We recently redid our driveway and entire yards with Lucio Landscape Construction and are very pleased with their professionalism and result. Before start of project we called 3 contractors for quotes. Alex, the owner, came to our house on the same day to look around. He then took the scaled drawing (We worked with Jody Stix Garsia, a landscape architect whom we loved working with). His quote came pretty close with another one and after considerations, we decided to go with Lucio. During the project there were at least 4 people working everyday. The crew worked from 8 AM - 4 PM weekdays. They came on time and left on time, and cleaned up and organized the tools and materials before leaving each day. Everyone was very professional and courteous, and clearly know what they were doing. They were very fast. We had our driveway widened, replaced the concrete with pavers, put pavers on the front porch, demolished front, side and back yard, and put in new irrigation system and landscaping. Everything was done in 4 weeks as scheduled. The crew paid attention to details, and creative in solving unexpected problems. The end work was very nicely done, neat, and professional. Overall, we are very happy with the outcome. Our yards look so much better now and we've been spending more time outside to enjoy it. Several days after the project was done, we had a couple flagstones that cracked, and found our maple tree was missing irrigation drips around it. We texted Alex and sent the pictures. We hired alex and his crew to do some major landscaping work that we had put off for years! we had to replace an old block wall, old brickwork, old tile patio a new arbor and major work taking lots of old foliage out. we ended up with two beautiful tile patios, new fence, new retaining walls and great spaces for new planting! we also redid our driveway removing old bricks and adding new stone and new planter boxes! William and alejandro (the crew) arrived on time everyday and worked so efficiently! They cleaned up before leaving so well that even my neighbor commented on how wonderful that was! Lucio Landscape Construction did a major project, spanning 4 months, at our home in Greenbrae. Our lot is nearly an acre. The project began with Samuel creating a plan and giving us design options. Samuel was fantastic! Unlike many designers, he was designing for US - and worked very hard to create a design that matched our esthetic. Alex replaced a long asphalt driveway with concrete. 35 embedded lights running up the driveway look fantastic. The lights lead to new beautiful pavers at the top. Trees have uplighting. Extensive planting of hedges, trees and irrigation system. We couldn't be happier. Alex and Lucio's crew are the best! Considerate and trustworthy. Helpful and accommodating. The result is fantastic. Alex at Lucio Landscaping just finished making a new front and back deck for me from composited material, which is fire safe. The material is made by Fortress, and is called "Arctic Birch." The screws they used are dark grey and blend into the colors, but you can also get hidden fasteners. I am extremely happy with the finished product, and the price came in under budget! That's always a good surprise. I had them do my backyard deck, made from the same material, and I plan to do other fixtures made from a composited concrete. We will discuss other needs I have, as I redo my backyard in stages. They have made the whole process very trouble-free, and always cleaned up any residue after each day! They responded the very next day to my online request, came out a day later to go over my project to replace my existing 15+ year old drip irrigation, gave me a quote a day later and started work on Monday and it took 3 days to complete. It is a local father and son company and they couldn't have been nicer. They were also willing to bring a truck load of compost and spread it in my gardens.
