In town for one night only and needed nail repair ASAP. I was able to walk in and get seated quickly. Not the best manicure, but it did the job. Reasonably priced.

Had an excellent experience here today with artist Hannah. A friend made a reservation for 3 pedicures, we were taken promptly at our reservation time (at some salon's they make you wait even with a reservation because they accept too many walk-ins). The salon is clean and well lit, and they use a new foot tub liner for each customer. They have a wide selection of color choices and are very accommodating. I just moved to town and can't wait to come back here for many more appointments! Highly recommend the royal pedicure - includes a 10 minute foot massage and a scrub.

All colors used are OPI. An OPI chrome is also used to create this.

This is the spot where I typically get my nails done in St. Louis. The service and quality of their manicures & pedicures are pretty consistent. The prices are a little high, but they are on par with other nail salons in the city. The owner is always very kind and willing to change a design or fix any errors in your nails. The facilities are clean, and they have an extensive collection of gel, dip, and regular polish shades. My biggest qualm with Central West End Nail and Spa, however, is often it can be a bit hectic on the inside. It seems that each timeslot is double booked and typically you will wait 10 to 15 minutes to receive service, even if you make an appointment and show up on time. The last few times I've been there my nail techs have been bouncing around from me to other customers. You do need a reservation to receive service, but even if you do have a reservation, you still have to do some waiting. Despite this, the nail techs are kind and do a consistently good job.

Very impressionable staff. They greeted me and assisted with different options for the style I wanted instead of forcing me to get something else. Even the other patrons spoke.

I left a review about this salon before, and the owner tried to clap back saying my nails were "still being worked on" when I took photos. That's so funny! Cute attempt, but wrong. Here's the reality: 1. She ignored the fact that I was literally screamed at in the salon. Blatantly disregarded the horrible experience and tried to victim blame. 2. I was told "you're done" before the tech walked away. YOU CAN LITERALLY SEE THE EMPTY CHAIR ACROSS FROM ME IN THE PHOTO! She literally left and was done. I sat there, snapped the photos, and left. That wasn't mid-process--that was their idea of a finished product. Just because I sat in the chair after the tech was done and took the picture doesn't mean I was mid process. So to prove my point and as requested, here is another photo at home- not in the chair- Just two days after another visit, my gel polish was already peeling off. Two. Days. I wasn't out building houses or rock climbing--I literally woke up like this. After digging into why this happens, the answer is obvious: they're using old, expired gel. Translation: cheap shortcuts on products while still charging full price. So, let's be clear about what this salon actually offers: Staff who scream at customers instead of treating them with basic respect. Expired, low-quality products that ruin your nails. Prices that suggest you're getting luxury, but results that look like a five-year-old's art project. If you enjoy being disrespected, overcharged, and walking out with nails worse than press-ons from Walgreens, this is your spot. Otherwise, do yourself a favor: avoid this place like the plague.

My wife and I came here for our 10 year wedding anniversary, and man did we have an awesome experience. The ladies who did our mani/pedi's were so nice and professional. My wife got powder dipped nails. She absolutely loves them and has gotten so many compliments. My leg massage eas amzinand the massage chair hit my back up exactly where it needed. Would definitely go back ovover and over again. First impressions are a lasting impression and they definitely left that. You won't regret it!

Cute nail salon! I was able to walk in and get a manicure without a wait (though this was on a weekday morning). My nails are super shiny now and they smell really nice from the hand scrub they use. Plus they are now cutely rounded in shape. There's also free Wi-Fi while you wait for your nails to dry!

Order: male Mani (gel & polish) & pedi Pros: they were quick and nice! The kid that was hangim out was also very friendly. I had no issues as a male goin to get my hands and feet done. They were very accommodating and inclusive. Cons: they messed up one of the dots on my nails (boo). I just noticed it. Also the scrub was just okay. I had to go back over my feet once I returned home.

The people here were friendly. I would recommend for simple manis and pedis, maybe even gel. But I'd recommend going elsewhere beyond that. I made an appointment for two to ensure we could get our manicures next to each other and at the same time, but we were sat away from each other and her nails were started about 15 minutes before mine. So I'd explicitly request if you want to be sat with your friends. My manicure turned out pretty rough. I got dip nails and they added gel to get the design, which turned out thick and uneven. You could also see my real nail on the sides. I ended up removing them the next day at my usual place. Not the worst manicure I've had, but was bummed to pay $60.

VERY SHORT acrylic nails in oval shape. She KILLED it! Even my crooked nail she did straight!!

