Long overdue review for a project completed last summer. Cristian and his father led a month-long project that included removing an existing brick patio, installing tile and turf, updating an outdoor kitchen, adding a pergola, redoing deck railings, and renovating a substantial stretch of around 20 large concrete steps. It was one of our largest house projects to date with many additional findings (a crumbling foundation wall, trash dumped under our deck, rotting fence posts, etc) that were replaced during project construction. The additional charges amounted to a little over 10% of our estimated budget, which was extremely reasonable given the scale and scope of the project. Lastly, communication was thoughtful and responsive with 1-2 day response times and onsite visits, even though Cristian started the project with a one-month old. I had Legacy Landscapers do 2 separate projects and they did a fantastic job. The first project we had weeds growing in through the rock landscaping in our front yard. I had asked that we need to replace the barrier underneath. The got it done in about 2 days. The 2nd project we had grass installed in our backyard and get the sprinklers working again (previous owners never got it fixed, so I'm glad that it wasn't any major work). They did it all in one day. They did a fantastic job - so fast, but most importantly, great quality and such good value. Father-son team (Jesus and Cristian) and the rest of their team (we had up to 4 people helping with our projects) were absolutely amazing to work with in every way. We had a general idea to break down tiered garden boxes on a sloped hillside, and make a large paved area to hang out on, that 1) was integrated with existing brick paths, 2) included drip irrigation for potted plants, and 3) had transitional steps. They were always available when we had questions (eg texts outside of the work day), and went above and beyond, doing and designing/creating lovely details to make our space look even better. After reading several reviews I contacted Christian to give me a quote on a job I was considering having done. I wanted some cement work and artificial lawn installed. He promptly arrived and gave me a quote and also brought samples of artificial lawn. I thought his price was fair and several weeks later he and his crew started the job. His crew was amazing! We came home from a trip to find a sprinkler valve leaking. After calling four companies found on the internet, which none responded, a friend recommended Christian. I called (Saturday morning) and Christian answered. I explained the emergency, and he said he'd send his father out in about 3 hours. Jesus installed a new valve quickly and efficiently.
