I received 6 quotes for my front yard from companies that came to my home. M R was on the more affordable side. Along with that and the fact they are licensed and have the Yelp guarantee made it an easy decision. It helped that Mr. Miranda was very nice, no pressure (unlike others!), and won my confidence. He was prompt from estimate to completion. My husband was out of town and also appreciated how we were treated and the work performed. I could go on and on about the work, but a picture is worth a 1000 words! read more

Had a great experience. Inner and his team put up a fence that had to go around a large acacia tree, and they did it well, quickly and at a reasonable price. They fence has been up for two years and still looks great. I just had them come back to take some pressure off the fence because the truck of the tree was starting to grow into it, as Inner had told me it would. You can't even tell! read more

Inner's team was able to do the style of the fence that we wanted it and patched up the retaining wall as well. Overall the job was done in a timely manner, price was reasonable and Inner was easy to reach out to. read more

We hired Inner Miranda to build a custom wooden fence on top of an existing concrete wall along our property line, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From the very first contact, Inner was incredibly responsive and was able to schedule the work quickly. He was completely transparent about materials and pricing, and patiently answered all questions from both us and our neighbors who share the property line. The project started and finished exactly when he said it would, and Inner showed up reliably at 8:30 every morning. What really impressed us was how much he cared about the quality and appearance of the finished fence--he even came back on a Saturday for a couple hours just to finalize some aesthetic details and make sure everything looked perfect. I definitely recommend Inner and his team. read more

This company never showed up for the scheduled appointment. I find this to be very disappointing.

Edy Miranda and crew did a masterful job on replacing my backyard patio. They were always on time, careful, diligent, and cleaned up always over a 5 day job. And their charge for said work was more than fair. I couldn't recommend them more highly. read more

I highly recommend Miranda Landscaping. Mr. Miranda took on my difficult back yard retaining wall project when many other contractors wouldn't even consider it. His team completed the work precisely as scheduled, finishing both on time and within budget. What impressed me most was his reasonable pricing and straightforward approach. Unlike some contractors who seem to adjust their quotes based on your neighborhood, Mr. Miranda offered fair pricing based solely on the work required. He has a team of really great guys who treated my home like their own. read more

Miranda Landscaping landscaped our backyard in April over two weeks. Inner and his team worked fast and did a great job. As with any project, there were some things we had to decide during the project. Inner was very responsive and accommodating to our requests. I'll admit his contract was a little concerning and lacking details, which made me apprehensive at first. But in hindsight, it's because Inner focuses on the work more than the operational side. You can draft your own contract like we did if you find the terms lacking. read more

We saw Miranda Landscaping working on a home while visiting a friend and my husband took a photo of their truck and contact number. The recent rain meant tons of new weeds sprouting up in our yard and we needed someone to clear out our front yard and backyard as well as do maintenance going forward. Miranda was super responsive to my husband calling them and came over in two days to access. They actually ended up doing the work the same day for a super reasonable price. We are still marveling how good our yard looks! Will definitely keep them for future maintenance and would highly recommend them! read more

Very easy to work with. Great experience. Job began on time and was completed on time. Very reasonable price and professional

I am very lucky and grateful that my neighbor Steve referred Inner Joel Miranda and his crew to me to create a fantastic space in my backyard. I had a wooden retaining wall that had failed and I decided to expand my patio and use rock and stone instead of wood. From the plan that Steve drew Inners crew did a beautiful job. They moved a ton of dirt (clay) unearthed a bunch of big boulders. They prepped and graded and put in drainage. And incredibly moved 8 palettes of rocks and boulders by hand !!! carting them one by one on their shoulders from the front of my house damaging not a plant as they went up the side of the house and up to the back and created beautiful sturdy rock walls. Some tall some meandering all beautiful walls. They incorporated the rocks and boulders they had dug up from my yard into the walls. There are three brothers that are part of Inners team. Two of them Vincente and Santiago specialize in stone work and what a job they did. See pics. The third brother is an expert in planting and plants and he did a beautiful thoughtful job as well. In essence these guys and a gal (inners daughter and brother are also part of Inners talented and far reaching team. Vincente and Salvatore did a really amazing job of cutting and placing the flagstone I chose with Inners help to create this amazing space. read more

