Got my nails done a week ago. Once i got home i noticed the French tip lines are all uneven and the length is completely uneven And now they are starting to pop off less than two weeks after getting them done. I wouldn't recommend this nail shop to anyone. Definitely won't be returning and it's not like ur normal nail shop vibe in there. read more

Walked in with my friend had an appointment thought since it was close to the house to check it out. They took us in right away what was strange it was only us two in there for two hours no other customers came in besides one lady at the end which was odd usually it's always busy in the ones I go in. Second the two nail techs talked to each other the whole time which I find rude when you have a customer also they didn't let me me and my friend talk barely or seat us next to each other.. the shaping was horrible but the color was beautiful I got chrome purple. She did so many layers I never seen that before getting my nails done I guess she was just trying to hurry up and finish also when she did the acrylic she went over it so many times I lost track! She kept asking if I liked it but I guess my face said it all so I just have to stick with these for now.. 80 something dollars not worth it. I would ask to just have them taken off but since she spent so much time on them I had places to be! read more

Got a dip manure for $40 - definitely recommend. It's hard to find somewhere who can do it cheap and well these days. The tech spent the time to ensure he took good care of my nails. They are thin so he didn't file them down too much and I'm trying to grow them out so he kept the length. Clean atmosphere was a plus! Able to walk right in and get an appointment! read more

I had horrible pedicure today, not typical of AJ Nails but I'm really frustrated the gel pedicure was rippled and very thick and not to the cuticle. I went back in after I got to my car and asked for another appt to remove the pedicure. Anthony asked if I wanted it redone and I said no. There were 2 customers at different times, inside when I got my pedicure that interrupted and listened to my conversation with the nail tech. I thought the owner would catch on that I didn't appreciate them and as a result total attention was not paid to my gel pedicure and it was screwed up. When I pay for a service please don't let other patrons interrupt and prevent me from getting a great pedicure. I don't think this is acceptable work at all! AJ Nail was fantastic. Super clean, since it is fairly new...I think it's been open about 7 months. AJ himself did a fabulous job on my mani/pedi. He even assisted me in picking out my Crackle and base color combination, testing different combos out on the nail manikin for me to see. He was very professional, gave a great leg and hand massage, and was thoughtfully polite, bringing me over a plethora of magazines and turning on my massage chair. Cool dude. At $35, my spa manicure and pedicure package was a worthwhile treat for myself. I will definitely be returning, maybe this time for gel nails. We shall see. read more

I came in for a last minute wax. This is near my house so I thought I would try them out. I'm glad I did! First off, I was greeted immediately and only waited a short time before being serviced. Second off, I couldn't believe how cheap it was. The lady who did my wax was not only very comfortable, she did a fantastic job. I came here Oct 27, it is now Nov 19 and the hair still hasn't come in! I'm shocked and super happy with the service. I will for sure be back for more waxes as well as trying out their mani/pedi services. read more

Just left this place due to unhygienic practices!! The tech had me sit in a pedi chair that had not been cleaned. I was unaware of this fact before I sat down. The chair I was seated in, and the chairs on either side had wet towels on the foot rests. When I sat down the tech replaced the wet towel at my chair with a clean dry towel, but she did not fill the bowl. She went to finish up her manicure client and returned several minuets later. (not a problem). When she returned she asked what type of pedicure I would like and filled the bowl. She asked me to test the water with my feet. The water temperature was acceptable so she had me keep my feet in the water and added the soaking salts..... Immediately after adding the salts another tech called my tech over and they had an exchange that ended in the tech telling my tech to drain the bowl my feet were in. I thought this was odd and waited to see what was the problem. As the bowl was draining my tech got out the cleaning supplies and began scrubbing the bowl next to me and picking up the wet towels. I immediately knew what the problem was--- they hadn't sanitized the pedi bowl they had me soaking!!! I asked my tech "was the bowl not cleaned before you had me put my feet in it?" She answered "we're not sure..." I was disgusted! I instantly took my feet out of the water and explained that I was leaving!! There was no apology, nothing. Please beware of their hygiene practices before you put your hands or feet into their bowls or let them use their tools on you. If I could give this place zero stars, I would! I will NOT return! read more

I would NEVER recommend anyone EVER going here. My first and only experience with this place was horrible! When the technician started on my nails I should have known to walk away. I had gel polish on over my acrylic nails and she was going to soak them to get it off, which I had to correct. Next I paid these people before they painted my nails, big mistake! I asked for French tips, which were hand painted on and had no arch to the white, followed up with only one clear coat over the top so I could feel the raised white tips. The worst part of all, when I woke the next morning (less than 24 hrs) my nails were YELLOW! I am not a smoker or one that goes to tanning beds, it was disgusting! read more

After having bad experiences at two nail salons, I decided to try AJ Nail because it was close to my home. When I walked in the door, Anthony, the owner, greeted me with a smile and made me feel comfortable right from the start with his friendliness. Even though it was 45 min. until closing, he told me that they could give me a mani and pedi right then. Their place was so clean and decorated very pretty. Helen, the nail tech, that gave me my mani and pedi was excellent! She did a marvelous job, taking her time and asking me as she went along if I liked the shape she was doing my nails, etc. Everything didn't get done until an hour after they closed, and they never complained or tried to hurry it along. Their pricing is very reasonable. I am so pleased that I have my new "nail home" and will recommend them to all my friends. They know how to run a business and make a customer feel special.