When we arrived, we were the only 2 clients in the space since we had the last appointments of the night. The girls working got us checked in, offered us something to drink and let us pick out our nail color from the wall. I was glad to see they offer dazzle dry since that's been my new favorite type of polish recently. Once we had our colors, the techs had us sit in the chairs and we were able to soak our feet for a bit. The bowls they use are meant to be cleaner than the traditional pedicure tubs and are easy to move around as needed. Once we had our feet soaking for a bit, the techs started to clean/scrub our feet/ankles and calves. They also provided a warm neck wrap that we could put on while relaxing. Once they are ready to start with the lotion and hot towels, they have you recline back in the chair which was so nice. My favorite part was when they did the hot stone massage on my feet/calves. Honestly, that felt so good and lasted a nice amount of time. Once all of the pampering was completed, my nail tech started to work on my toes and made sure they were getting painted correctly. She did at least 2 coats of the color along with a base coat and a top coat so I trust the color will last for a bit. We were able to remain reclined for about 10-15 minutes while our toes were drying and then the nail techs came out to check on our toes so that we could put on our flip flops and head out. The techs were so friendly and really made sure we felt good afterwards. They helped us up off our chairs and then we were able to pay before leaving. This really was such a nice experience for a pedicure. Now that I have done the basic pedicure, I may be interested in doing one of their speciality pedicure experiences next time.

This place exceeded my expectations!…read more After still on the hunt for a reputable and well-priced nail salon, I came cross Wild Nails. Since they're appointment only, I made one for 11/29 and was able to get the first slot of the day. Kathy warmly greeted me and did my pedicure first. I saw the pricing for the services and asked what the difference was between the regular and deluxe pedicure and she said it came with a wax treatment and something else. For a $5.00 difference, I decided to get it. She went through the normal steps of removing the polish and so forth. I really appreciated her checking throughout the service to ensure my needs were met both with the shape and length of the nail, as well as how it looked. At first I didn't see the value of the deluxe until she put my feet in the wax bags and had it soak for a few mins. Once removed, my feet were so Incredibly soft! I figured ok, so the pedicure was great, let's see how well she does nails and that's where she really shined. When she started my nails, I noticed she was working a bit faster than she did on my feet. At that point, I assumed she had another appt (which she did), I just wasn't sure when. I was amazed that even while working a bit faster, she still cared about the accuracy and look of my nails. I'm used to being rushed and the nails not looking to my liking, but she was the opposite. Not only did she nail the design, but everything else was perfect. Best of all, she told me the prices up front so I knew everything she was charging for and there were no surprises afterwards. Kathy was polite, thorough, and did great work. Considering I paid less here for a fill, pedicure, and tip than I did at the other place with just a full set and tip, it's a no brainer who's getting my business in the future. I can't wait to come back!

Every spot I had gone to/tried to go to said no to doing the gel removal or simply would not respond to my calls/messages. It had become such an inconvenience and I was ready to give up hope until a friend recommended Clayton Nail Spa (spoiler alert -- they did the dang job). I did a walk-in around 2 PM on a Sunday and I received service within 5 minutes. They have a full staff that is really on their A-game all the time (I was there for almost 2 hours and paid attention to their workflow). They seem to have a handful of regulars and are really polite to clients (I witnessed a girly unload her entire life story onto a worker, unprompted, and the staff respectfully let her talk at them the entire time). The lady who worked on my nails was very sweet and chatted with me the entire time, explaining what she was doing and why. She really went above and beyond with removing the gel nails as carefully as possible, offering to do additional services and not pushing when I said no, and meticulously grooming my cuticles and buffing my skin. The pricing was fair and she was very transparent about the cost of each service before getting started. I'm not a big nail salon person because I'm quite frugal about these matters, but I would absolutely come back here for any nail service needs in the future.

The design was one of my own and though it was complicated they did their best to keep it as close as possible.

She was pulling on my cuticles and I've never seen someone so awkward with a nail file, which she didn't really do. She didn't ask what shape or really any questions. She was so sweet, but just clearly didn't know what she was doing. You can tell in the pictures of how unevenly the polish was applied. It's cute inside and I feel bad leaving a mid review, but nails are expensive and a want not a need, so it's a huge letdown when the service isn't great quality. The booking system is pretty odd- its online but it doesn't actually show you what is available. It gives all times and days- and you put in a request and wait for the salon to text you that if that time slot is okay or not. If not, they try to offer other ones, but it can take up to 24 hours to hear back. They are also closed on specific days but it allows you to book still. I just want to know if I have an appointment right away, so this system isn't ideal. The salon has very cute decor, comfy couches and great color selection- featuring nontoxic polish (really appreciate that). The salon is very professional, but other things were a miss for me. They dont have any massage chairs- I think that is one of the best parts. The standard pedicure is done pretty quickly- with minimal soaking, scrubbing, etc. The leg massage is really short with the tiniest amount of lotion (they use amazon branded lotion). They don't remove dead dry skin off your heels really at all. When I got back, I noticed the blue tablet they put into the water for the pedicure dyed the bottom of my foot blue. It took awhile to scrub off- but also how did they not see my foot was blue?? I also noticed the smallest bit of nail polish missing at the top of one of my toes. It wasn't the end of the world, but compared to how many nail places are out there I probably wouldn't go back unless someone I was with really wanted to. Overall experience: 3/5