Miranda Landscaping has just completed a fence replacement for me. The old fence was dilapidated and falling apart. The new one is built of beautiful redwood and looks fantastic. The whole process--from getting an estimate to confirming and scheduling the job to completion was very easy and handled professionally. I would recommend Miranda Landscaping to anyone who is looking for a good company to build a new fence! Sandra Cook read more

I found Miranda Landscaping in the Marketplace magazine. He was the first company I called. He actually answered the phone and within a few days was available to come and look at my project. After his initial walk through he called in his design partner who listened attentively to my vision and then went and drew up several designs. The designer is a former Landscape Architect who is now retired and works with Inner Miranda. Inner presented me with a beautiful design but we failed to discuss my budget. The original design included flagstone path ways, which to get to my budget we switched to Decomposed Granite or DG. Miranda's team showed up on time and worked efficiently, professionally and without any problems. We met several times after the initial excavation of my yard and rotor-tilling of the area. He was flexible to make adjustments and listen to my suggestions. I re-landscaped approximately 1/4 of an acre. It looks amazing, a drip system, over 100 plants, raised beds, DG pathways. I added solar lighting that was a final touch. I was fortunate to have some huge statement rock on my property that we incorporated. I can't say enough about how smooth the process was. I'm a person who trusts my gut and I'm so happy with my decision to hire Inner Miranda and he's awesome crew. I am happy to refer this company and am already thinking about another front yard project. Kudos, Gratitude and a 5 star review from the El Sobrante client! read more

Inner Miranda and his crew did a great job revitalizing my retaining wall and my backyard. It was not pleasant before and not functional. I gave Inner a timeline and they finish on time. Miranda Landscaping repaired and replaced several sections of our fencing that was blown down in the recent storms. Inner Miranda and his people were always on time, answered all of our questions and gave us multiple options for the work. They worked even in the rain when it wasn't an absolute downpour! Fast, efficient, and they always cleaned up each day before they left. We'd hire Miranda Landscaping again in a heartbeat! read more

We had an appointment set to meet on a Saturday morning for a quote. Unfortunate his "truck broke down." He didn't let me know that until I asked if he was still coming an hour later. We needed some frontyard construction and landscaping. I provided Inner with a basic design I had made on an app, which he turned into a beautiful sketch of what we wanted. He provided a free estimate and gladly accommodated some of the changes we requested along the way. His team got here early morning every day and worked til mid afternoon, and the work was completed on schedule (even a bit early). Inner has stellar communication- always answering with emails within the hour! We are very happy with the results, and are getting a lot of compliments from the neighborhood! Highly recommended :) read more

I'm so happy with our beautiful new yard. We brought Miranda Landscaping a tough job that involved grading, leveling, improving drainage, and installing irrigation before we could even think about making it pretty. He brought us great ideas for making the space more livable and plantings they suited the landscape. We now have a gorgeous decomposed granite patio with beautiful pavers, five new trees, a drought resistant garden and lots of space to hang out. The owner, Inner, is very friendly and has been super communicative and always on time. I can't say that about a single other contractor we've worked with on our year-long renovation. His crew and he are smiling and warm and I feel so grateful for their help. I work from home and commonly feel cramped when workers are around, but after having these guys here for more than a month, I kinda miss seeing their faces every day! (Photos soon!) read more

Inner and his team did an amazing job building a 5 foot high retaining wall patio area. It was exactly what we'd hoped for. They then built 130 foot hog panel picture frame fence. The pictures don't show how steep the area was, but despite the challenging terrain the fence looks so level and the frames are very precise. We can't wait to do more projects with this Miranda Landscaping. read more

After having such a great experience a year ago, we went back to Inner and his team to help us to turn our front lawn into a xeriscape, to build raised beds in our back yard and install a row of hedge trees in an awkward space we had between our proper and our neighbors. They went above and beyond and we still highly recommend them. They were flexible, communicative, open to feedback and easy to work with! Thank you to Inner and his team! read more

