not cheap but I feel the end result justified the price. read more