After getting a couple of estimates, we hired Miranda Landscaping to build a hog wire fence in our front yard to help keep out the deer. The company offers years of experience, competitive bids, and the staffing for small or large landscaping projects. Inner Miranda, the owner, and his crew were terrific. He squeezed our (small) job into their busy schedule. Inner was easy to work with. We would not hesitate to hire them again. read more

Inner Miranda and his team just finished a four-month long project for us. He transformed our wreck of a backyard into a really beautiful, terraced space. (Some of the photos are on his website.) The project doubled in scope from the start, and Inner was able to work with us as we needed to add features and make adjustments to our plans. Inner was always available for morning consultations as we adjusted plans or needed to talk through options. He provided updated quotes along the way, and was happy to either let us purchase materials or buy it directly himself. He arranged for us to visit his preferred nursery to finalize the trees and shrubs we had him plant, and that was a great experience. Finally, a big hats off to Santiago and Marlo who were our two primary craftsmen for our project. They are expert masons, and the walls and paths look amazing! read more

Pros : -good work on fence -good communication on starting project & responsive -reasonably priced & able to split payments for shared fence Cons : -did additional work that was discussed but NOT authorized "because it was convenient"! what is lawsuit from neighbors? forced to pay for entire fence myself at best? etc. -poor communication with staff actually doing the work resulting in this "un-authorized work" - did not finish clean up until next day Follow UP : Inner was very willing to work with me to resolve the issue on the left side. Hopefully that can be worked out and everyone is happy. read more

Inner and his team did a fantastic job on our backyard. We had to level the ground, install sprinklers, sod, a compacted gravel path, a tangerine tree, a new concrete step, and mulch. All went very well, no issues. Great price as well. Highly recommend! read more

Erick and his crew did an outstanding job for a very reasonable price. I needed to keep the deer out by extending my low fence. They walked me through some options and were patient as I went back and forth. They also installed a French drain system just as I specified. I've gotten quotes from other companies in the past and their quote was very reasonable. I even had them build a small level concrete pad and retaining wall so I can install my generator. I highly recommend them. Good communication, professional and quality work for a good price. I'll definitely be going back for more landscaping projects. read more

After having Miranda Landscaping replace a failing retaining wall and install a new, wider driveway at a competitive price, I would highly recommend them. Our retaining wall was on steep hillside and they replaced it with larger posts, closer together and it looks great. Amazing work by Inner and his team! We had 2 stone retaining walls put in on our hillside yard. We had 2 other contractors quote us significantly higher prices but Inner was very reasonable. He wrote a detailed quote and contract so we knew exactly what we were getting and weren't worried about the price increasing during the work-we've had this happen before. He was able to get the materials quickly and get started on the work right away. His communication was great, anytime we sent him an email or text he responded quickly. His team showed up promptly every morning and kept the space tidy after they finished each day. The also installed a set of stairs on either end of the walls and light fixtures we had selected. The walls were very well done, they were very careful to put in all the necessary details to make it last, including a french drain and plenty of drainage rock. We will definitely hire them again for our next big outdoor project. read more

Bad business. No respect for peoples time. Will set an appointment then no show. Do not waste your time.

Inner Miranda and his crew did a fantastic job, replacing an old set of steps off our back porch. We were so impressed with the job they did that we hired them again to replace a fence and gate that were falling apart. We opted for sanded redwood, and the result is one of the most beautiful fences in the neighborhood, at a very competitive price. Inner's crew of skilled carpenters (Ricardo, Joel, William) is very professional, kind and friendly. Inner was quick to answer my many texts about the projects, giving great advice and accommodating all of my special requests. We look forward to hiring them again for any future projects. read more

After getting a bunch of estimates, we decided to go with Inner Miranda and team, who were coincidentally the first to respond with a bid and the most competitive. I received 5-6 quotes from different people and Inner was the most responsive of them all. Even during the quote process, Inner gave suggestions and provided a vision for the project.
